BEST in local banking. I've been using the Bank of Castile since they opened their location in Chili back when I was in high school. I love the people there. The Greece location is just as wonderful, and is the location I frequent now as it is closer to home. Have been a Customer for more than 20 years- that will likely change as of today. They rolled out a new digital platform today. Was not able to make any transactions all weekend in anticipation of today- So needed to get into my online account today ! . Per work requirement- was unable to sign in today at my work place- had to wait until I got Home. Attempted to sign on at 5 : 15 PM -Followed the instructions to the letter only to discover there was an issue with my account that required a customer service rep. Waited on hold for 10 mins only to discover customer service was closed. Not sure when I will be able to straighten this out...looking into a different bank. How do you roll out a major change to your digital platform and not have anyone answering calls after 5 pm??- Very Poor Customer Service !! read more

Longevity as a customer means nothing to this "small town bank". Well over 20 years relationship, and I'm disposable. Issue with insuring my home from rental to homeowners again. Not one employee went to bat to try, and negotiate a resolve with third party insurance company on my behalf. almost Simultaneously issue with my business banking at another branch with an Unknowledgeable "manager", and using nearly paid off house as collateral for biz loan while renter was still there. Huge missed opportunity to advance my business due to this "mistake". Since I'm irrelevant as a customer with little funds once I sell the home I've referenced my big funds will not go to this bank, tho I'm sure it still doesn't matter. They closed our branch & assured us we would still have ATM & mobile banking - they are selling the branch with ATM so that was not true and then they limit how much you can deposit with a mobile bank application. read more

Tellers are nice, managers can be a little mean sometimes. I had this bank for 12 years and honestly was treated as i was a customer for 5 minutes at times. There fees are crazy and kept going up, and i am a loyal 12 year customer and have excellent credit, hello? So this is why i switched. After i 'closed' my account, they said something went through and we have to charge you a 435 overdraft fee, i am like 'no i dont' think so', i closed my account, so why is something going through?? DUH they just try to get every dime of your money, i didn't appreciate that. After talking with manager she said i didn't have to pay the $35, that's what i thought :) read more
