I was very disappointed with the poses that were given! Each women is shaped different. I was given the same poses as previous customer. I wanted more booty shots instead of front shots but the photographer avoided my opinions and did whatever they were use to. I was not allowed to review pics. I felt like I waisted my time and money! They focused more on a pose than a facial expression. Nice pose but stupid expressions. I felt rushed the entire time! This was my 1st and last experience at this photo shoot! read more

Boudoire Photo Shoot: AMAZING!!!!!!!! Ladies, if you've always wanted to do a boudoire shoot but are afraid that your body isn't quite what you'd like it to be; have no fear! It is truely amazing what a talented photographer like Tom can do with good lighting and camera angles! It won't look phony either-all his retouched shots still look completely natural. I've seen some retouched photography where you can immediately tell there was alot of photoshopping, but that is not the case with Tom's shots; they just look naturally gorgeous. I did my shoot this past Saturday and I was SOOOO nervous beforehand. I have no problem getting naked, but I'm not at a "personal 10" right now, so I was afraid that I was going to look fat and the whole thing would be really depressing. Tom put all my fears to rest right from the beginning and continually reassured me that he could fix any figure flaws in the photos. I must admit I was skeptical, but he totally delivered! My photos are AMAZING and I can't wait to give them to my boyfriend for his birthday! It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The front desk receptionist greated me right away and sent me up to hair and makeup. The stylist did a beautiful job and really listened and gave me the look I wanted. She had a lot of experience doing photo shoots, so she was also really helpful in giving me an idea of what to expect. The set was very nice and clean with a number of different props and scenes to use. As I said, I'm pretty comfortable naked, but if you're more shy there is a nice changing room. It's totally up to you how much you want to bare, and everything is at your comfort level. After the shoot was over, I waited about 20 minutes to review the shots on the computer with Nicki. In that short amount of time, Tom retouched two of my photos; I could not get over how good I looked!!! All my flaws were blended away, but I still looked completely natural. Nicki was really good at helping me pick out the best shots for the album I plan to give my boyfriend. It was the end of the day, but she didn't rush me at all, and I was able to take my time choosing. I am so excited to see the rest of the photos after they are retouched! The Groupon package was an awesome deal and I absolutely recommend it to anyone who want to do this but is on a budget. I wouldn't have been able to afford it at the usual rate of at least $400 (which I hear is the going rate for a boudoire shoot), so this Groupon package was perfect. You definitely get your money's worth! I cannot say enough what a wonderful experience this was, I'm so glad I did it! read more

I felt at ease with all of the staff, they made me comfortable and we had a great time during the makeup session and the photo session. I bought the CD because of all of the great pictures they took. The retouched photos are excellent--totally professional pictures and the photographer put me right at ease to capture the best looks! I couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable experience. I also went to Tommi for a boudoir shoot. From the moment I stepped in the door, the staff were excellent. The receptionist is a great conversationalist (you have some time from when the photos are taken to the review session). The hair and makeup stylist professional as well as fun company. Let's face it, you are in the chair for while. My stylist asked if I had anything in mind or if I would be willing to let her take artistic control. She styled my hair and makeup classy yet sultry. I was in awe at the face staring back at me - it was me. There wasn't theater makeup - it was just her expertise. I looked amazing. I was then ushered into the photo set. Tommi is fun and enjoys what he does. We spoke a bit and I had no idea what to expect. He helped me to look through my outfits and choose the appropriate one per scene. He has example shots so you can better direct him as to what you are looking for. At first he takes a few shots with you fully clothed and then works through to make sure you are comfortable - he won't push you out of that zone. The scenes are sexy but not distasteful. I wasn't sure what to expect but can I tell you - the pictures are awesome - without any touch ups. I definitely recommend doing this for yourself. read more

