Even worse, the employee tasked with monitoring the kids' waterslide was doing the same, completely disengaged, staring at their phone, puffing on a vape. It was beyond unprofessional, it was unsafe. Trash was piled up on most tables, left untouched long after guests had left. Meanwhile, a cluster of employees stood around doing absolutely nothing. I snapped a photo of the scene, and instead of acknowledging the issue, one of them smirked and sent security over to give me a hard time. When I brought it up to the manager, she claimed that phone use and vaping weren't allowed, but had no explanation for why it's clearly tolerated. The food? Cold, flavorless, and tossed together like it was an afterthought. And the "family-friendly" atmosphere? Not even close. There was loud, explicit music playing right next to the kids' area while intoxicated adults were grinding on each other in the pool. It felt more like a spring break free-for-all than a place you'd want to take your family. The only person who acted with any professionalism was the security guard checking IDs at the entrance, and that's saying something. This place is a mess. Dirty, reckless, and completely mismanaged. If you care about safety, service, or basic decency, look elsewhere.

On top of the very expensive (and quite frankly, unreasonable) prices, we were surprised with a 20% gratuity (for a party of 2) that they said was standard for everyone. They also added a separate card charge on top of this. This wasn't stated anywhere until we got the check. This should not be their choice. I believe they require this charge because they know they will not get that based on the service. Wish I would've gone to the gas station instead of paying $95 for a two person dinner. Seriously. Freezer meals would have been better tasting and more enjoyable and I wouldn't have had to feel as though I was bothering the staff with my presence. My son got the kid's cheeseburger meal and really liked it and the hand cut curly fries. The only person who didn't really care for their food was my dad, who got the brisket sandwich. The brisket was cut really thick and didn't have a whole lot of flavor. He's not the kind to complain though, so he didn't send it back. I think we will come again and definitely enjoy the pork and try the ribs (they had run out). We also want to try the slaw (they were out of that as well.)
