If you are considering NOT getting a professional wedding video, or just having a family member or friend film it on their home video camera - THINK ABOUT IT AGAIN. They were there well beforehand to set up, and my girlfriend had no idea who they were when we arrived. They captured the moment, then took additional photos with poses after I popped the question. The company charged me for several months and did not inform me I needed to pick a desk or I would need a key to use the facilities. I found out I needed that in July after I had already paid for June. I asked them to put my membership on hold until I could come in and pick a desk and get a key and they still charged me. They are all about money and not providing a great service experience or any experience at all. I talked with the owner about getting a key He said he would call me back but her never did. Check for a workspace elsewhere because they don't provide any real services and thy may not be a real company. I believe they are a shell company without any spaces available from my interactions with them. Either that or everything is already rented out and they can't provide me with a desk. I have rented and office before and I was informed of everything and I actually was able to use the office when I wanted. I now regret moving from where I was before and coming to this company so I could be closer to my home.

When I reached out, he was very quick to respond and was willing to work within my budget. The day of the photoshoot came and unfortunately circumstances made us (really) late but Dakota was very gracious and was still willing to work with us and provide a quality shoot. Not only that, but when extended family wanted to add another hour to the shoot, Dakota was more than willing to give us more time and even refused to charge us for the additional hour (which speaks to his character) (Of course we insisted on paying though). The shoot went very well and we were promised a 3 day turnaround and got our pictures within 3 days. Excellent photographer. Excellent communication skills. All around great service. Kirby Studios is a GEM!!…read more We were lucky to find this gem in Long Beach/Signal Hill, just off the 405. It's a family run facility, with 3 stages, 3 cycs, lighting grids, and everyone bent over backward to meet our needs and keep us happy. They have ample power, support rooms, MU room, green room, parking, staff, and amenities. Alex Kirby, the GM, helped get us extra offices, lifts, dumpsters, and even temporary mill space during the rain storms. We were there for 9 weeks, shooting a kids show for Apple TV+, and they could not have been more kind or helpful. We are sorry to see this project come to an end. It was a wonderful experience.
