Thom was amazing at my contact exams and finding me the right fit I enjoyed the office very much. This year, they no longer accept vision insurance and I do not feel like their team was very prepared to assist their patients with this change. I have spoken to finance people multiple times to attempt get records to submit out of network to my vision insurance. The finance lady does not follow up and is rude like she can't be bothered. The new guy in the vision area could give 2 f*cks about you and is happy to tell you "just take your prescription anywhere and have it filled". He can't be bothered. I am so frustrated because I had an exam and my eyes take a long time to adjust back after having them dilated. It's a whole day event that I need transportation from. The team has provided me nothing in terms of codes or exam notes to provide to my insurance for coverage after I continue to ask, So, now, I likely have to have another exam with a new doctor/office in network to get anywhere and finally get contact lenses. What a waste.

I specifically asked about Medicaid coverage and extra fees ahead of time, and nothing was said. Because I wasn't prepared for that charge, they wouldn't release my contact prescription. On top of that, the front desk woman, Barbara, was rude and dismissive when I questioned it. It's a shame because the doctor truly was great, but the poor communication and bad attitude at checkout ruined an otherwise good visit. Make sure you double-check all costs before going in.

They are unwilling to work with you in anyway. I gave them another alternative to switch out to another pair of glasses and she initially indicated that could be an option and then said "-actually no." Mind you that this is not a $100 pair of glasses, it's actually over $500. I should have trusted my gut when they were trying to sell so hard on the glasses they offered. I bought one pair and when I came to get them and get them adjusted, I was pushed to buy another cheap pair. This is not an honest business. I had told her that if there's not resolution to this I am going to write an honest and truthful review so others know and her response was "sure go ahead." And of course that would be what she responded with, they already took $600+ from me.

The office space had lots of natural light with big windows & plenty of parking. The receptionist was friendly & helpful. I've seen both Dr. Pennington MD (Ophthalmologist) & Dr. Rocken OD (Optometrist). Dr.P handles surgeries & specializes in LASIK, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration & Diabetic Eye treatments just to name a few. Dr. Rocken focuses on personalized eye health & care, like eye exams & treating eye problems. Dr. Rocken is fluent in English & Spanish too. Both doctors were awesome & easy to talk to. They were timely & explained everything clearly as well.
