Rude and arrogant is an understatement: I've been buying printers and toner from Jeff, the owner of California Business Systems for years. Today I was shocked (not really) at his abusive and normal defensive attitude towards my office manager. One of our printers was making a loud noise while printing. He came out to look at it on 12/27(several days after he promised) and said there was nothing wrong with the printer. He proceeded to service the machine. Once he started servicing the machine he noticed we were using generic printer cartridges. He said we should be using factory cartridges. Keep in mind he sells generic ink cartridges which we used in the past but would always leave yellow or blue splotches on the copies. We followed his advised and installed factory cartridges and the noise is still there. I instructed my office manager to call him this morning to please come look at it again. He gave her an earful bashing me and said "I don't want to come out there." I am appalled that someone that I've purchased numerous printers and ink over the years would be so defensive and abusive towards me and my office manager. Not to mention the generic toners he sold us in the past always splotched and were garbage but I always supported him and paid him hard earned money regardless. Shame on me. He didn't want to hear his products were substandard and again became defensive and rude. So now I'm stuck with a loud obnoxious printer that the OWNER of the company refuses to fix. Oh and the emails I have saved over the years of his abusive attitude are entertaining. I could start a blog. Anyway I'm done. I've taken all the condescending verbal abuse and lack of accountability I can muster. read more

I am sold by this honest and hard working establishment. If you're in the market for a printer, fax, copier or all-in-one, then this is your spot. If you need servicing on any of those items, then again, this is your spot. I had a Canon all-in-one system that needed repair. It was just a low end model. They looked at it and said $50 for service, repair and cleaning. It took them just 2 business days to complete the job. I got my machine back better than I had it; working perfectly. They have 2 locations in the Southbay area (Gardena & Long Beach). If you go to the Long Beach office and they're not there, just give them a call and they will arrange to meet you. I'm glad that there is a reputable copier service center in Long Beach. Now I know that I can get my equipment serviced instead of having to buy an entirely new system. Trust me with my 600+ reviews. I'm so happy I found Jeff and California Business Systems. He came in to evaluate a AOI laser printer I had. Couldn't find anyone that would fix it, and Staples, Office Depot, etc, had no recommendations as to who I could use. Luckily I found Jeff. He showed up at my office the same day and cleaned the printer. The document feeder still wasn't working, so he said he'd need to take it back to his office, order some parts, and hopefully that would work. Two days later I was getting ready to call him to see if I could pick up the printer to use while he was waiting for the parts, and in he walks with the fixed printer. It's working like new now. He also installed out behemoth printer on to the network, and got all necessary drivers installed. Very reasonable too.
