On 6/20/25, I attended the event. My friend and I entered through the back door from the parking lot and were not told where to go or where to sign in. Our instructor Nic, noticed us in the hallway and showed us where to gather our supplies. Class was good and Nic was great. After class, my friend Ruth was speaking with a gentleman at the front desk. He was asking for her information and trying to charge her for another ticket. We explained that I had already purchased the 2 tickets and showed him the email receipt. We explained that Alex, who I had registered online could not attend last minute so Ruth replaced her. He told us it was ok and that we could go. We would not have left if he told us it was not ok to leave. The next day, I checked my bank account and saw a charge from JaiPure for $36.35. I disputed this with the bank immediately as I assumed it was a mistake. On 7/3/25, I received an email from the studio asking why I disputed the charge. I explained the situation with Ruth and confirmed Alex did not attend. This email was ignored and the dispute was denied. I emailed repeatedly after that requesting a refund to my card and explaining that we were told we could leave the night of the event. The studio refused to hear it. After weeks of arguing, they offered a credit to the studio. I told them this was not acceptable and that I wanted a refund as only 2 people attended the event and 2 tickets had already been paid for. I also argued that my card shouldn't have been on file or used without permission. On 7/30/25, more than a month after the event, my card was refunded $35 (not $36.35). This was a terrible, stressful, time consuming experience that could have been completely avoided if the studio took responsibility for their employee from the start.

A yoga studio should be a place where people come to find peace, serenity, and positive energy, but unfortunately that was not the atmosphere I encountered. The negative energy at the front desk completely overshadowed what should have been a relaxing experience. To be fair, my instructor, David, was fantastic. He was professional, knowledgeable, and created a wonderful class environment. The instructors appear to genuinely care about their students and the quality of their teaching. What made the experience even more concerning was that, after mentioning my interaction, several people I spoke with at the studio indicated that they had experienced similar behavior from the front desk staff member. One person even commented that while the instructors are amazing, the individual at the front desk often comes across as rude and brings negative energy into the space. Hearing that made me feel that my experience may not have been an isolated incident. Afterward, I attempted to address my concerns privately before posting a public review. I reached out directly and also sent a message through social media in hopes of speaking with ownership or management. Unfortunately, my concerns were not addressed, and my attempt to have a professional conversation was unsuccessful. When I tried to follow up, I was met with the same dismissive attitude that caused the issue in the first place. As someone who regularly visits and reviews businesses, I understand that everyone can have a bad day. However, when guests are repeatedly met with hostility, dismissiveness, or condescension, it reflects poorly on the business as a whole. Customer service matters, especially in a wellness space where people are specifically seeking a positive and supportive environment. My best friend and I are from the area, and we were genuinely excited to support a local business. Unfortunately, the experience left us feeling unwelcome rather than valued as customers. While David's class was excellent and deserves recognition, the front desk experience left a lasting negative impression that management should take seriously. A yoga studio's atmosphere begins the moment someone walks through the door. I hope ownership takes steps to address these concerns so that future guests can experience the sense of peace and community that a yoga practice is meant to provide.

