    Had a wet bedroom floor, hubby called Tom Shell Plumbing. Turns out that was mistake 1. Spa shower system in the master bath, developed a crack, leaking into the walls. Tech knew there was something more serious after his diagnosis & suggested a restoration co. If we knew then what we know now, Would have stopped, paid for his services & been done He was nice to stick around & wait for me to get home. He had finished w/ hubby, & hubby wanted me to help w/ our next move, have the tech explain what happened & a potential new shower head. Felt pressured, like it should be replace right away, surprise, it didn't. Came recommended, so thought we could trust them. Mistake 2. Told a new shower head would apply to deductible, as he knew insurance was going to have to get involved. We had never had to deal w/ or file a home claim in 30+ years, so didn't know any better I am particular about my showers, as I am not a tall person. Asked for pictures & description of the new shower head, there were none. Convenient? He explained what it would be like. It was installed while I was at work. Didn't see it until I got home, then it was too late. Well, it wasn't anything like we were told/wanted, looks, length or functionality. Lie #1 & DEFINITELY NOT worth $1,200 price. Ordered same day, so service call was deducted. A line to order right away. Mistake 3 The restoration co came out, a day after the plumber tech was here. That is the only thing the tech got right, going to need some major repairs. New shower head installed, then right after the remediation/demolition began. Down 2 BR's & master bath for 3 months now Finally received insurance approval for repairs. The new shower head, was NOT applied to the deductible, like we were told. Both the restoration co & insurance told us, the thing that caused the issue is NOT covered. Lie 2 Since the new shower head was not what we were told, length, looks, usage & pressure wise, we are replacing it w/ something better, more functional, when we start the rebuild process. Since I no longer need the useless, overpriced shower head, tried to return it to get my money back. I have bought other shower heads in the past & never had 1 this small or bad Started out well, person who answered was friendly & sounded like she wanted to help & cared. Exchanged a couple calls back n forth. I appreciated that. However, that is where the CS ended. I was waiting for a return call later that day or the next, didn't happen. I had to call the next day, as I didn't hear anything, to see if there was an update on my questions. They didn't even have the decency to call, to tell me, No, I wasn't getting my money back. Said I signed a contract for the work, the work was done. It wasn't the work in question, it was the product they sold us. Shower head was cheap & ineffective & not what was expected or told. Get this, was told, I could return it, for no refund. Why, so you can resell it & make a double profit? Hubby is the patient one & is not happy, wants to take them to small claims court. Needless to say, we learned some valuable lessons & learned who NOT to trust or use in the future. Thank You for the lies, lessons & taking over $1,000 of our hard earned money, for something we will never use. You hit us in the wallet, let's see w/ reviews/social media, if we can return some of the favor. Hate that this happened, I don't like doing reviews, rarely do & that I feel I need to sink to this level. I feel companies need to learn from their mistakes/practices. While potential customers, need to be aware/learn from our mistakes. If I can save 1 person reading this time & money Glad you stand behind your products/services at the cost of losing customers. Businesses are built on customer service, reviews & word of mouth. It really is sad. Where has customer service gone? Jesus hanging on a cross said in Luke 23:34.. "Father Forgive them, because they do now know what they are doing" Good Luck to anyone who uses them..     Plumber came to property to I stall a valve outdoors... not friendly to speak to...he spent approximately 6 to 7 hours doing the job....

The original kitchen sink setup existed before Farrell came and did my complete retrofit of all of the plumbing in my home. In typical Florida home fashion, that sink setup was a convoluted mess and would continually leak no matter how often it was tightened. Called Farrell Plumbing to see if they could fix this mess and send Mark over to look at it. Professional and very nice young man, Mark, took one look at it and saw the issue was with the gaskets and showed me why it kept leaking. He additionally looked at the original setup and saw a more workable solution, made the replacement features and shortly I hear the sound of running water with no leaks in sight. Mark's plumbing observation and skills saw a workable solution that also provided more room under the sink. When I requested the invoice, Mark shared that his boss said, this is close to the warranty for the retrofit work so no charge. I was GOBSMACKED. Never expected this. Again, I cannot say enough about the work ethic and skills of this family owned business. Thank you yet again, Farrell Plumbing.

