I have literally never written a bad review about any company before but feel it is absolutely necessary to warn people of this company's dishonest tactics to scam their customers. I hired Repinstech through thumbtack to diagnose an issue where my washing machine's drum was not balanced and made a lot of noise due to vibration on spin mode. The tech that came out quickly looked at the washing machine and told me three parts with the motor needed to be replaced. I wasn't even sure how he diagnosed that with how quickly he looked at the appliance. Total cost of the repairs was about $500. Luckily I hired another company to give me a second opinion. This tech for this other company opened up the front panel of the washing machine and showed me the real problem, one of the struts holding up the drum was broken in half. This was clearly the issue and made sense. He also showed me the motor and showed me it was in perfect working condition. Had I spent $500 to replace those parts, not only would I have replaced something that wasn't broken, I would still have had the broken strut and would have been asked to spend more money. This was clearly an attempt to scam me by Repinstech. The worst part is that before jumping to conclusions, I opened a resolution case through thumbtack to try and address the issue directly with Marc Tollison. His responses were all lies about what happened and he refused to right the situation by providing a refund for a complete misdiagnosis. He made zero attempts to right a really terrible situation. Repinstech is clearly out to scam anyone who hires them. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS COMPANY!

We went in & I told the tech the problems that we were having , that it kept going on & off only that morning & that it was getting hot at the area where the battery is. Being a master electrician & working on UPS systems I knew it was the battery. I also know you can't screw up the computer buy changing the battery.The tech wanted to do testing on it & I told him it was the battery to just change it. He said he would deduct the testing from the quoted price. He turned on the iPad & it came on no problems. It was losing charge quickly so again it was the battery. He said he would run a movie on it to see how it does so I said ok. The next day he called & left a message that they do not work on that iPad model, I called back & he told me it was because of the screen. I went to pick it up & what he did was killed the battery. He ran the movie on it & drained the battery completely. Now I can't access anything on it because it will not take a charge. The dumbest thing about the whole situation was I told him it was a iPad 2nd gen (he should've known then they don't work on them)& also he could have looked up the model number & serial number that was on the back of the iPad to confirm it. But I guess these tech's aren't that smart & shouldn't be working on electronic equipment. I know apple doesn't repair older models just to get you to buy new ones. But you can buy other brands of batteries that will work. This was a dick move they did screwing up our iPad & then claiming they don't work on that model. This is a unprofessional company

I have been working with Boring Business Systems now going on two months now and have found Boring's culture among the best in the business. It is a positive place to work, and everyone goes to great lengths to include you in all their events. The president of the company has an open-door policy, the service manager is always ready to get you the help you need, and the sales staff are right there to assist in all facilitations to help with the customer's needs. The contracts and logistics departments work tirelessly with the technicians to once again take care of the client and customer. From a technician standpoint, Boring goes out of its way to facilitate all the needs of its clients and customers, as well as its technicians. In a working environment, I have experienced a most positive and enjoyable place to work. I recommend Boring as a place to work and do business with.
