I am very pleased. I had a hot water heater that busted after all this storm. It was hard for me to come up with the money to get it fixed so I've been here all this time with no water. And thanks to Tommie's plumbing. I have a hot water heater I have water. They ended up helping me in more ways and what they'll ever imagine. Plumber came out to inspect water heater and drain it. I also wanted him to check for any blockage in my sewer line. He said he had to come back the next day because he didn't have the camera required to inspect. He had turned off the circuit breaker to my water heater when Inspecting it but didn't turn it back on. Do not use Tommie's Plumbing! They will way over charge you and create more problems so that they can come to try to overcharge you again. Two plumbers came to my basement to snake a drain and the lead plumber was in basement less than sixty seconds before he started finding all kinds of problems with my new hot water heater that I had just gotten. I told him that I didn't need him there for my hot water heater. I was charged 287.23 to snake a clogged outside basement drain and the next day after running my dishwasher I had two different drains back upon me. These drains were not an issue until they snaked the first one. I was charged 981.21 for a pressure reducing valve and installation. I priced the very same Watts valve at Lowe's and it was 199.00. They also charged a 70 dollar service fee on top of their other nonsense. I spoke with their jerk manager and of course, he was justifying their pricing. I should have had my 3 year old grandson come out with some duct tape, bubble gum, and a coat hanger. I'm sure he would have done a better job! read more

I am sorry to have to post this review however I must do it in order to protect all the seniors out there. My husband and I are in our 70s and feel like this was an injustice. We because our septic system clogged at the end of March 2025. They came out and charged us a fee of $49 for coming out and just walked through the house my husband said and looked at the drains and said it's your septic and then just left. So we then called and rented a machine on April 4 after trying several things to clear the drains and had now been without a septic or showers or anything for days. The equipment was $263.40 to rent and then we paid $200 to a person to dig it out. They did so and it still wouldn't drain! So we called Tommies Plumbing back out! they sat down with us before doing anything at all and showed us paperwork amounting to almost $$13,645.32 worth of work they to do. We said no there's no way we can afford that. We are seniors and on a fixed income si they went down to $3554.75 and we explained to him that we don't need things replumbed and we did not need new commode's and new faucets and new sinks installed. then went down to $1980.94 and said that would include flange repair three packs of bio one to put in the drains, risers to put out there once it was filled back in so we could find again without having to dig everything out, he said they were fixing the bathroom, and for some they put a new faucet in which my faucet had never leaked. And said they the lavatory, which I had had no leaking inside was apparent, they ran cameras in the line they had listed that they would clean out with sewer machine, but they did not and they did pull and reset the commode and we had no leak leaking around it. It took about an hour trying to deal with them and finally we made a decision to do the $1980.94 because we have been without septic so long and showers are so long and all the other water and we just wanted something done. So finally he settled for that and and proceeded to work. They finally did get some drainage and left so we had the area filled back in and in a few days later the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink. We're stopping up again.It was my understanding that they did not run any snakes from the inside of the house and I understood that they only ran cameras . At this point we were so aggravated and felt like we've been advantage . We then called another entity to come out and unclog the kitchen sink the bathroom sink. He was able to run snakes and those and take some loose as well and put back on and get those drains moving clearly. We had tried to tell Tommies Plumbing that when they wer here but he wanted another $263 just to take the pipe loose and see if there was a clog in that sink and we just said NO to that and got the other entity ! We were done with Tommies Plumbing for good we thought. However, we had forgotten that on the had also included a maintenance program enrollment on this agreement. It stated that we could cancel the authorization in writing and merchant that we would like to terminate the account within 15 days of the next billing date. So when I they were out of my account, I called them and they didn't say anything about sending them anything in writing. They just said they couldn't cancel it unless I paid the remainder of the contract amount. them go ahead and debit it for a few months and then I decided I wanted to and I called them and they still would not agree to cancel it so I told I was gonna go to consumer services if they did not cancel, and they immediately canceled it and turned it over to collection. They were just interested in selling a $3,000 water heater. The element went out and I called the electric company where we bought it and they said the part is under warranty we just need a plumber to replace it. Tommie's gave us an estimate of $992! They wanted to do a bunch of other stuff. Want to charge over $400 for the element and labor. read more

Not the best if you are on a budget. Expensive. Scheduled, arrived and did the job. Minus one star for the cost. No itemized billing. Minus one star for claiming to be local, yet 45 min to an hour away. They have a building 15 minutes away but not dispatched from there. Tried to get a local plumber, got one that advertised they were. Jacob (plumber) happy with his work. Would not recommend the company. read more

I had a leaking toilet at my home and had Tommies come out to fix it. They gave me 3 quotes - the lowest was just under $1,000. The toilet itself (brand new) can be bought for just a few hundred. They also provided other quotes - one for a high end toilet that was almost $3,000! Needless to say, we paid their service fee and sent them on their way. We had the same problem on a different toilet (same model) a couple of years back and had a different plumber fix it - total charge was $200 (plus service call fee). Tommies may be good but I'll never know because I will NEVER EVER call them for anything again. Unbelievable. read more

The team replaced all pipes from the road to the home for my aunt, and the pipes were too heavy and caused a leak that caused her to have insurance replace all of the flooring flooded by the mistake. To get it fixed, the owner called her a pain in the ass for wanting them to fix it. read more

STAY AWAY FROM TOMMIES! I've used Tommies a couple times for some plumbing issues and all the times I have been let down. They came out to fix a broken line that ran from my septic to my drain fields, it took a couple days to do and they had to cut up my driveway a little after the whole job was done I wanted to know where my drain fields were located. Tommies apparently put a entirely new system in with drain fields without even asking me! They said I got a huge discount because I didn't have to pay for the new drain fields. I was skeptical that they did it right considering they left my yard a mess from the old broken pipes they crushed were all through my yard and huge rocks also scattered around. When I asked about all the garbage around the job site they said that was the best they could do to clean it up. Unfortunately not being able to watch this job be done I never saw them bust and attempt to fix my main water line to the house until now a couple months later. Apparently hiding mistakes they make is what there good at and making big decisions without the customer approval. The team was very courteous and friendly and I was very pleased with their work. the team of Chris and his partner, were very professional. I would highly recommend them. 1) They didn't show up on time (missed 9-1pm window without any notification) 2) they wouldn't do any work with a full house (I understand with Covid ... but policy should have been identified before having to pay $59 service fee... my kids have all had Covid), 3) their quote was very high (gotten same work done cheaper by competitors)... not only did they lose out on 5-6 different projects at my house, but I will encourage friends/relatives to avoid them as well read more

Hello, I had this company repair an outdoor spigot and insulate a couple feet of pipes. This was nearly $500. I wish I could have done this work myself because the materials were probably less than $100. The company is good about scheduling in a timely manner, and the employees are professional and nice people. This company just has a very high labor rate. They might respond, "well, you agreed to this rate." My response to this would be, "If I did not agree, then I would have had to try to find another company and pay another fee for someone to come out to diagnose and then to do the work. At this point, I had dealt with another plumber before calling this company and decided the work just needed to be done (couldn't wait any longer), so I just sucked it up and paid the high price." I would recommend to others to go ahead and do some research to see if you can find another company that does not charge as high of a rate for labor. If you don't mind paying a high rate, I can confirm that they will do good work. I will be calling a different plumber if I need work done in the future, and if anyone who reads this has a recommendation of a plumber with a lower labor rate, please reply. read more
