He asked me then if he could install it. I said yes. He installed it and it still leaked. He pulled it out and said he found the leak and Re-installed it and asked me to come. Car would not start. He handed me a broken oil filler tube and said it was broken. He was lying. I looked at engine. When they put starter back together, they crunched all the air hoses. They pulled off starter and re-positioned air hoses. Some hose got ruined. Another issue they put water in my anti-freeze tank. You don't put water in an antifreeze tank in a Porsche? He did not know how to release the pressure of air in anti-freeze tank and car overheated. I personally had to fix all these issues. Not only that the car still leaked fluid in transmission. George blamed it on the flywheel was bad. I asked him if he tightened bolts per Porsche specs. He said, "It does not Matter". I brought my Porsche after the fact to Porsche. They said tightening bolts to specs on Porsche Automatic Tiptronic Transmission flywheel is one of the most important things. If not, it will still leak. George Masked my issue and did not fix it. Now, I am stuck putting transmission fluid in my Porsche every 2 weeks because it leaks out!

Litchfield Auto Repair's mechanics quickly discovered what the large chain shop missed. A damaged transmission bracket was causing excess vibration and had been destroying my motor and transmission mounts. There were also other issues that needed attention, and the team walked me through each one clearly. Litchfield Auto Repair diagnosed excessive engine movement and rebuilt the entire engine and transmission mount set-up using modified brackets because original parts for a 2000 Cavalier are no longer available. They replaced the left front CV axle, installed a new air conditioning compressor, performed a complete R134a evacuate and recharge service, and coordinated a full transmission rebuild. Per my request, Jenny tried to source new old stock parts for the job, but in some cases, they were not available. After all the work was completed, the Cavalier drove smoother and stronger than it has in years. Their pricing was fair, their communication was clear, and the quality of their work was outstanding. Jenny and her mechanics really listened to my input and provided superior service compared with what I had experienced at other shops over the last 12 years. Service was a in house rebuild on a 2006 F150 transmission. Mike takes care of the rebuilds and his expertise shows. Oh I guess now is a good time to mention that this vehicle has 439,000 plus miles on it. And the transmission had never been touched as far as repairs, just fluid and filter changes when I remembered they were due. They stand behind the work and do understand the customers needs. Had a slight issue after picking the truck up that was promptly addressed even though it was actually not related to the rebuild. My shift cable was so old that it would not retain adjustment. It was 20 years old at least. Mike found the issue and actually walked me out so I could see what was happening. Part was ordered, wrong part was shipped over to there shop twice due to it not matching the vin number. When they found the part number after removal. It's Sunday 8/9/26 at 8:30am and our car overheats in a drive thru and we had to keep turning it off. Luckily we were a few miles from home and let it cool so we could drive instead of walking 2 miles in 100+ temps. Christian Brothers put us in a really dangerous position. When we had to get the Ford fixed for the second time that was a red flag that we should've listened to. But because we needed our overheated Trax towed, it was easiest to go with Christian Brothers. Let me tell you... Do you not take the easy way out because of the "free tow" because after $1300 our car is still not fixed and now we have to take PTO and rearrange our schedules all over again. I don't think it's a free tow anyhow; I'm sure it's added to the cost of the car services.

Especially because I've got a diesel and I know they require a special touch. Turns out it was a sensor for the accelerator and they had it ready for pickup on Monday by 3pm! It drives BETTER than even before the problems began and I now know where to take it for my tune-up and maintenance like oil changes. The parking lot was full and my passenger was happy with their service. I needed to replace my Wife's car AC cabin fan and radiator fan. I bought the parts at the dealer expecting to do the repair myself. After watching YouTube videos I decided someone with actual skill and experience needed to do the job. I made an appointment through Yelp. The repair took about three hours. I was happy when they called with the request to proceed after testing that they did not try to up sell me on other repairs, just I was right that the fan motors were bad. When I picked up the repaired car, they did have a list of issues and discussed the importance of repairing each. Most were just fine right now but watch for issues in the future. They did say there was a split hose from the engine air filter to the engine which needed replacing sooner than later. Since I do the routine maintenance on my cars at home they suggested buying a new hose and installing it myself. They were happy to do it but said that part was easy to replace. I also appreciate they returned the replaced parts without me asking. First repair and I'm impressed. I posted on an Uber driver facebook group about the company. One driver replied they don't go Cha-Ching when a female walks in. Everything about my first repair was transparent and fully discussed before the repair and when I picked up.