I also had the boudoir shoot at Tommi Studio, and I could not agree more with the other reviewer. Hair and makeup was exactly what I wanted! I was completely out of my comfort zone going into this shoot, but Tommi made me so comfortable. He really knows how to take flattering photos and the photos could not have come out any better. I could not choose between the photos so I ended up buying the CD with all of them. They were all so good and so different. Tommi will ask you in the beginning what you are looking for and will deliver exactly that. He is an excellent photographer! He took some really artsy shots. They were all classy and in good taste. The back drops were perfect! Those coupled with his direction gave me a nice variety and selection of photos. It was also a pleasure to meet Nikki. She was very sweet and helpful. She had me fully prepped before I got there and took me through all the photos once the shoot was over. LOVE everyone there! I did a boudoir shoot at Tommi Studio and it was amazing. Everyone there is really nice and the makeup/hair for the shoot was very natural and what I requested. Tom is an excellent photographer. He definitely knows what he is doing and is very energetic! He gives very specific instructions and guidance on how to pose. The photos looked so much better than I could have imagined. I was told I would have 2-3 outfit changes, but I ended up wearing all the outfits that I brought with me which was a total of about 6. I did a boudoir photo shoot with my friend today at Tommi Studio. From the time I made my appointment, Nikki was so friendly and helpful in answering all of the questions I had in advance. From the minute we walked in the door for the appointment, we felt right at home. The facility is beautiful and everyone on staff is very attentive, always checking in to see if there was anything we needed. Tommi did a beautiful job with the photographs and I was very pleased with the end results. I got a boudoir photography package from living social and in the beginning my experience was great. I'm not a picky person and appreciated that it was easy to reschedule my appointment when needed and my photography experience was good. However, I decided to purchase the entire CD of all of my photos and was supposed to pay and receive them right after my appointment on that Saturday. However, I was told that only one person was able to make the transactions--not sure why, and because she wasn't there at that time, I was told I would get the same price and have her mail them to me that day, and I would receive everything that Monday since I live 15 minutes away. Not only did I not receive them on Monday, I still haven't received them and it has been almost 2 weeks! Also, it seems that I was overcharged than the price I was told would be the exact charge when I was at the studio, I feel like I was taken advantage of and am still waiting for a response about this. I have sent numerous e-mails, left phone messages, and messages with the receptionists. I think that this is very unprofessional and unreliable considering I paid almost $200.00 for it, needed it ASAP for an anniversary gift, and it still hasn't arrived yet so the amount I paid isn't gonna end up being worth it for the gift. After finally speaking with the manager and asking for a refund since not only have I still not received my CD, but the purpose and gift was ruined and non existent, I was told that she would get back to me since I wanted a refund instead of a free massage or mani-pedi. I still haven't received a response or call since then. At least if it was comped for the money that I spent it would just be a hassle continuing to wait for it to arrive, rather than just being a hassle and a regret of spending my money. Therefore, I do not recommend using them and wasting your money. --Now, I have been told that since no one recalls me saying I needed the CD by the tuesday after my appointment on Saturday I will not get a refund, even though it has been two weeks late. The post office recorded that they lied and sent out the CD January 17th, and not the 13th, like they told me. I have received my CD hand delivered finally but I'm not sure why the 2 prints that came with my living social order haven't been included in this as well. Not only were my prints not included but I was supposed to get 5 retouched images and I only see 2 retouched on the CD. So once again I would not recommend using them as I have to waste my time constantly calling and messaging to receive anything and I only finally received what I paid for by hand and not the rest from my living social package. I purchased a Boudoir Photo shoot with Tommi Photography Studios on Living Social as a gift to myself for Valentine's Day. I should mention that I am 6 months pregnant with my last child and was looking forward to capturing the beauty and significance of my baby belly in a feminine and artistic fashion. I had done a bit of research and found that many photographers offer maternity versions of "boudoir" photo shoots. Tommi offered a Living Social deal and had generally good reviews on Yelp, so I thought it would be a good choice for a studio. Furthermore, Tommi's website did not specify that women in certain "conditions" are not permitted to be photographed. In the course of making an appointment, however, I learned about Tommi's UGLY AND UNDISCLOSED POLICY AGAINST PREGNANT MOTHERS!!! When I called to ask if there were any appointment dates available prior to May, as I am due then, the first thing the woman on the phone asked is if I am showing. When I replied that I am in fact very visibly pregnant, the woman went on to explain that she "didn't think it was appropriate" for a pregnant woman "in my condition" to take these pictures because they would require that I wear lingerie. In shock, I told the woman that I am very aware of what a Boudoir photo shoot entails that I feel comfortable wearing lingerie and taking those types of photos pregnant. Despite my clear and informed interest in proceeding with booking the shoot, the woman insisted that she didn't think it would be a good idea for me to make an appointment until after I was pregnant because the boudoir shoot typically includes "poses that involve lying on my back, or on my stomach, as well as leaning on a chair." While I appreciated her explanation of the physical requirements for the shoot, I did not believe the requirements she mentioned would preclude pregnant women from being photographed. When I asked if they might be able to accommodate my pregnancy with alternate poses such as standing or lying on my side rather than on my stomach, the woman told me "NO," and further explained that she wasn't confident I could handle the physical requirements of the photo shoot in the allotted time of an hour because they would require that I "get up and down." Unbelievable! Dismayed, I explained that I had purchased the package on Living Social and that the cancellation window had already passed. I certainly never expected to be denied an appointment because I am with child. The woman told me to explain the circumstances to Living Social and to get back to her if there is a problem with the cancellation!!! I have never experienced such HORRIBLE CUSTOMER TREATMENT and BLATANT DISCRIMINATION based on the fact that I am pregnant. Would I have been discriminated against in a similar fashion if I were instead disabled or obese? Who is Tommi Photography Studios to decide who can and cannot be photographed in lingerie!? They should have no problem making reasonable accommodations to provide a positive photography service to customers of all types. Instead of friendly service, I received uncalled-for judgment and discrimination. I certainly WON'T be back after I deliver, or ever. I ended up at Tommi Lifestyle boutique after purchasing a groupon for a boudior photo session. The Groupon included hair and makeup styling, the photo session, 5 retouched photos and 2 printed 8x10s. While I was nervous about it, I scheduled the appointment thinking it would make a nice wedding gift for my soon-to-be husband. I arrived at the salon five minutes before my scheduled appointment. I was impressed by the look of the place- it is modern, clean and attractively decorated. After checking in with the administrative assistant, I was sent up to the 2nd floor for styling. I ended up waiting about 15 minutes for my stylist, as she was outside smoking a cigarette. Upon arrival, she was rather abrasive. I was pretty nervous about the photo shoot at this point, and her gruff manner didn't help. I showed her a picture of the hair and makeup styling that I wanted, which she totally ignored. It turned out all right, but I was bothered that she did what she wanted to do. Additionally, she did not wash her hands after smoking and it was quite unpleasant to breath in her cigarrette stench as she put makeup on my face. After the styling was finished, I had to wait an additional 30 minutes for the photographer to end his previous appointment. At this point, they were 45 minutes behind schedule. I am really sensitve about punctuality so this bothered me. After the extra wait time, I was really nervous and begining to lose my nerve. Eventually someone took me to a different floor for my photo session. When I entered the room, Tommi - the photographer- was editing pictures from his last session. He told me to lay out all of the lingerie that I had brought whiel he finished his work. I was not expecting a male photographer based on the name and a conversation with a woman on the phone who said she would be there during my photo shoot. The woman I spoke to turned out to be Nicki, who was present in the salon but not during the shoot itself. Nevertheless, I followed his directions and waited a few more minutes. When he finished his editing, Tommi looked at my cothing options and began touching everything. I let him know that I wanted to start with one particular slip because I felt most comfortable in it. He refused and made me put on a men's white button down that he had in the studio. Such a cliche, and not something my fiance finds sexy. Tommi said it would help loosen me up, and then took several pictures. He showed me them immediately and was angry when I said I didn't like them. He then let me put on some of the items I had brought with me, but when I came out of the dressing room he told me I had "really big legs" and that he didn't think I looked good. I do think my legs are my problem area, but I wear a size 4. Even if I wore a size 24, this would have been inappropraite. Throughout the rest of the session he kept telling me that I needed to look more relaxed. The more he told me I didn't look good, the worse I felt so obviously I couldn't relax. In the end I did not end up choosing to take any of the pictures. I was so upset by the way I was treated throughout the day, that I cut the session short and left. I would not reccomend this experience to anyone who has even the slightest insecurity. I had hoped this would be an experience that would build my confidence before my wedding, but it made me feel awful to the point of tears. read more

