I've been going here for about a year now. The cuts are consistently getting worse every time. The last three cuts have been garbage. I just left there an hour ago, went in the bathroom and looked at my fade and wow. As Tony was fading it, I could feel the clippers bouncing randomly around my head. The fade is not clean. Hair on the back of my neck still and around my ears. I will have to clean this up with my own razor. He killed it, me and most importantly my fourteen year old, Loved his hair cut, my son has straight, thin hair, hard to cut without messing up, he took his time to màke sure my son got what he wanted. Went here last week, asked for a trim to clean up my hair and a beard trim. Tony instead gave me a military haircut, significantly shortening it. He then trimmed my beard. That part, he did very well and I'd be happy to go back to him for that. They also only take cash, but they have a large sign that says that when you enter the building. Go to 7-eleven next door to get some cash before you get in, will make it easier for you later. read more

Got the lady in the middle chair. Asked for a medium skin fade with a 4 on top and leave the bangs long. When it was over I have no bangs at all, and she buzzed it way lower than a 4. Then I asked for a simple lineup on my beard around my neck. She had obviously never done a beard before and I was on my back 30 mins with her going back and forth and calling in the guy several times. When it was all said and done they charged me $30! Firstly - it is a barbershop open on Monday. Second - crazy low prices. I stopped in after a medical appointment and a trip to PalDo on a Monday morning. There was only one barber but I was the only customer so it was all good. The barber was quick and efficient and gave me my fairly easy cut in no time. I fell in love with having my neckline cleaned up after I first experienced it in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I really love that it is included in the price of the cut which was a very reasonable $10. If I lived in the area I think Tony's would be my regular barbershop. read more

I haven't been in the area for a while so I took my son To Shorty's cause that's where I used to go in high school. I told the lady a low fade, She looked like she didn't want to do it or didn't know what she was doin. And another lady didn't want to do it either. I took my son out the chair, then the barber decided maybe she could do it now and I said naw, we goin somewhere else. Since this was near where I was staying, and I was in dire need of a cut, I thought this place would work out. It was empty and I immediately went to a chair. The man on site asked what I wanted and I requested a low fade with a 6 guard on top. The first encounter with the clippers rode up from my ears to the very edge of my head. Assuming this was a higher guard, I thought nothing of it. As I turned around, it was evident he took the bare clippers absolutely too high. In the end I got an EXTREMELY HIGH fade. I'm of the opinion that you're at the mercy of what the barber feels like he should do in lieu of what you actually request. tl;dr, asked for a low fade touch up, got an almost MO-hawk. read more

My husband comes here to get his hair cut and for $12 I can't imagine a better deal? There are some not so great reviews on here but that may be because they've gone to the wrong person. There are 4 barbers from what I can tell 2 women and 2 men. My husband has gone to the same women every time and his hair has come out perfect! I believe her name is Kay and she is always at the second chair from the bathroom (with the shorter hair). She listens to exactly what my husband wants and is VERY particular to detail. My husband likes is hair a very specific way and the fact that anyone can deliver is a HUGE deal. Like I said, the negative reviews on here seem to be for some of the other barbers here so I'd highly recommend going to Kay. I feel like she's a hidden secret to the shop! read more

Extremely dope place to just walk in off the street to...I questioned if I should let the lady cut my hair but being pressed for time and needing to get it done I choose to go ahead with it...turns out I choose a damn good place to get cut...having no idea in how to cut Afro American hair she did her damn thang....I could tell that her knowledge of symmetry and angels I was in good hands...loved how soft her hands was as she precisely trimmed me up...awesome place read more

Great haircut and friendly service to an extent. Only problem was when I went to pay, I handed the barber $20. His reply was "20 is fine (or good)" something to that effect. Although the displayed haircut price was $10 that day was. On Yelp, the pictures reflect $7, $12, and $13. Basically he "finessed" me for $20 even though I always tip my barbers at least $5. It's not the amount of money, it's the principle. For a first timer there, I was especially impressed with the haircut, but since the barber was this rude, I will not be coming back. My husband has come here twice now - they have done a FANTASTIC job both times. $12 cash for the cut... cheaper than great clips and WAY better. They actually blend the sides for one. Friend recommended me here so I decided to give it a try. Came in on a Friday morning and was seated right away. Told the barber I had wanted a low skin fade which he did correctly however it was not blended that clean. Didn't clean the bulk of the hair out towards the top so it looked more like a taper. Whenever I told him to cut the top just about a half inch, he always cut it very uneven. Mainly focused on the right side of my hair so when I got a chance to really look at it, the left side was miles longer than the right. The line up is very clean and they have good customer service but I do wish they paid more attention to detail on making sure the haircut is clean and precise. read more

Great haircuts for a great price! I come here about twice a month, and my experience is nothing short of awesome every time. First of all, (koko, I think her name is) is awesome. She will give you exactly what you want all while not groaning or complaining when you ask for adjustments like some other barbers do. My hair got destroyed. I have been growing my hair out for about 6 months now and have had a Barber in my hometown work magic on it. I just moved up here to Lakewood area and figures I would try Tony's because of the good reviews. I told them I wanted the top left alone and just wanted the sides trimmed because it was getting shaggy. They did not listen to me and took an electric razor to the top and totally destroyed what I have been working on for the last 6 months. It will take me at least 3 months of proper growing/cutting for me to get it back to where it was. I will never come back here or recommend anyone to this place. read more
