Tommy Bahama Outlet in the Tanger Mall is a definite must. It's been many years ago and I know if I was Yelping I did a review and photos. Just for kicks I'm doing the review and photos of my prized possession now. This Tommy Bahama Backpack has given me many years of use. It beautiful to look at and has three outside pockets. I used to take it to Target and Costco. Today I'm carrying some shoe donations to Fleet Feet. When I travel to Florida or Connecticut it's perfect for clothes and because it's cloth I can slide it under a seat. I also don't have the added weight of a heavy backpack in addition to the contents. I have had clothes and other accessories so I can safely say the Tommy Bahama merchandise holds up over time. Walking into this store, I feel like I just walked into my minds vacation. Picture for a second the Corona ads: The Beach The Sun A hut with a mosquito covered 4 poster bed You've now entered the Tommy Bahama store. They sell TB in Macy's at full price. $78 for a tee shirt? Are you insane?? Never. Come to the Tommy Bahama Outlet instead! I walked in yesterday, THE ENTIRE STORE IS 50% off?? I can not express the quality in this clothing. If you don't know the brand, Tommy Bahama is a Seattle-based manufacturer of casual, men's and women's sportswear and activewear, denim, swimwear, accessories, footwear and a complete home furnishings collection. They also make Rums! My number one reason why I love this clothing brand is the quality as well comfortable clothing. The shirts (I'm not a fan of the back panel shirts that have the TB logo) are relaxed and just scream summer / vacation. They promote a cool, layered look that makes me want to listen to Jimmy Buffet and have a margarita. With an umbrella in the glass. I said a friggin' umbrella!!! Now if you think this is a Men's store, guess again. They also have a great Women's selection! Dresses, Tops, Bathing suits. It's all here. Quality casual clothes, discounted at the Tanger Outlet Mall. (I love the Tanger Outlet Mall) What they don't sell is the furniture brand at this location as well as children's clothing. Why are their children in my Corona mind fantasy? Ok, back on topic. The TB brand also has a great fall clothing line with plaid shirts, pull over sweaters and sweatshirts as well as great jeans. You can find Tommy Bahama at Macy's, Neiman Marcus, Sak's Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor. I actually discovered the brand on vacation in Universal Studios and watched it grow into a huge label. Why not bypass all these stores and buy the brand at outlet pricing? I called corporate to locate a blouse that was told was sent to outlets. The size I ordered online ran large. The person I spoke to there was extremely helpful. She took time to look up the item and find locations that may have this item. There were only 3 that had them on record. The first store I call wanted to charge me full price, even though they were sending it to the outlet and had record of what I purchased it for within the 2 weeks. I called Riverhead outlet and spoke to Alexa, Carol and Jessica and they were very helpful. They located the item in their store. So polite and kind and very efficient. The other store did call me back and offered a small discount. I did let them know that I was able to purchase at the outlet price. Riverhead will be my go to store from now on. I recently shopped at Tommy Bahama Riverhead outlet in NY and once again had an outstanding experience finding what I wanted for the right price along with terrific service. I have been shopping at TB for a long time due to the quality and feel of your clothing. I have some shorts and pullovers that are 20 years old, and I can't bring myself to toss. They get better over time. Matching the quality of the clothing has been consistent outstanding customer care and service. The person (Chris) helping me, and my wife was fantastic. My husband needed shorts for an upcoming cruise, so we went to Tommy Bahama in Riverhead because he likes their selection and is familiar with their sizing. When we walked in and asked for assistance, Evan enthusiastically said "I'll help you!" And he did! In fact, many of the store's associates pitched in to help find coordinating shorts and polo shirts. When we checked out, Jillian M. was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed our conversation with her! The reason we go to brick and mortar is for service, and this retailer has it down pat! A great product, prompt and outstanding service, and a pleasant shopping environment.
