I saw two other dentists and was told that my tooth was fractured and needed to be extracted. I came to this office during their annual free extraction event expecting to lose the tooth. Dr. Andersen took the time to thoroughly evaluate the situation and wasn't convinced that extraction was the right answer. She determined that the "lesion" was actually a piece of bone protruding through the gum and removed it. Almost immediately, the pain that had been bothering me for weeks was gone. I am incredibly grateful not only because she found the real problem, but because she saved my tooth. Her knowledge, patience, and willingness to look deeper instead of rushing to remove the tooth made all the difference. Thank you, Dr. Andersen, for your exceptional care. Their techniques and machinery are state-of-the-art and they even have cable-tv so you can watch while you're in the chair! I always brace myself for the initial needle stick and deep burning that follows from the Novocaine... However to my surprise Dr. Kuzmack pulls out a device that he uses in conjunction with the needles that massages your gums during injection which helped to alleviate any pain! I was totally taken back that I did not feel ANY pain the entire procedure. No pain from the needle or the root extraction.