I used to attend hot/warm/non hot yoga & cardio sculpt classes with co-owner Rebecca Frezza and many other talented instructors pre-Covid.. Like so many, the community was heartbroken when they had to close up back in 2020, BUT: Rebecca, Ilene, Sabratha & Beth have teamed up to do the incredible: pivot and begin again. I cannot imagine the strength of character and creativity it takes to rebuild such a unique community, but these fantastic people are doing it! Alas after enduring incredibly, Zura Bloom reopened right by the Food Town near 6 Points. Their new space is a haven from the outside world: walk up the stairs to the 2nd floor to see that the walls are decorated with John Atura's original paintings, vaulted ceilings and bar studio mirrors and large windows that allow for streaming morning sunlight while maintaining the privacy of those in class. When I step inside the studio.. my mind is put at ease, and I feel welcome. I almost wish I could just hang out at the studio when working remotely just to enJoy the atmosphere some more. There are showers, bathrooms & lovely lavender oil infused towels in the mini fridge to cool down post class. The instructors genuinely care about the people that come to classes, and this is not the kind of place where you will accidentally get hurt doing something that's not right for your body, i.e. classes or "brands" that push you to the point of improper form. Zura welcomes all students of all ages and ability levels, and the instructors are knowledgeable about body mechanics, music and dance, teaching pedagogies and the various philosophies associated with different styles of yoga. I highly recommend any person in search of exercise, health or a bit of peace to attend. Some of my favorite classes are for mindfulness, building strength & excellent instrumental *music curation/choreography* are: - Rebecca's 2:30pm Sat. (Rhthym & Fire*) - Dante's anytime / any day ! (Fusion*) - John's 5pm Friday - Cassie's Hot 26 - Tabitha's* Hot 26 * Many classes (mainly Hot 26) are silent to help students focus, meditate & connect with their breathing, but a few classes use instrumental/percussion & light Sanskrit vocal based playlists that are extremely well paired to movements. This is probably the best one in terms of the actual practice. The studio is located in a slightly busy street. There is a municipal parking lot behind the studio, so make sure you bring change for the meter (which is free after 6). I used to come to the 6pm classes so it was great. I am really bad with names so I do not remember the name of the instructor. She was a young instructor who really pushed you to try new things. Also, on the other hand, she allowed people to try something less challenging in case some pose seemed too much for them. The classes were small which for me is very important. I am relatively new to yoga so I know that it is important to learn the proper way to perform certain poses and I think a big class is hard to manage in the sense of a one-to-one approach. I left this studio so energized and having sweat A LOT! Which I actually enjoyed. The room is slightly heated. Make sure you bring water. Also, I recommend bringing your own mat. They provide some in the studio but...they are a bit too thin for my taste. The studio is a bit far from me. It is a good 30 minute drive (without traffic) which is the only con for me. I would really enjoy coming here again. I actually have thought about it so I recommend it to anyone interested in getting a great workout and getting some relaxation at the same time! She continues to be outwardly inconsiderate to her clients and her teachers. She openly spoke to many people about how she canceled a very successful teacher (who needed the job) because that teacher had clients that she deemed "too privileged." Would you want a business owner speaking poorly about you if you were supporting her business? This is the kind of person that Grace is. Ask anyone.

The entire biz looks great (front/store, the studio itself, the locker room in back).  It's clean and inviting and you can tell the entire staff cares about the place. I love that the class doesn't face the mirrors for class (the absolute worst) and every few feet there's the 'STUFF' bucket (napkins, tissues, cleaning solution for your mat) which is such a great 'cherry on top' that I never saw in other yoga studios I've been to. Pricing is solid (I was originally lured here through a deal over at Groupon). To date I've bounced between four different classes/levels/instructors.  Each class was unique and challenging and every teacher has been welcoming, supportive and a total pro. The studio is right by a busy intersection - metered parking on the street (I believe an hour max) and a municipal lot behind the studio (metered till 6pm, I think) for more than one hour. Even if I'm officially long in the tooth and nowadays Child's Pose and Shavasana are more my jam instead of Bhairavasana or Eka Hasta Vrksasanav - I'm just glad to have found a cool place to get on the mat and zen out for a spell.  (Will I ever advance up to their 'P3' hot yoga class?  Not even with some help from Ganapati and Hanuman!)

I have completed 3 sessions, and each time, I am amazed at how great my mind, body, and soul feels. I attended a 8:15 session, and the sweat, that you release, along with the stretching was very good for my achy body. I could not keep up with the pace as a newbie, but Mike is so kind to let you go at your own pace. I recommend bringing a beach towel to line your yoga mat because, you will slip, and slide from all the sweat you release. Also bring a gallon of water, you will need the hydration. I love at the end of class, Mike gives a cold towel that has soaked in eucalyptus. After an intense work out you feel like the angels of earth has opened up the sky's; that's really how good the cool wet towel feels. My favorite part is at the end of the class, there is a awesome meditation. I love how it clears all the unimportant stuff in your head space. I walked in with things on my mind. I walked out feeling love for humanity, peace, happiness, and more aligned with my inner true self. Sleep- Oh my, I got the best sleep of my life. I normally do magnesium flakes in a hot bath. But hot yoga gave me the best sleep of my life (I repeat) I believe in going to bed in happy, peaceful state. And this is my new go to for an intense work out, sweat out all the junk, hydrate like crazy, and sleep better than anything in this world. This is the cure for insomnia! Since it was a beginner class it was on the easy side, but really helped me with my form, which sometimes you forget when going through fast flows. The place seemed more geared towards kids with how it was decorated and overall energy I got from the place, but it was perfectly fine for adults as well. If I had a child I would definitely take classes with them here.
