Dirty, dirty, dirty. Every table was dirty and no employee seemed to care. It was kinda gross.

So far Tonyburgers has been a great experience. We've gone a few times and every time it's been really good! I also did lots of food delivering for them and they would treat me nicely and provide the food at a decent speed even when busy. The food quality is higher than McDonald's and In & Out. The burgers are really good and the meat is tasty. The fries are on par with In & Out, but not McDonald's. The milkshake is to DIE for...also it's price. Apple Pay isn't available even though it says they do. We actually found out by arriving without our cards and it was just an unnecessary mess. read more

Tonys seems to be following the 5 guys model of build-your-own burger ordering. You start with a choice of a "Little Tony" (1/4 lbs) or a "Big Tony" (1/3 lbs), and then you pile on the toppings. Some are free, and some will cost you more. I opted for a Big Tony (wrapped in lettuce) and my friend went for the Big Tony combo which includes a drink and fries. The fries are cooked in peanut oil (in case you have an allergy) Side note : I am still looking for a place that has caught on that cooking in synthetic oils should go the way of the dinosaurs and go back to beef tallow and/or lard... Shoot, I'd even settle for coconut oil... But I digress. The burgers and the fries were tasty, though I did have to have them redo mine on account that the level of my burgers pinkness was bordering on making me fear for my health. My friends burger was cooked through, which makes me wonder what is the standard temp there. Overall, if you are in the area and wanting something less chain and more do it yourself, then give Tonys a try. They are going to be a little more expensive than your average burger place... But that seems to be the trend in general with these gourmet burger joints. read more

Today, a 2* may be generous. This could be such a great place, and sometimes in the past it has been. it's all about cleanliness. The tables are always a mess. It's so bad, that they even put out wipes with a sign that we can wipe our own tables, yet even this day those were out. It's all about the details, if it's that bad where the customers see, how bad is it where the customers don't see. And, it wasn't busy, so don't tell me this was the reason. It's not busy 'cause you don't present well. Then on this night (just a few days ago), the burgers were so messy, they sure don't cheat you on the amount of ketchup and mustard put on, come on really. I have never had a more disgusting dinner. My veggie burger was cold, limp, soggy, stinky and just absolutely horrific!! It literally smelled like burnt plastic with a side of moldy garbage. I am so grossed out! Also my fries and onion rings were soggy and greasy. Very mad! This is the third time I've had a bad experience here. Never again! The last time I patronized TonyBurgers was when the location was across the street (in Centerville). And that (the location) seems to be the only thing that has changed. It is still overpriced! I used a $5 off coupon and two adult meals, plus two kids meals set me back nearly $40! Give me a break! This place is a burger joint. And one that serves lackluster food, at that! We placed a "to-go" order. We ate our burgers in the car, and the burger patties on both of our burgers were disgustingly dry. So NOT worth the price we payed. TonyBurgers could never have a drive-thru feature, because they take FOREVER to cook mediocre food. Next time, and every time hereafter, I'm going to In N' Out instead. read more

I have loved the burgers in the past and was excited to try one of the salads. Only two options and both were $8. I ordered the Southwest Salad. I have never been more disappointed. It was small for the price, the tortilla strips were stale, it tasted like they just opened a couple of cans and threw cold beans, corn, and peppers on lettuce. It was the worst salad I've ever ordered. I should have gone back and ordered something else, but we were in a hurry to see a show. Five Guys who?!? This place rocked my socks off. Not literally, but almost. I ordered the Southwestern burger and. It. Was. Awesome! From the slight crunch of the onion strings to the juice dripping off my fingers from the burger, the whole experience was heaven in a bun. The jalapeños were the perfect addition to an already delicious burger. Their fries were great too! I'm not one for thick steak fries, so the skinny, sometimes crunchy fries they served us were great IMO. I'd recommend this place over Five Guys any day. Did I mention they also have salads? Trying out the infamous Tony burger. My thoughts: burger was really good. Not the best, but far better than many. Cost was same as Five Guys. I got a BBQ burger with an egg on it. Tonyburger delivers a delicious burger! I wish the fries were better. They mostly seem to be small, skinny overcooked pieces whenever I order them. Shakes are great though! I'm glad this is near home. I enjoy creating my own burger with the ingredients I like. I like the meat texture and taste! I don't like a thick patty that usually has pink in it like other places. Tonyburger meat sort of reminds me of Smashburger a little. My favorite is the southern burger with fries. One of the best burgers you will find. They grind their own blend of beef cuts to get the perfect taste and texture. Fries are excellent as well. You can customize any burger on the menu. read more

