Marie was so friendly to talk to during our first meeting together as well as the final meeting the week of our wedding to confirm the details and to make sure they'd capture all the moments that were important to us. On the wedding day, we had Marie and Gino on our team and we could not have asked for better videographers for us. They were both so professional, so friendly, so fun! A small detail but something I'll always remember was how cool Marie looked in her all black outfit with earpiece in place, almost like she was our secret service. She made Eric and the groomsmen feel so at ease when capturing footage of them while they were getting ready and got great footage of our cocktail area and reception room. It was also such a blast to sing and dance to 90s-2000s songs with Gino while filming all around the hotel on our wedding day. The turn around time for the highlights video was so quick, a little over 1 month from our wedding day! It was such a wonderful way to relive our wedding. We love that video so much and just know that the full length film is going to be incredible based on our highlights. He was also very considerate in suggesting for us to discuss with our coordinator if we truly needed 12 hours coverage, but we had to work around traditional auspicious times, so we had to stick to 12 hours of coverage. Due to the circumstances, John was very kind to offer us a discount. He also has an information sheet we filled out for him and his team to gauge an idea of what we wanted in our video. During the day of the wedding, John and his team arrived on time and captured all the events in the background. They did such a great job we did not felt much of their presence, but the videos captured were very thorough. We also ordered the complimentary raw footage as there was a promotion during the time. To receive the raw footage, John needs a hard drive. The hard drive we sent to their address from Amazon went missing - didn't happen with any previous payments. John was very thoughtful to send the raw footages with a new hard drive he bought.

I had originally inquired with Kelley when I got engaged in 2010. My husband & I were her 1st 2012…read moreinquiry actually (hey, you have to inquire early if you want to get the best pricing). Kelley was very responsive in getting back to me via email. When my husband and I first met Kelley & her husband Paul, we met them at a Starbucks in Costa Mesa. They were really nice and very easy going to talk to. They answered all of our questions. My husband was really against having a videographer at the wedding because he thought this was one expense that was not necessary. But after he spoke with them, he thought it would be okay to make allowance for one in our budget. After we met with them for about an hour, I knew that I would not feel awkward around them if they filmed our wedding. But as luck would have it, unfortunately they were not available on our wedding day (we had originally told them another date and they were available but once we found our venue, we were told our original date was not available and had to change it. With this new date change, they were not available). I was truly heart broken when Kelley told me that they were not available on our day to film and had to endure a frustrating search for another videographer team. And to be honest, I have seen so many videos (and I mean a TON) and none, absolutely NONE can compare to what 618 studios do, and at the price they had originally quoted us in 2010. Either the videos were really shaky at times and awkward panning of the camera or if it was nice and clean cut, the price was two times as much as what 618 was going to charge us. So even though my husband and I did not end up having Kelley & Paul film our wedding day, we still would gladly highly recommend them to any future bride & groom. (And yes every now and then I like to watch some of their recent videos because they do such an amazing job telling the story of 2 people starting their 1st new lives with each other) Their films are of high quality and nice and clean shots and transitions between scenes of the day (something I envy of all of these lucky brides & grooms who had them at their wedding). Honestly, I still wished that they had filmed our wedding because the videographer we hired is not nearly as awesome and our video wasn't nearly as clean cut and had some shaky shots (but was the next best thing for us, within our budget) and unnecessary camera panning.

Our trailer was ready 3 days after the wedding and we had our copy of the full film about 6 weeks later.
