Their capabilities and expertise are very limited at this shop. I took my van in for stability trac light and kept saying service stabilatrac system. It's almost 1000 dollars later. Same light saying same thing.they say they don't know what's wrong with it and how much money I have to keep giving them why they try to figure out what is wrong with it. Right, like I am just some kind of money tree that I can afford to just keep paying them when they don't know what's wrong or how much it is going to cost. Unless you want to throw your money away. I would take my vehicle to a more knowledgeable and more experienced shop next time. I will definitely never use this shop again. read more

Excellent people! I was fortunate to set up an appointment a week out and I had expected to spend $$$$ on a new Air conditioner unit but they fixed the ac for under 250$. We have been going here fora few years and they have always been fair and honest, but today they really came through. I specifically came to Toms truck repair because they are a Napa auto certified shop. I'm a certified mechanic myself and this is who I trust if I don't have the time to do my own repairs. Brought my pickup truck in for a simple clutch repair due to a bad slave cylinder. The owner came out and stated I would also need a new clutch seems how they would need to pull the transmission out to replace the cylinder, I stated that would be OK with me as long as they showed me the condition of the clutch plate. The next day the shop sent pictures of the clutch condition and I gave them the ok for complete replacement. They stated they recalled my reasoning for coming to their shop because of its reputation for the NAPA auto certification and it would be a extra day until a Napa brand clutch kit was shipped in. The following day I sent a text first thing and asked them to also change the oil in the transmission while It was there. They responded please call as soon as possible, after calling I was told I have a worn out crank shaft due to a bad pilot bearing. Knowing what I know about these types of things I got a second opinion just to make sure, from a well trusted transmission shop nearby and they to said in all their years of business they have never heard of such a thing. What it boils down to was they either were is not using the proper bearing for replacement or had no experience or simply was trying to swindle me out of a warranty. In the end I walked out paying full price for the job and was given a invoice receipt stating that NONE of the work was going to be warranted. Also the shop receives parts from O'Reilly's even though it's a NAPA shop, this could have something to do with it. This is the first and the very last visit I will make to Toms truck repair. read more

The generator wouldn't start so I had to leave it a extra day. It was a battery issue. They said because they didn't find it there was no cost to me and they didn't charge me for a new battery.
