    a panini and dipping sauce

Hello foodies today I bring you an amazing food review . Tony & Jim's Pizza is a truly genuine italian mom and pop run pizza joint,  with real Italians cooking the food.. very rare to find anymore specially in Brampton. They are Located in small plaza with plenty of parking and easy to find. I have eaten there pizza and sandwiches before and the food has always been fire really really good and very authentically made with love. Today I decided to order there deep fried panzorati with pepperoni ,double cheese ,hot peppers and yes pineapple with a side of tomato sauce for dipping. Food 5/5 ..five star rating for sure....first this ponzo is huge you can easily get two meals out of it or at least good for two people.  Look at my pictures it literally fills a pizza box huge. The ponzo bread is nice and crispy on the outside and so soft on juicy on inside loaded with cheese , let me tell you guys these guys dont get stinky with toppings , it was so full of my selected toppings I needed a fork to eat everything that was falling out that's much it was loaded . There peperoni is not your typical salty type that is used in most franchised pizzerias it's just devine si good. The tomatoe doing sauce was just yummy. Home made style not acidic very well spiced and just one of the best sauces I have ever had.  Barnon this is by far the best ponzo I have ever had in my life . Service 5/5 I had to waite about 15minutes for them to freshly prepare my ponzo which is completely understandable , friendly and very nice gentleman who served me ..Will be back many times for more of there food it's really that great guys and gals if your in the area stop in you wont be dispspointed.

Mid af. Wings are meh, pizza is decent but impossibly greasy. There are better spots, for sure.

Pizza was very dry. Pepperoni was small and dried out, cheese was so greasy. Thin crust was like eating cardboard. Wings were ok.

The wings were truly amazing. However only giving 3 stars because their pizza was just...okay.

Their wings are the best. If you're looking for suicide wings in Brampton, this is the place to go. Takeout place.

Amazing food! One thing I would watch for is wait times if you walk in without pre ordering.

I also tried the chicken parm sandwich which was great too but next time I'll ask for extra sauce on it.

When looking at the menu, there was even a disclaimer about the wait time, as they note on the menu that "good food takes time to make". It's understandable that quality food takes time to prepare, but we felt that overall the service was super slow. Taking our order took a while, and evening bringing out bill took an unnecessary 25 minutes after they cleared our plates. The food was also mediocre at best. Everything tasted bland and it could definitely use some more seasoning (or at least salt).

The ambiance was good but they missed the mark with the "romantic" setting if that's what they were going for. The service was a team style service. Our primary server "Chris" I thought was mediocre & just didn't have the charisma that a good server should have in a restaurant like this. We had to ask multiple times for both bread & pepper. The food was very tasty. I started off with the Calamari ($16.00). It was tasty but not overly so. It came accented with a red pepper style dip that didn't match the seafood taste. In my opinion it should have been a seafood sauce or tartar sauce. My main was the "Fettuccine with a Twist" ($32.00). The "twist" was 3x shrimp, chicken & peppers. It was a small portion & the pasta was very al-dente but I liked it like that. The rose sauce that was with the fettuccine was superb. I had the tiramisu ($10.00) for dessert. It was VERY mediocre & and very small portion as well (see pic). All in all this isn't a do-over for me. Too high priced with an auto tip of 20% which is why the service was what it was. Total bill was $200.00.

She's a nice person. The food was between good & very good. The appetizer was fried calamari ($18.99). In this version there was actually calamari in the order. I found it was WAY too salty & a small order but tasty nonetheless. I also had a Caesar salad ($13.00) small order and not overly tasty. My main was the Rosanna Farfalle ($29.00). This was a very tasty dish but the top portion of the order was just lukewarm and the bottom portion was hot. Meaning the order sat for a bit before coming to the table. Still...a very tasty dish. We finished with a rather small portion of Tiramisu ($12.00). This was billed as very tasty. Having had tiramisu around the world & in Italy...this tiramisu was mediocre. With the food, service & ambiance, this place could easily be a 5 star. They just need to step up the food temp & the portion size & it would be there.

We shared a bottle of the Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile and an app. I appreciate it that we were able to enjoy the company amongst each other and not be bothered or pressured with having to split our attention with the server. This restaurant is a little dated however, the food definitely makes up for the quality. I'd recommend nicer seating because I did get tired 30 minutes in as the chairs weren't as comfortable.

Both positive signs in my book. We started with the fried calamari. It was really crispy and hot. Came out quick too. We ordered a few pastas. The pasta with meat balls was our favourite. The mushroom ravioli was good but started tasting a bit sweet after eating half of it. We also had the sausage pasta and enjoyed that too. Seats about 40 to 50 people so make a reservation on the weekend. Warm tasty pasta with bold comforting flavours, perfect for when you have an Italian food craving. Service is great too. They helped us read the Italian menu. Kept refilling our water and brought out some bread to start the meal. Nice clean washroom too.

Food (3.75/5) - they have a good selection of items on the menu and a couple of specials of the day as well. - Vitello ai Funghi - veal cutlets in a seared assorted mushroom and white wine sauce. It was just ok imo... the veal was a bit chewy and not tender as I was expecting. Sauce is ok bit understated. - Tortellini alla Bolognese - veal filled tortellini in a homemade Bolognese sauce. This was a nice dish with a nice flavourful Bolognese and tortellini cooked properly. - Cozze Marinara - mussels in a marinara sauce with garlic, onion and herbs. Cooked properly and a pretty good broth to dip bread into. - Complimentary bruschetta with a sauteed pepper/onion garnish was provided - not great imo... too dry and lacked flavour. Service (4.5/5) - pretty strong and service-oriented. Seated quickly and well attended multiple times by server and assistant. Atmosphere (4.25/5) - it is quite small with maybe 10 tables total. White tablecloth and wood look... quiet place designed for dates and families. Overall (4/5) - It is a solid Italian restaurant overall. I can see it being popular with locals looking for a quiet dinner spot. I was hoping the food would be more extraordinary however could be the selection of items we had.