I originally just wanted the waterline, but when they got to my home, I thought I better ask about the rocking toilet as well. One plumber quoted me $630, and Farrell quoted me $685. I asked if they could match the other, and Shane made a call and they came back even less than the 1st plumber for both jobs. I wasn't able to get the job done that day, but we set it up for the following Monday. Shane arrived on time, and went to work. He did clean work, detailing to me what he was doing and why it was important. I liked that he not only was the one who gave me a quote, but he did the job. He was detailed, explained things well, cleaned up better than it was before he came, and was thorough. I will use again, and recommend, and will request him every time. Like Share

    I am 76 yo and Roto Rooter provided the best service I have ever experienced in my short life…read more Scheduling was done online, without the need for follow up calls. That alone was amazing. The technician showed up on time, and when back up was required the senior support manager came within 20 minutes. The plumber we originally called (different company) took 2 days and 4 visits to "incomplete" the job. Roto Rooter got the job done in one service call and stayed until the job was done correctly. The new Roter Rooter does not just fix drains. They do it all and they do it well.

The plumber who came to my house said that he needed to replace everything in the toilet tank and would cost $450. I thought that was way too expensive to replace the old mechanism with a new one. So I called a different plumber the next day. He took a quick look and said "I can do it for $200". When I told him that Roto Rooter quoted me $450 he was shocked. The parts that needed to be replaced cost $25. I gladly accepted his price and he got the job done in 30 minutes. This just goes to show that you don't have to call a "name brand" to get the job done. For those of you who like to use the big name plumbers, have at it. I'll stick to the independents. I'd give Roto Rooter 0 stars but that option isn't available on Yelp.

However when it comes to plumbing issues, he said just call a professional do not risk plumbing issues. I am so glad that I called Roman Plumbing, they were so professional and so courteous I'm almost excited to have a plumbing issue to call them again. They excel at customer service, quality products and service, safety, and even education of plumbing measure you can independently take. I initially spoke with Frankie, and he told me that they have three different options and they would help advise me of what would be best depending on what my kitchen needed. I instantly received an email and text notification for my appointment. Brandon was was my designated plumber, I received a text update. Then a few moments later I received a call from Brandon letting me know he was on his way, and would be at my house in about 15 minutes. Before I knew it, Brandon was at my house with the Roman Plumbing truck. I really appreciated this, as a safety feature being alone on the house at night. Roman Plumbing defiantly set a very professional manner before even making it to door. Brandon looked at the old garbage disposal, and saw that it did indeed need to be replaced. One time previously, it had leaked. But other than the one time, I never experienced any other problems with it. Brandon explained to me the three different models that they had, and advised me of what would be best. Before quoting me for the job, he looked in what appeared to be a manual or a Roman Plumbing Bible of everything. Pricing was very fair, and seeing him utilize this manual insured to me that Brandon was following absolute and total company procedure, policy, and pricing. Brandon installed the new garbage disposal, and went above and beyond. He took the time to check the pipes to make sure there was nothing blocking them. He also went through to explain to me what is and is not a good item to put down a garbage disposal. He also took the time to re-seal the top of the opening to my sink to the garbage disposal. Apparently this had not been done properly before, Brandon was happy to help correct it. What was most impressive is when Brandon was finishing up, he asked me "Do you have any other plumbing questions or issues?" I told him I had a question about the water (staining my toilets), he instantly knew it was hard water. A quick fix from a water softener. He explained to me about the nouveau system (with citrus) an alternate to a water softener, since I didn't like the texture or scent from it. He also showed me how to optimize my dishwasher, which I told him I rarely use because my husband does a better job at watching them like Cinderella. He showed me the preferred detergent for my dish water, and how to tweak my rinse settings to get more shine (I'm all about that sparkle & shine). Brandon also inquired with some other items just to make sure I had no other issues. Brandon did the transaction right there with me present. This was really nice, just to ensure security of my credit card. He also provided me with the documents that went along with the garbage disposal. I will absolutely call Roman plumbing anytime I even think I may have a plumbing question or problem. I know that whenever I may call Roman plumbing, they will always take care of any problem 100%. And if it is not a Plumbing issue they will get me to the right person who will uphold the same customer service they offer.
