The busy body in me started swapping parts with little improvement. After coming to my senses, I reached out to Joe at Perfect Pages via his website. He was very informative and patient as I explained my diagnostic process. My printer works great now and I am very happy. Highly recommend these folks.

I brought in my Brother printer which was not reading the ink that I had bought. It was official…read moreink from Amazon, but I kept getting an error message. Finally, I decided to take it in. They charged me $45 to look at it. When I got it back, they charged $95 for labor. What did they do? They ordered new ink, and wiped down the inside. Overall I paid $130+ for him to buy new ink, wipe down the back, and put it in. An honest local, repair business (I had one nearby when I lived in Woodland Hills), wouldn't bilk you for every penny. They'd tell you what the problem was, and do the right thing when charging for the actual labor/effort so that you'd want to go back. This business did the exact opposite. They also promised me an invoice which was never presented to me or sent to me. They knew exactly what they were doing, which is why it felt so awkward when I went to pick it up. I know times are tough. And they were never rude to me. But this is no way to run a business. I live nearby but I will never do business with them. I am a teacher, who immediately got an office job for the summer, lacking in time and money (operating hours are tough here too) and they were laughing their way to the bank with me. Literally. The guy laughed on the phone when I told him I'd come in to pick it up. They kept suggesting "send the old ink back" as if to suggest this could offset the EXTREMELY HIGH LABOR COSTS they were charging me. Again, not a way to treat customers (nor could I sent it back, it's literally open ink cartridges from weeks ago). Very dishonest. DO NOT go here.

5 stars When it…read morecomes to copiers, Universal Office Copiers does it all. They provide copier/copy machine sales, services, repairs, leases, and supplies. This review is really about the owner of the shop, Edmond Stepanyan. I've known Ed and have been utilizing his services for the past three years. I originally met Ed through an Orange County copier shop where I bought my first refurbished commercial Canon Color Copier, the ImageRunner C3200. Ed would come to my office to service my machine per the servicing program I purchased. He was consistently punctual and always gave me creative options when a repair was needed outside my warranty. When Ed left the Orange County copy shop and joined a shop in LA, I followed him. He recently left that company and opened up his own copier store. I followed him again and refuse to go elsewhere unless he leaves the industry altogether. The two reasons why I've been a loyal customer of Ed and what you'll come to learn and appreciate about him is his honesty and professionalism. For those two reasons alone, I wouldn't mind paying a premium but Ed likes to defy the very laws of nature because his prices have always been lower than his competitors. I don't understand how this is possible but I'm definitely not complaining. Ed's pricing and services are so extraordinary I've purchased a second Canon color copier from him yesterday. If you need to purchase, lease, service, or repair your copier, make sure you call Ed as part of your due diligence. If you need a repair estimate, you'll have to pay Ed to come out for an opinion but this is standard with all copier shops. Ed will tell you what all your possible options are and that alone is worth the price to have him come out. With the amount of money you'll be saving and the level of service you'll get in return, you can thank me for introducing Ed to you by buying me a meal or a drink. You're welcome in advance Yelpers.

On the second, the first…read moretoner cartridge created very light images, but, it was livable (really, just not worth the hassle of a return). Now, installing the second cartridge in our other Canon 128, it doesn't fit whatsoever. Holding it alongside the other cartridge from the original order, it is visibly different, as if some bozo slapped a C 128 sticker on a random toner. I could slap a C 128 sticker on my cat, but that doesn't mean I can just cram him in my printer and expect great-looking images, tempting though it may be. On the very own website, heading to the purported customer service section, entering in an inquiry leads you to: "The page you requested was not found" Sadly, it seems customer service at TonerGreen is absolutely non-existent. Cheaper refurbished toners sure do sound like a nice idea, but, if they don't work (or even fit), then no price is worth complete junk.
