When I called a number of contractors for quotes, he was the only contractor who did more than look at the chimneys that needed repair. He rapped on the stucco to see where it was sound and where it was loose. He took his time examining it. He even went on our roof to inspect the chimneys from the top, returning with photos of areas of issue, and described the work he recommended to be done. His proposal listed many more items he would repair -- as compared to what other contractors had listed in their quotes -- yet his price was in the range of the other contractors. More bang for the buck, as they say. I am very satisfied with the results, and recommend him to others whose chimneys are in need of service.

Fred said he was tired of unscrupulous contractors scaring people into unnecessary and expensive repairs. Twenty-five years of safe experience have now borne him out. Now Fred has been succeeded by his son Eric, who is just as knowledgeable and practical. The sweepers they send out have always been most courteous, and cleaned up after themselves very thoroughly.
