I was lucky enough to be a bridesmaid in a wedding that Kathy shot last summer. I was able to see her work for 8+ hours that day and knew I really liked her at that point. Once I saw the gallery from that wedding, I knew I HAD to have her for my wedding. During our initial meeting with her, my husband knew exactly why I wanted her to shoot our wedding. Her passion and talent are unmatched! When she arrived on our big day, she immediately lit up the room and everyone could feel her energy. Her assistant Gabby and she got to work immediately taking detail photos, dress photos, getting ready photos. One of my bridesmaids commented "wow...she is really good" after about 5 minutes of seeing her work. She is incredibly creative and makes everyone feel special and beautiful! The ceremony, bridal party, and family pictures went so well! Kathy and Gabby were so organized and kept the family photos going on schedule. They were punctual, efficient, professional, and just a wonderful team to cover everything at our wedding. It worked out really well because Dipan was with the groomsmen as they were getting ready while Carissa was with us (the bride + bridesmaids), so that even though we had less than an hour for getting ready shots, they managed to get everything we needed. We had gotten married at Wayfarers, and if anyone knows about that venue, it is that the chapel has a lot of rules/time limits. Dipan is one of their recommended vendors, so we were grateful that he knew the rules well and knew exactly when/where to take the pictures so that we wouldn't miss a thing. Dipan was also great in telling us how to pose since we asked for + needed a lot of direction. He also has a very calming presence so that we didn't feel stressed or nervous while posing. All the photos turned out AMAZING and we really could not recognize ourselves because the photos were just so good and beautiful. I asked to redo the photos they charged me and additional fee PER IMAGE for retakes. They don't care about happy customers. They nickel and dime. I asked to sit on set while images were taken and they wanted to charge an additional fee. That is what set me off with anger. I expected my photos would be to my liking and they'd work with me to make sure the images were to my expectations. As someone who works in fashion industry these people are scammers. The worse possible "photo studio" you can go to. BEWARE and avoid this place at all costs. I complained about spacing and was told the photographers are human and not robots who can shoot the exact same angle twice. A joke of a photo studio and $375 wasted.