If I could give a lower review I would!! I opened a yelp account just so I could leave a bad review for this place. Thats how bad of an experience its been. They said the whole session from start to finish would take 2-3 hours max. It took 4-5 hours!!! The make up artist did a horrible job. The only thing I liked about the experience was that the photographer was nice and made me feel comfortable. Its been over a month and I am still waiting on my CD and two printed photos. I wrote down my address and all information, paid for the shipping upfront, and did not receive any paperwork except for the receipt for the shipping cost. I trusted that I wouldn't have a problem but of course I'm kicking myself for that. Since then I have called twice (once every two weeks) to find out what is going on. Both times they asked me what pictures I chose. How am I supposed to remember the exact photo numbers??? You didn't give me any paperwork!! Both times they asked for my mailing address. That is a total of THREE times giving my home address... to the SAME PERSON (Nikki). Again and again. She (again) has promised it will be mailed within two days. I told her she needs to call me when they ship it, she said she would but I highly doubt it. I'll be calling on Monday again. I did the Boudoir shoot the first saturday in January. It is not Feb 6th. I was hoping I would have it in time for Valentines Day, but why do I feel like that's not going to happen??!!?? I'm starting to feel like its going to end up with me driving an hour back down there and demanding my stuff, plus a refund for the pointless shipping. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. read more

