We came here super late. Like 9:30 pm. I was surprised how late this place is open! It opens until 11:00 pm! Even though it was late, the staff were super friendly. They asked about our night, shared which "puck" cookie I should try and even included an extra ranch for my buffalo chicken since "all buffalo chicken should come with an extra sauce". They're quite hot on their scale so I go with mild on the sandwich and went buffalo on the tender. The buffalo was pretty hot and your typical buffalo sauce. The sandwich is awesome! I have heard great things about this place and while it was okay, it felt like pricey spicy versions of other chicken places. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing? But ultimately the service was also sub-par - they didn't put my daughters order into the computer, so when the price was lower than expected I verified the order and thankfully caught their mistake (listen there were only 2 of us, with no customization). Then they brought her order and took the number from our table. I had to stop the employee to ask about my meal and it was several more minutes before mine was brought out - did they forget to order hers and forget to make mine...yup! I'm glad Farmington has something new... or at least new-ish. It's nice to have another option besides the same old chain restaurants -- except this one still kind of feels like a chain. The food's not bad, but the price stings a little. If I'm going to drop $20 on a chicken sandwich, small fries, and a drink, I'll head to Pretty Bird, where the portions feel like they're trying to apologize for the price tag. Service was on the slow side, but I'll cut them some slack -- it was busy, they're new, and staffing is probably still a game of musical chairs. The space looks almost identical to the old tenant, so no big "wow" factor there. All in all, not terrible, not amazing -- just comfortably in the middle. Flavorful and generous portion size. A little messy to eat by hand but not reasonable to cut because it's served on paper. Best Chicken sandwhich I've had from a chain and better than any local chicken joints. Chicken was crispy the whole time and great flavor. Spicy is not for the faint of heart. Suggest staying at Medium unless you're truly into spicy. I got the original chicken sandwhich medium, comes with slaw and house made sauce. It was pretty average. The first thing that struck me was the sticker shock. I walked in for lunch expecting a $10-$15 meal, but I paid nearly $20, including the recommended gratuity, for a single chicken sandwich, fries and a soda. That is Five Guys expensive, so as I sat waiting for my food I thought maybe this place is like Five Guys, where everybody is cheery and enthusiastic and as they're bagging up your meal they dump a pound of fries on top of the food. Nope. I got an average-sized spicy chicken sandwich, that was more coleslaw than chicken, a small basket of fries, some house fry sauce and a small beverage cup. The flavor of the food was fine; the spice of the chicken filet was a little prickly, but nothing crazy. The fries tasted like they'd been sitting under a heat lamp for a little while. It was just a remarkably unremarkable meal that cost 25% more than it should have. The most apt comparison I can make for this meal was it reminded me of buying lunch in an airport terminal. read more

I thought that he should have said that it would be changed. I got the impression that no one wanted to make a different sandwich and for me to just deal with it. I was surprised at all of this and just said ok. I got annoyed with myself later because we had left a tip and then this happened. Another thing that happened was many of the employees decided to go on a bathroom break at the same time. No restrooms were open for us and we waited. And waited. And waited. I have an adequate amount of tolerance to spice. I decided I wanted to try their hottest chicken, Houston... we have a problem. This was a problem. Taking a first bite, I thought to myself, this really isn't too bad. This was the wrong thing to think, because a minute later, I was on the ground with sweat, tears, snot, and other bodily fluids covering my face. The seasoning first burns your mouth, making you forget any thoughts that you might have be able to eat a ghost pepper. After the mouth pain fades, your throat feels as though someone has taken a hot branding rod, realized it wouldn't fit down your throat, and just started pounding on your face. After this ordeal you go home thinking you are safe, but no one is safe from what is to come. What proceeded was many hours of infernal disaster where many times the thought of taking chloroform was very prevalent. Employees gave me and extra 2 chicken tenders, after I was not permitted to take the one and a half, hellfire chicken tenders home. I'm immensely satisfied with my service. read more
