Eventually someone answered my email and canceled my membership. What they really did was sandbag me from canceling until they stole my money. They have admitted "their policies were terrible" but have "improved" but I'm currently going back and forth with someone over email who has yet to give me their name saying there is nothing they can do. Stonewalling me. "They can't do anything". YOU ARE A BUSINESS. You have the ability to work with customers and provide a refund. But you choose not to. I'm not going away. Going to corporate. Stay away.

The pods are dumb and makes me wonder what would happen in an emergency because you have to scan to get in and scan to get out. They also increased my monthly membership fee with no notice which seems incredibly sketchy. I do not like or recommend this chain.

Staff seems to be friendly but since I don't work out at this location on a regular basis I can't comment on that. The cycling room is big and I liked the fact that that each row of bikes is in a different level (similar to a theater) which allows whoever is sitting towards the back to have a better view of the instructor. My complaint is that the cycling instructor wasn't very good with 0 enthusiasm. There were no hills, sprints and other standard spinning activities. All the instructor kept a saying was "add 2 gears, remove 2 gears, stand up, sit down". Just multiply this by 20 and that was basically the whole class. My membership allows me to access all LA Fitness locations in NJ and I've been to at least 5 of them to take spinning classes and this was definitely the worst class.

We had a very disturbing incident at this location today involving the manager Sha. My 13 year old…read moreson was chased by this manager around the locker room for the offense of accidentally spilling some water from the water fountain onto the floor. This grown man wore only underwear as he berated and chased my terrified son around the locker room. When my husband went to the gym to discuss the incident with Sha, he was indignant and belligerent telling my husband that he was the manager and could do "whatever he wanted to do" including chase a minor around a locker room nearly naked. Needless to say, the police were called and a formal report has been filed. Crunch fitness: this man is an absolute liability to your business and we are considering all available options at this point to ensure accountability.
