The chips were nice and hot topped with melted cheese and refried beans. The guacamole tasted fresh and the scoop of sour cream added the perfect amount of coolness. The chips and salsa were also very good. I didn't get a picture as we finished it quickly. The servers were also very attentive and kind. Thank you Alberto! We parked around back, and walked across the bridge, and deck, to get inside. The flowers here are outstanding - they look professionally done. We opted to sit outside, at a table in the shade, with an umbrella - there's a really nice breeze that comes through here. On Saturdays they have a brunch menu vs. lunch menu (with limited lunch items and more breakfast type items/dishes with eggs), and I ordered the chicken caesar wrap, which comes with either slaw, or fries. It was generously portioned - the chicken was seasoned well, cooked perfectly, nice and juicy. Also plenty of lettuce, and just the right amount of dressing. The fries were thin, and crispy, which is just how I like them (they also had sour cream to dip them in!) My husband ordered the parfait, which was also very generously portioned, with fresh fruit, and candied nuts on top, which he really enjoyed. We really enjoyed our lunch, and look forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!

(The address is approximate.) It has a couple of outdoor tables and a tarp to keep the sun and frequent afternoon downpours off its customers. Lovin' Spoonful offers a four or five specials daily...sandwiches mostly, with salads on the side. We've eaten there twice, and both times got a very fresh sandwich and side salad. Our favorite was the falafel & hummous sandwich. It was piled high with two or three large falafel balls and tons of veggies. It was served on a nice, crusty, home-made pita. Definitely worth checking out if you want to sit outside or take food back to your place.

These pues ate highly portable and reheat easily! As rafting or hiking fare, a worthy choice. This gypsy camp has no seating, and only trailer window service, but as a foodtruck is worth a stop! I also asked for a side of rice and beans - the rice is white but nice and fluffy and the beans were whole pinto and they gave salt to sprinkle on the beans since they usually put in the burritos only - perfect taste ! We got the spicy hot cause and it was flavorful AND the right amount of heat. Friendly service , good energy and smiles. My in laws had us booked for dinner every night so we had one chance to run next door and grab a couple to go. Looking at the menu I noticed how moderate the prices were. Still, I wasn't expecting much. We decided to get an order of the "Chicken verde" and "Pork Carnitas". The sweet girl at the front was friendly and brief. Which I like, I don't like people talking to me. After we put the order in she asked what kind of salsa we wanted. "Oh. The hottest one you've got!" I confidently responded. We decided to walk away just so they could do their thang. We returned about 10 minutes later and the order was ready. I could hardly stand my excitement. Walking into our cabin my husband decided we should wait a little bit longer to eat. "Wait a minute, *green goh* ! I'm hungry! And I've been wanting a taco for weeks!" I said in my determined Mexican voice. I proceeded to open the neatly packaged boxes. I didn't know which one to pick! I bet you can't guess what I did? Being the sinful glutton that I am, I grabbed one of each. I carefully poured tiny drops of the red salsa. But then I remembered my father told me I had bigger pelotas than my brothers and went a couple of more drops. The chicken verde was the first bite. The lettuce made the first bite a bit crunch. The taste of the chicken verde hit all sides of my tongue and mouth. Then came the punch of the red salsa. They really know what they're doing with this. I was impressed. The chicken was flavorful, tender, and it reminded me of the Christmas pork tamales that my momma makes. The juices were flowing out. And everyone knows that a messy taco is the first sign of a good taco. Next, I had a bite of the pork carnitas taco. The sour cream added delightful hints of tart and the pork was cooked to tender perfection in the red sauce. It was obvious they were cooked for hours. I enjoyed the pork carnitas the most. I didn't add as much red sauce. So dad, you were wrong. I'm a shame. In all seriousness, this was a very special treat. It is especially difficult to find delicious Mexican food in SOME parts of the north. Especially delicious tacos, My husband and I highly recommend that you try these. All of the animals are well taken care of and added to the overall wonderful experience. The hosts are very friendly and offered a delicious breakfast. There is also a well-marked trail on the property, for those who wish to commune with nature. Cheesemaking classes are also available. We purchased some of the goat milk lotion, it's made on site (I believe). Wonderful product for the dry Colorado air. I would definitely recommend!

Everything from the beds to the breakfast was perfect, plenty of study space with games and activities, this place was worth every penny! Gina and Darcy were wonderful chefs and baristas, they made this stay perfect! I simply can't recommend Mountain Goat Lodge enough!
