HOWEVER, I recently called to have a potential end-of-life check done on my car, and I was told it would be done, I wouldn't be charged, and I authorized no further work. The specific check I requested was simply for someone to drive my car up the street, and let me know the origin of the noise it was making. *NO FURTHER WORK WAS AUTHORUZED.* I ended up being charged for both the check, and light replacements that I hadn't authorized, which totaled out to almost 200 dollars. This is behavior I'd expect from a shop being run out of someone's garage, and not an established shop where I've brought my car for service on multiple occasions. I am now almost 200 dollars further away from being able to pay for the repairs, and this might clinch my decision to get rid of my car, which is absolutely disastrous for my life. Mixed proficiency, at best I had a bad experience with them…read moreregarding an oil change. Long story short, my oil was was low, lower than it should have been for my mileage. (The resulting clacking sound could indicate engine damage.) They tried to blame it on my engine burning too much oil but this has never been the case with my former garage. The person I spoke with was condescending, not believing and not at all interested in the possibility that I could have a valid opinion. Won't go back. I said "mixed proficiency" because I'd gone to them once in the past and it was fine - that wasn't an oil change, however. I'm very glad I was able to go back to my former garage and that I have that experience for comparison. I would say that they are on the defensive about their work, also that they have a greedy mentality, charging for "loaner" cars. Customer value is number 1 and along with that, valuing what your customer has to say about their experience.

Many years ago, around 2005, I was in a major accident and my insurance company recommended these folks. They did a fabulous job and the lovely wife and I always remembered that. Flash forward to late December last year when we were rear-ended by an Upper Darby cab driver. Major damage! The highest compliment you can give a business is to continue using them. It was a no brainer to bring our car here. The customer service we received from Bob and Kim was excellent. Super friendly folks. My car was returned back to me in pristine condition. Actually it was even better than that. I had a major scuff mark on a front fender from "touching" a curb months before. Bob offered to fix that for FREE. Now that is outstanding service! It would be wonderful if I never have a need for a body shop again. However, if and when it happens, I know where I'm bringing my car!
