For two straight years he screwed up my taxes. I even had to instruct him as to where to find the information on filing my Oklahoma State taxes, and still he couldn't get it right. Last year he screwed them up to the tune of almost $2000. He and his father,(because his father reviews all returns), are the worst tax people you could have do them, go to H and R block, your neighbor, anyone but them. When we began the year before I was a neophyte and Monique always took time to explain things to me. She's a patient teacher, a good team leader, and has always guided us in a good direction. If I needed an updated certificate certificate I always heard "I'll get that out to your contractor." They do that as part of their service to a small business owner. After our second year we discovered CF had a good reputation on boats and SXS. When our lithium battery exploded in our boat's compartment, burning the electrical and new decking carpet, seats kind of melted, and the smell of toxicity that made us gag and cough - that lithium soaked into EVERYTHING... CF reps really stepped up. I cried for 3 weeks as it was a special older boat that we upgraded and rehabbed back to beautiful over years. I figured there was no way to replace it. They offered us an option to buy it back that made sense. My husband hired a fellow bass fisherman to pull everything off it that was a mess. And he even surprised me by replacing the seats. CF and my husband were a good team - I use that term carefully. We have never felt it was us against them. As a small business working with water pipes, any call we had, a claim, was handled without reservation. When I questioned why they would pay a university for a rented copier that was barely dampened on the top only, they said, "We got you. It's okay." Yes insurance fraud on the university's part. Did not phase them. Skip ahead a year, and a brand new truck which I bought to keep my husband safe....well, it did its job. Both occupants walked away with only air bag burns and bruising. Our CF agent Monique turned us over quickly to another department and our truck was inspected a few days later. When first collision center turned out to be a bad decision on my part, I explained it felt like we were being reeled in and they would rip them (CF) off any way they could. They truly heard me. I explained I initialed things carefully and crossed out a paragraph explaining the center was NOT to order parts. Well, they did. And it was a partial tear down. They were going to drag out ordering things layer by layer. Not acceptable. Manager laughed at my "Maybe 6 months?" He retorted "Ha. It might be a year. We can't promise you how long." CF said "Get the truck out of there asap. We will figure out the expense later. You pay for it now and we will do all we can on the backside if it's totaled." Our next experience was more professional - conversations on day one explaining their process. Goal - we were trying to get a new truck with 4000 miles fixed asap OR get it totaled out. Extended wait times due to lack of OEM parts would mean our work truck would sit a minimum of 6 months up to 9 or 10 months. The looming UAW strike made it worse. But thanks to Valerie S at AutoNation Tempe's collision center AND our CF adjusters and their coordinators ....and the fact it was a HD diesel truck we have to have (hard to rent one)....they totaled it. This part was painless. My husband did not dicker even when they asked us if their offer was close/fair. "What we're you thinking?" That was Country Financial's attitude. We knew it was a fair offer. They could have chosen to not total it. Are we a good customer? Yes. We have everything with CF. I moved our house over to CF two years ago. And we will not consider switching - we won't shop other ins groups as long as we have our business. Our office manager rarely has to spend more than 5 minutes a week communicating on anything insurance related - this saves us money on office costs. Ms Allan knows small business needs and contracting office concerns really well. As long as she's on board my stress level is low. If you're a contractor set an appt and meet her. Actually we took a YEAR before we ever stepped into her office - we felt THAT confident after our phone meeting/interview. Customer service is great. Turn around is fast. And she cares about her clients. She saw my original home policy was weak. She stepped it up. Owner/agents do not have a simple job. Accidents. Fires. Injuries. Deaths. 7 days a week. We're ALL A TEAM IN THIS. She gets that.

They just couldn't stop singing her praises as their age and as a company. I figured I definitely want an agent and company like they were describing. We called to setup home, auto, and added an umbrella policy. What can I say but Wow! My neighbor was right. She is at the top of her game. She was extremely thorough on finding out our needs, situation, and putting together a whole picture for us and connecting the dots for everything. She was extremely patient, answered my many many questions via phone and email. Her knowledge of the industry, what we actual would need and not need, the limits, etc were incredible. We are now moving to Georgia and unfortunately Country Financial couldn't compete price wise with many of the other insurers we looked at. Monique gave us honest feedback on the other companies positive and negative. She even called back for a follow-up to let us know to consider another one we hadn't for a quote. We will very much miss Monique, and it is very rare to find someone who truly loves what they do and shares their knowledge in an unbiased manner so the customer is offered what fits their personal situation the best, instead of just adding someone to their customer base.
