Hands down the BEST car service within the Pittsburgh area. Being a out of state Penn State student, there is a real struggle to financially afford getting back to State College, Pennsylvania. I needed to rent a large van to accommodate 14 passengers from the airport to our hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. I'm a huge fan of Yelp and use that to find a reputable company. Tony Williams almost hit the 5 star mark. Almost. Tony is quick to respond to my calls and emails. However, there was a lack of little details as time drew closer to my event date, and I didn't get the detail until I already left Los Angeles. I wasn't worried about my car, as we secured (in writing) my price and the date, but I had no clue who my driver was, or where to meet. On the day of the trip, I got an email asking to reconfirm my headcount. Fortunately I was checking email during my flight and was able to IMessenger Tony 3000 feet in the air. I confirmed that I still had 14 passengers but 2 of my members had a full size suitcase. Apparently we needed a larger van or 2 small ones. Tony was able to get 2 vans for us, which worked out afterall. One van would have been extremely tight for 14 people, so 2 vans made it easier... but naturally the cost went up. Our 2 drivers Terry and Brad were excellent drivers. Friendly and chatty but not overly chatty. I got a text from both when they were at the airport, and they waited for us in exit 8. Tony negotiated a very reasonable price for the extra van, and I tipped our drivers appropriately. Aside from the miscommunication, I would recommend Tony. If you're like me, who needs to know stuff in advance, email or call him for the answer. Keep in mind that for transporting with luggage, go up a size. Dissapointed with the experience especially since my fellow yelpers had good things to say. We booked through Tony for a bachelorette party. He changed his price quotes a few times which was confusing but workable. We had asked all the right questions about policies for paying for drive back times, the cost per hour and the number of passengers we needed to accommodate. At the party, the limo wasn't the right size... one of the girls who had chipped in had to ride with someone else. Not cool. Afterwards, suddenly the prices were different and the policies about drive back times also different. He was also pretty rude during the exchange when we were trying to get a breakdown of the cost. Last Tuesday, Tony's driver Carrie took my mother and me to a medical facility, where I was scheduled to undergo a routine procedure. The doctor fell behind schedule, and I called Carrie to delay our pick-up accordingly. Unfortunately, when my turn finally came, the procedure went very wrong, and they sent me to the local hospital by ambulance, leaving my elderly mother behind. Mom has a serious heart condition and walks with great difficulty; she was obviously deeply worried and upset about my condition. Carrie was kind enough to help my mother to her limo, provide reassurance on the drive home, walk her carefully up our driveway, help her into our house, and ensure she was OK before leaving.