I felt my experience was similar to everyone else's: They are very bad with answering the phone, very slow to get prints and retouches done and you feel very rushed. I was also disappointed the poses and backdrops are all a set up to get you in and out and nothing is done that you might want to ask for. I saw all these great boudoir places in the city but decided to get a living social deal here and try it out- you end up paying the same as full price to get your CD which takes away from the deal entirely! I also was disappointed they didn't have any pin-up backdrops or props like all the other places you have to come with your outfits selected and ready to go or you wont get any good shots. I felt comfortable with Tommi and thought he was professional but I wouldn't go back I think other women might run a better boudoir experience and be more understanding. read more

Although I was happy with the shoot with Tommi, the customer service I received from Nikki was appalling. I had my shoot on 12/7/13 using the Living Social or Groupon deal and purchased the whole CD with 2 - 8x10 prints. Before leaving that night I confirmed that it would be okay that a friend who works in Philly could pick them up on my behalf. It says on the contract that they will contact you within 4 weeks for pick up status. I never heard anything so I called and left a message on 2/4/14 asking about the pick up...no response. Called again on 2/21 and left message....finally heard back and they said my friend could pick them up on 2/25 anytime after 1pm because they didn't have enough ink for the printer. She went at 5pm and they said they weren't ready and asked if she could wait or come back at 6:30pm. Instead of inconveniencing my friend again, I called on 2/27 and told Nikki she needed to mail it to me and waive the fee. She agreed, and told me she would send CD and prints, and email them to me as well. On 3/3 I received the CD, but no prints, and never received an email. Called that afternoon for an explanation of missing components. Called the main number and Nikki's number on 3/19 and both voicemail boxes were full. Same deal on 3/26. Emailed her on 3/26 as well....no response. I had forgotten about the prints until now, and when I called both numbers this morning, they both said they were out of service. Although I'm disappointed that I never received my prints, I'm happy that they are closed and hope that they lost a ton of money on this business. Even the responses on here show that they have no interest in satisfying customers or providing good service. Good riddance!!!! If anyone has figured out a way to hold them accountable for the goods they owe their customers, please let me know. read more

What an outstanding experience. My husband tried to get me to do a boudoir photo shoot for some time and I finally took the plunge. From even before we got there, Nikki had everything in order and well planned. Her communication was great. The stylists did a GREAT job on me and two girlfriends. They listened to what we wanted but gave good advice where warranted. Tommie himself was AWESOME. Made us relaxed and got all of us to be a bit more daring than we had planned. The photos look terrific and ( not that we needed it ;-)) the retouching was very natural. This was a great experience and I am so glad I did it there!!! read more

I had a boudior photo shoot done in january ... I was all ready to write a positive review bc I had a great shoot however, I STILL have not received my pictures. I talked to Nikki the end of February and she said they would be both emailed AND mailed. I have tried calling and keep getting voicemail with no phone call back. I saw on here now they are closed! I'm hoping this will get Nikki's attention so I can get my cd mailed since I paid for them!!! - they are a wedding gift for my soon to be husband at the end o the month!! If I ever get my photos I'd be more than happy to change my rating...until then, I'm extremely unhappy! read more