This was totally worth the wait! I only eat one burger per month and I try to stick with only a 1/2 to keep the calories down. NOT TODAY! Eating it all. ..extra gym time will be worth it. Killer fries! Even though we got onion rings we had to order some to try them. I would highly recommend getting some if you're not planning on it. Good onion rings! Onion rings were not what I expected, but they were still good. I was thinking 5 or 6 fat rings but they were thin sliced and piled high and pretty oily. I got a single patty with American cheese and onion strings, not realizing its the same as the onion rings. Lettuce wrap style. Yes, I got a lettuce wrap to save on carbs and got fried onion rings on top LOL. Don't judge me. It had mayo, mustard and Tony sauce. I wasn't quite sure where the Tony sauce was and what it's supposed to taste like but it was pretty good...I guess? My husband got a single as well. With lettuce, tomato, ketchup and mustard. He says it was pretty good. The burger was a little thin (mine was too) but had good flavor. Next to ketchup and fry sauce, they had a choice of hickory sauce. That was way yummy! I would dip everything in it, even a piece of cardboard. Ok so here's the deal with the 3 stars... I thought it was pricey. $20. They load you up with fries, which are good, don't get me wrong, but I was left wondering what we were really paying $20 for? The burgers were good l, but only just sliiiiiightly above-average, and pretty small. They claim *World Famous Burgers* and have all this hoorah about their fries which I feel kind of distracts you from paying a lot of money for a tiny burger. I did enjoy the food this time. We went there when they were brand new, in the original location on the other side of the street. I couldn't remember why we really didn't like them, and now I kind of remember. They are pretty mediocre, but they're definitely not out of game. 5 guys still has a slight upper hand. We will go back when $20 for a burger isn't a big deal. read more

I love that they let you build your own burger-it makes it easy for picky eaters in the family to get just what they want. The service is excellent and the establishment is clean. It does take some time to get your food ordered and served, so probably not the place if you're looking to get your food speedy quick. For me, it's always worth the wait. I'm always on the lookout for a good burger place. Tonyburgers is a friends favorite so I've tried it 3 times now. Each time in really underwhelmed. Burgers just aren't that flavorful. This last time I ordered one with a fried egg on it. It just wasn't that great...(For anyone who has lived in SLC for more than a few years, the old J Burger on 8th south used to do burgers with eggs better than anyone....). The meat isn't tasty. The burger overall just meh. Fries are pretty good but not great. Overall I'd tell anyone to drive past the Tonyburger and pull into the in and out just down the road. 5guys remains my all time favorite. read more

The food was really fresh. But there was this annoying female worker in the afternoon that was super loud and wanted everyone to hear her business. She looked dirty and like she doesn't care about proper food safety. Not sure how their kitchen is set up or if they clean up at night with chemicals and leave residue but me and my girlfriend got sick for the first time going there. Had a massive headache. I can't say for sure what exactly got us sick there but we know it has something to do how their kitchen is set up or something else. The burgers were original. Take this as constructive criticism and only hire people that pay attention to detail. Anyone that doesn't really care about working with food is most likely gross and and have gross habits. read more

So me and my wife are sitting there eating for lunch. The manager is at another table training a kid for his first day of work. We hear the manager tell this kid that if he is sick, he either has to get his shift covered or come into work. Pretty disgusting to hear them tell an employee that if he is sick he HAS to come into work while your eating their food. This whole place has a feeling of grossness honestly. The Centerville location has been our favorite burger place for two years, we eat there every week for lunch. However, the past 3 weeks have been awful. I don't know if they changed managers or what, but someone is trying to cut corners. The burgers are NOT quarter pound burgers, they are thin and small and overcooked. Not our usual burgers at all. Then they changed the buns to some cheap thing that falls apart in your hands. The tomatoes were not fresh, the lettuce was warm. Then they pile an overload of overcooked fries on us. We don't come for the fries, we come for the BURGERS. We are Platinum members, but won't be using our membership until this changes. read more

When the description says roasted red peppers, black beans, and corn, I really didn't expect that to be cold and soggy.
