My daughter in law is going to nursing school OBU. She is about to graduate and works 12 hrs shift with school. She has no time and is under alot of stress, she graduates in a week. I found Tom after calling a bunch of mechanics with all kinds of excuses, but Tom said yes. Tom was 30 minutes away from the location and said he could do it the following day, while my daughter-in- law was working. I explained to Tom our problem, a leaky partially removed, remote oil filter, done twice by another mechanic and still was not removed. I asked Tom to remove it and change the oil. Tom sent me this picture at 5:30 am Las Vegas time, the following day! Hello, who does this?!?!? Amazing. My daughter in law's husband, is in Northfork, VA on a military ship at sea and was having a hard time making this happen. I was on a road trip from Tennessee to New Mexico. 10:30am I had just got fuel at Love's in Seminole OK... was heading down the freeway on ramp to I-40 west. when I heard a loud noise and my truck started sputtering. I called AAA for roadside assistance. they said it could be til 5pm for a tow to arrive to tow me 67 miles to a mechanic. I'm thinking about where will I stay the night, will the mechanic shop be open when I arrive, what am I going to do with the private items I have in the truck, etc. I took a gamble and Googled mechanics near me. I am a Mobile Mechanic. I had to go back over this guys work. He can even simply change a transmission tail seal properly. He literally beat it in with a hammer. Couldnt even install the seal in flush. Customer called me due to his trans still leaking. Tom told the customer his trans pan was leaking and rear diff cover was leaking. What I found was an improperly installed trans seal and a badly diagnosed rear end leak. I replaced his screw up work and replaced rear diff pinion seal. All is fixed. Customer also stated that he worked on his daughters car three times and now the car needs a new motor. All due to hitting a deer at low speed. Yeah, Ok!
