A lot of cleaning services have mostly sketchy, fake-looking reviews, so even though i am a lapsed Elite who got married and bought a condo and no longer goes out anywhere like, ever, and thus has precious little to contribure anymore, i wanted to make sure to get on here and sing Tony and Helen's praises. They're very friendly and exceptionally conscientious, as illustrated by the following: - They read my mind and let me know they're available right around when i realize i've forgotten to contact them. - They are extremely diligent, down to cleaning appliances, tidying furniture, or making a bed, in the event we've been good enough to make it possible to get at any of these. - i still have no idea how they get my kitchen sink so shiny. - They somehow get my stupid red kitchen floor (like the tiles in a 1980's McDonald's, but dirtier, usually) clean. - They're very good about working around my scaredy cat and her justifiable fear of strange humans and vacuum cleaners. - Sometimes they just say hello and wish you a good holiday. I talked with Raph through text from Tony and Helen cleaning and we tried to plan a day and he and I talked of a certain time on a certain day and said he will send me confirmation when he gets it. He never responded again after countless texts, it's been over a week at this point and less than a day til the supposed cleaning and now the texts aren't sending at all. I called the service as well and still no response. Can't see myself looking into this cleaning service again. read more

My roommates and I are so grateful and appreciative of Helen and her team's hard work. You might be wary of a crew that only has 5 star ratings, but read on and give them a try! When I moved into my apartment in Allston, it was the most horrendous, nightmarish thing I've ever seen: dust piles with bits of trash in them, soap scum everywhere in the bathroom, dirt behind the toilets, crust and rotten food in the fridge... you get the idea. I messaged Tony and Helen on Yelp to get a quote for our 4 bed, 1.5 bath apartment, and Helen responded within minutes of my request, immediately providing a phone number to text her. We set up a cleaning for two days later. Helen brought a friendly team of 3 total for our apartment, arriving 30 minutes early. After working hard for 3.5 hours, they'd finished, and I was amazed. Dirty piles of dishes in the sink were gone and replaced by a gleaming, shiny sink; the toilets and stove were actually white again; the floor wasn't sticky; the fridge looked like new; mouse droppings were gone from my closet. Tony and Helen arrived on time and did a rly great job in our apartment. We moved temporarily for six months and the apartment was quite dusty and they made it completely spotless. OK, background is important here. 1) we have two cats. It is very important to us that we continue to possess these two cats. 2) My husband is very, very particular about housekeeping, and we've tried a few services where we only have them come once because they are not up to his standards. With that in mind, you should believe me when I say that Tony and Helen are so great! We have used them more than once (!) and they pass the standards test every time. They get all the weird corners and sneaky dust spots that have previously been missed by other cleaners. They are always on time, and not only are our cats still home when we get back, those felines aren't even in bad moods about weird noisy visitors. My personal favorite thing about them is that they don't hide--ok, ok, move or reorganize--my stuff. They clean under it and reposition it in a way that makes sense but doesn't send me tearing through the house searching for something. Hired Tony & Helen to clean our condo in South Boston. Tons of foot traffic, a 2 year old that manages to wedge Cheerios in every nook possible, dust build up, and plenty of areas that are just a pain to clean. Coming home today after their first visit, not sure I've ever seen the condo as clean as it is now. From the front door (which is gross from the bus that goes by), to every single surface, crack, joint and baseboard - they cleaned it all. Great choice! I bought a Groupon for 2 services and have continued periodically with this service. They are easy to schedule appoints with, come early and do a great job. When scheduling I have been able to reach them by calling or texting which is great. Every time they come, they have arrived before the scheduled time, which is awesome! We've used other services only to find dust bunnies and untouched spots after they've left. Every time we have Tony come to our house, we are more impressed than the last time at just how thorough of a job he and Helen do. They are simply better than everyone else. We loved how great they were and referred them to friends and family. However, they stopped returning calls and texts :( even a text to say we are out of their service area or they are too busy would have been fine but ignored texts 5x was really disappointing. I had received many quotes from different cleaning companies to clean our 2 bedroom condo. After trying a few cleaning companies I tried Tony & Helen a few years ago and finally found the company that I am happy with! I hire Tony and Helen to come before major events and for a once month cleaning on a regular schedule. They come on time and do a great job and since we have 2 dogs there is fur to deal with. I know they recently changed the phone number but they sent out texts to let customers know about it and provided the new number and it didn't cause any issues. I contacted Tony and Helen with very little notice for a one-time move-out cleaning this past Saturday at my Cambridge 4-bedroom apartment. Not only did they make the time to come on a two-day notice (in addition to quoting me a price far below the other services I contacted), but they exceeded all of my expectations. They were kind, courteous, and thorough beyond belief! After about three hours of cleaning, I had to leave my apartment. When I came back two hours later, they were still working on buffing out my kitchen floor!! I am sad that I am moving away because I feel foolish for not hiring them for regular cleanings earlier, that is how spotless they left my apartment. They were a breeze to communicate with and they did such a fantastic job that I felt compelled to pay them above the price they requested.
