After the first acupuncture treatment I felt immediate relief. My regular doctors wanted to prescribe muscle relaxers and pain medication to treat me. I wanted an alternative method to treat the causes rather than symptoms. Dr. Li provided exactly that! Dr. Li is a humble, honest, and talented doctor. His care for patients is evident and I felt very comfortable and peaceful in his presence. From our first consultation I knew right away I was in the right office with the right medical professional. His bedside manner is caring and empathetic. I will continue to visit Dr. Li as I feel very blessed to have found comfort and relief during these stressful times. His rates are unbeatable and according to his level of experience and education he could be charging a lot more. Please do yourself a favor and visit his website and read for yourself about Dr. Li. His story is amazing from Kenya to Vietnam he has traveled the world to help others. https://www.leeherbs.com/about

This review is way overdue. A year ago, I developed horrible skin issues. Knowing most prescription…read moremedications have side effects, I opted for all OTC ointments I can find, and none helped. Then, looking at local reviews on Yelp, I stumbled on Lee's Herbs Acupuncture. Dr. Li was prompted in returning my initial phone call to discuss my symptoms and I was able to set up an appointment next day. Upon examining my skin, it was determined I have allergies to certain food I eat. My work-related stress level was also a main contributor to the severity of my problems. With no other alternatives, I decided to try acupuncture and drink Chinese herbal tea for the first time. I took the opportunity of my weekly acupuncture sessions to relax and clear my mind. Drinking the herbal tea daily, on the other hand, was not a pleasant experience even though it helped my issues tremendously. By adding honey as Dr. Li suggested made it bearable. In addition to giving up seafood and spicy foods, I also started using baby shampoo/lotion since most adult beauty products contain harmful chemicals. Five months after my treatment, I am happy to say the symptoms have cleared and I am better at managing my stress level. Dr. Li has an amicable bedside manner. I love the fact that he is patient and willing to listen. Never once did I feel rushed. After the treatments I received, I understand why people from out of state to seek his help. I referred two of my friends to Dr. Li. They are still under his care. I must mention Dr. Li does not working with any insurance company since none will accept his claims. Therefore, the cost may be high depending on the treatment. As of Fall of 2021, he no longer has Sunday appointments. The office is located in a busy commercial/residential area. Street parking is the only option. Keep that in mind when booking your appointment.

That said, I was turned away from an appointment because after all these years, the front desk refused to let me begin my session before reverifying my insurance online. I was told it would take 5 minutes, and after 15 I mentioned I was on my lunch break and running out of time, and was then told reverification takes days. Great. I waited around for nothing. This was never an issue on return visits in 2021, or 2022. You can literally call the number on the back of my insurance card and verify coverage immediately. I could even pay the full price for the session, and after verification use the credits for future visits. Instead, I was refused service. Great stress reliever. The best is during my wait I asked for help with an overbilling and they promised to follow up by email. The email confirming the overcharge was addressed to the wrong name. Keep your pettiness. I'll go elsewhere.

I felt crippled and didn't want to take any Western medicine like Xanax or Ambien. I wanted a natural approach. Fortunately, Victoria and her team came to my rescue. I've been visiting her on a weekly basis ever since, and I now feel like my old, obnoxious, loud self. Your initial visit will be close to 90 minutes long, so I encourage you to budget out the time. You'll have to complete some forms before the acupuncturist sits down with you for the consultation. They'll take your pulses, look at your tongue and ask some pretty strange questions. Eastern medicine has a completely different perspective on how the body functions. However, people have been resorting to acupuncture for all sorts of ailments for thousands of years. There must be some truth to it, right? Your comfort is the staff's number one priority. They'll inform you what they're poking throughout the entire visit and ensure you're not in any pain. If needles aren't your thing, there's other options too! Everyone reacts to acupuncture differently. If you don't feel like a whole lot of improvement after your first visit, don't give up! It could take a couple sessions before you notice a difference. The staff will also prescribe some natural herbs that come in the form of pills and teas. There might be other varieties, but I haven't tried them. There's also a returning customer promotion. For every three consecutive weekly visits, you'll get the fourth free! You might also want to ask about their referral program. At any rate, I feel awesome. I'll see you next week guys!
