Uneven Cut,Dishonest Styling, and Zero Accountability': I came in asking for an even cut while keeping as much length as possible. What I got was the complete opposite. The top, sides, and crown are all different lengths, the crown is choppy, and the shape doesrit match on either side. The haircut only looked "okay"in the shop because my hair was styled and sponged in a way that hid the mistakes, When I got home, washed and styled it myself, the uneven areas were obvious. I reached out 'espectfully, and instead of taking responsibilty, he tried to charge me again to fix a mistake he made, A professional barber stands behind their work. If your cut only looks ood for 10 minutes under heavy styling and falls apart the moment you touch it that's not skll. thats covering up poor technique. I paid $30,tipped on top of that, and still walked away with an uneven, sloppy haircut." be posting photos so people can see exactly what mean. I would not recommend this barber if you have textured or curly hair, (mine is 4C) or if you expect consistency and accountability. Be cautious, And the Barber who cut my hair was ANDREW... he could care less about making things right and blame me for the haircut that he gave me and wanted to use me leaving the building and saying that it looks nice for the reason why he wants to charge me again instead of just fixing the hairstyle and making things right. The quality of the service is first rate. The barbers are knowledgeable and friendly. The ambiance is great too.

This place has been around for a very long time. Its located in the Aurora Train station. Tony the owner is still cutting hair along side of a few other barbers. Its very quite when activity at the station is slow, but its gets kinda loud when the train comes in from Chicago. Nothing to worry about. They do appointments, and also take walk in's if they have open slots. The best days to come in is Tuesday and Wednesday. They are the slowest. Hours are 9 to 6 weekdays and 8 to 5 on Saturday. Basic hair cuts go for $17.00, kids $13.00 and the works $35.00 (includes haircut, beard trim, hot towel shave and eye brows.) They take cash, debit or credit and welcome tips. I had no problem parking. My son got his hair cut this trip. We were done in about 15 minutes. That's fast most of the other barbershops around take over an hr. If your looking a get a fast cut by professionals this is where you want to go. read more

Came in today. Had set up an appointment ahead of time and came in a few minutes early. As the barber, Daniel, started working on my haircut, the "boss" Tony came over and started rushing him; reminding him he had another appointment. It was then that the mistakes and unprofessionalism started. He was careless, and even hurtful at times (got a few cuts). Afterwards he ACTUALLY did not want to show the back of my head. Once I got home, I saw the damage and honestly I can say this is the worst haircut I've ever had. I used to love this place for their care and good eye for detail. I would recommend it to all my friends and family and now I will never go back there after the way I was treated and the haircut I was given. I do not recommend. read more

We stopped by as a walk-in after visiting the roundhouse next door. There was not a long wait and I got a single blade shave since I don't really have hair for a haircut. They were really good about keeping my head still as well as moving it where it needed to be without jerking it around. It was definitely the tightest shave I've had and I typically use a multi blade razor every other day. The staff was kind all around to other customers and kept it quite tidy and clean. I would highly recommend their services. read more

There are a lot of great barbershops in Aurora, but this one goes under the radar. Started going there out of convenience about 2 years ago, as my previous barber had moved locations. Nothing but good experiences here. Ive always been happy with my haircuts and I see nothing but good haircuts leaving the place. read more
