Going 3 zip codes west of my home, I get to Cloverly, MD. 20905 zip code is Silver Spring mailing…read moreaddress, which the post office determined large swaths of land as "Silver Spring" even though Cloverly is far from Silver Spring itself. When I lived in Wheaton, which was a lot closer to downtown Silver Spring, I still always wrote/typed Wheaton, MD 20902. I had a dentist when I live in Wheaton that was less than a mile away, and she was good, and it's a hassle finding a new dentist. I moved to Russett in 2020, and I kept going all the way back to Wheaton for my dentist through 2023. My girlfriend recommended her dentist Colesville Dentistry, and she was right! I first arrived here in May 2024, then November 2024, & most recently May 2025. Wow, this dentist is top notch, blows the Wheaton dentist I had out of the water. The staff is friendly, efficiently gets you in. Dr. Chai, other dentists, & technicians have been friendly doing a great job with the cleanings as well as advise on better dental habits. Also, this is a state of the art dental office. When you are lying on the dental chair, there is a TV screen above you with high definition nature scenes which is peaceful when the dentist isn't exactly the most pleasant experience even with Colesville Dentistry being the best case scenario goes as far as the dentist goes. They have great technology with computer modeling of my teeth & more, which the prior dentist I had fell short. Although it's still not super close to my home, still easier than going to Wheaton and worth the drive. Overall, I highly recommend Colesville Dentistry.

I found someone even better, just 5 minutes from my home! Colesville Dentistry is amazing. Their office staff is very friendly, their office is big, bright and clean, with state of the art equipment and both the dentists and dental assistants are all highly skilled, professional and very knowledgeable. I am one to always ask questions because I can't see into my own mouth and I'm curious to know exactly what's going on. The dentists have been patient with me, explaining everything in detail and even taking photos of the procedure so I can have a clear understanding of my dental health. I highly recommend them!

My experience with Dr. Puterman began a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away--before Covid…read morewas a word, let alone a plague. After consulting with a number of specialists, the consensus was clear. Dr. Puterman is the best at what he does in the DMV--and my particular case (don't ask) required the best. I confess, I was skeptical. But a little more than half a decade (and several surgeries later (don't ask), I have a functional mouth again. Not only teeth that work but teeth that look great. Best of all, the pain that tormented me for decades is gone. GONE. Obliterated. Throughout this ordeal, Dr. Puterman stuck by me. And I by him and his extraordinary staff and colleagues. Dr. Puterman was always honest. Always fair. Always honorable. Always kind. And always decent. This is not what I would have expected given the intrinsic challenges of my case and the fickle nature of human biology that doesn't always cooperate with titanium and bone grafts. And yet--here I am--finally some five plus years later. Grateful beyond words for my experience with Dr. Puterman. Don't get me wrong. I won't miss being in his chair for scores of additional hours. I'm a grateful patient. And what makes me especially grateful is that we made it--together. If you desire the best that modern dentistry has to offer, there is no one better--more capable, skillful, and honorable. I could not recommend anyone more highly. Puterman is the best.

I had a panic attack during an IV sedation appointment with Dr. Puterman. Dr. Puterman was unable…read moreto sedate me (which I get, that happens sometimes). However, he didn't stop. He continued to work on me through my panic attack, and never even reached out to my husband who was in the waiting room. I couldn't speak due to the dental dam, bite block and all the instruments in my mouth, so I just lay there, hyperventilating with tears streaming down my face. I was severely traumatized. Weeks later, when I approached Dr. Puterman about the trauma, he dismissed my concerns, gaslighting me by questioning the validity of my experience. He even went on to tell me that his family member's panic attacks did not present in that fashion so I must not have been having one. He called me by the wrong name, patronized me, and completely disregarded my concerns about my very disturbing experience. To make matters worse, he went as far as involving my father (a retired sedation dentist who administered the exam to Dr. Puterman for his IV sedation license) to dispute my account. He tried to get my father to agree that I wasn't having a panic attack and that he didn't do anything wrong (News flash - My dad is well aware of my history and conducted all my dental treatment up until his retirement. He didn't agree). If you seek compassionate care, and especially if you are tough to sedate or have anxiety, I would advise considering alternative dentists who prioritize patient well-being over financial interests. There are many other very accomplished dentists out there who treat the whole person and don't just see dollar signs.

Makes you want to spend the whole day in the waiting room. But no. They are professional and get you back to the rooms with expediency. Then there's the surgical rockstars. They get you prepped up and keep nice and calm. I don't anxiety when seeing Doctors, but they talk your through it and I bet would keep you nice and calm if you did experience anxiety or fear. They pre-numb you with plenty of gel. Then there's Dr injects you with enough to ensure you're not even remotely uncomfortable during the procedure. Dr. Boquel kept pausing during the lidocaine injections, to ensure I was ok. I have a high pain threshold, but I didn't have any pain at all. I told him I can tolerate a bit of pain, and he was reassuring me saying that He doesn't want me to have any pain at all. I guess other previous surgeons were cheaping out on the lidocaine. This place prioritizes your comfort, and I REALLY appreciate that. Just because someone can take a little pain doesn't mean they should have to. It's the next day after getting HUGE implant screwed into my skull, and I'm feeling no pain. And I literally mean screwed. He was using a little socket wrench tool to screw this thing in. I felt like a car engine being worked on. But seriously, I'm not in any pain. I thought I would need some really good pain killers like oxy; like what you get after an extraction. But no. They prescribe only 600 of ibuprofen, and I only took 2 of those so far. 1 soon as I got home, and 1 right before bed. I don't even think I'll need them at all today. Dr. Boquel has the magic touch!
