She asks questions before to get an idea of what your vision is. I always envisioned wearing my wedding dress with my baby bump, and she made it happen. She makes the experience stress free; she is prepared and provides guidance on how to pose. I am forever thankful that she captured that chapter of my life! She also took our newborn's photos at 2 weeks old. I was worried that we wouldn't have the best outcome because our baby wouldn't fall asleep, but once he finally did she did her magic. When we came inside she gave me the remote to the heating and air and wanted to make sure I was comfortable offered me drinks and snacks. I was not expecting her to be such a great host as well as a photographer!! Her studio has anything and everything a newborn baby and post partum mom might need on an outing such as changing table, wipes, diapers, sound machine, boppy breast feeding pillow, and so much more but those were just a few things I noticed or used while I was there. She has an amazing collection of props, fabrics, bows, and adorable vintage little outfits to choose from when styling your baby for the photos. She helped me choose a lot of it bc I could not make up my mind. She was a swaddling pro the baby was extremely comfortable. We had my 3 year old son come at the end of the session and he wasn't quite cooperating but she was very patient and understanding. These photographers are awful and the rules they have to follow make it even worse. They don't…read morecheck the pics to see if they are level, so the baseboard in the back is always crooked. They don't take multiple shots of one pose either, so if it's a pose you wanted and anything is off that's it. They should be snapping away to get natural shots of young children smiling, but they don't want to waste their time waiting on you to look through the pics. They cut off hair, feet and other parts. How hard is it to stand back and get a full shot. They just have no experience and the only training they get is in upselling photo packages. I really hate that they force you to pick 2 backgrounds, so be prepared. This studio in particular is REALLY dirty. The backgrounds have stains, the baseboard has stains and once you view your photos at home you can tell. You can't tell from their monitor. The TV for kids doesn't work. Why can't they clean and get the tv to work so children can watch a movie while they wait for you to look through the photos. At least remove it and put a chair in its place. Only go here if you are desperate for some cheap shots. Don't believe their sales lines when they say oh this is soo adorable, that's precious, this is a good one. Most of the poses they have kids do suck. Your kid isn't even smiling and they will say it's a good one. Just tell them no. Trust your gut that the pics suck and just get the 1 or 2 you really want.
