He was on time, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. He explained everything in a way that made sense, didn't try to upsell anything unnecessary, and made sure the job was done right. My A/C is now blowing cold again like it should, and the car is running perfectly. You can tell he takes pride in his work and cares about doing a quality job. On top of that, the convenience of him coming to me saved a lot of time and hassle. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking for reliable and honest mobile mechanic work.

However, I am very disappointed with the level of expertise and outcome of the visit. My 2014 Jeep compass has had the check engine light on for a week, steering locked up last week, and has had delayed clicking start. Justin arrived, I gave him the full history of my vehicle (no problems for 10 years) and the issues occurring the last month or so which prompted the call. He started running tests, even drove the car around to see if he could replicate what I had been experiencing. About 30 minutes into the visit he said he couldn't replicate any of the issues; that's okay, as I mentioned it only happened about 50% of the time. But he sat in my car another 20-30 minutes or so, told me he had to call his boss because he was completely stumped. Not really what you want to hear, but even I started making suggestions of what it could be so he could at least do something for me. At the end of the visit he basically just said "sorry I have no idea what's wrong, maybe replace your battery?"... the only thing he found was a sensor on my engine needed replacement, but it's totally unrelated to the other issues. I ended up having to pay $150 for literally no better idea what's wrong with my car and not feeling any safer to drive it. It was a huge waste of my time and now I'm out $150, and I still had to take it to another shop that already figured out the problem not even 24 hours later. Save yourself some money and go to a real auto shop. I understand that some technicians may be learning or lack the knowledge to dive deeper, but someone should be going with them to assist so your customers aren't left feeling robbed and confused.

I am not satisfied with the service I received. When I initially took my vehicle to you on December 4th, my check engine light was on and my radiator fluid was leaking. I advised I only wanted the issue that led to my check engine light and leak to be fixed because that's all I could afford at the time. I was told it was the cause was the Intake Manifold Gasket. The total came to $5005.22 I got a call saying my vehicle was ready and I picked it up on December 17th (8 days after drop-off). I was told to check engine light was still on and they're not sure why, but they drove the car and everything is fine. I drove my car to enterprise to drop my rental back off and then to the grocery store. While on the freeway, to the grocery store, the car shut off. The coolant and engine overheating warming lights came on. (The issue I just paid $5005.02). I called your shop twice and no answer and then I sent an email. December 18th I received a call back and was advised they will come to my house and pick my truck back up. Two men came and picked my truck up. I got a call December 19th. Stating it was now the heat module management/unit that needed to be replaced which came out to another $1078.54. My car was picked up December 18. I did not receive my car back until January 7th. I was told twice before this date that I was going to get my car back. I ended up having to spend $726 for a rental car. My issue is I had to pay $2000 just to get my car taken apart and I wanted whatever the major issue was to be fixed. According to you, it was the intake manifold gasket, nothing else. The fact that I paid $2000 and the heat module management/unit was not identified as needing to be fixed/replaced, I feel like I got extorted. My car was not a priority even after I said I had a rental car, my car was at your shop for 23 days in total. January 7th, 2026 I picked my car up and I have been doing minimal driving. January 10th the check engine light is back on again. (The issue I just paid a total of $6083.56). Not including rental cars charges of $726. At this point I do not want to take my truck back because it is apparent and I mean no disrespect that your shop does not know how to fix my vehicle. I would like some of my money back.

When I had an older Jeep with some serious issues, including a terrible death wobble, they were always kind, understanding, and honest about what was going on. They never tried to upsell me, scare me into unnecessary repairs, or tell me something needed to be fixed when it didn't. They did the work that was needed and were always upfront about the condition of the vehicle. I eventually made the decision on my own to get rid of the Jeep because the ongoing repairs just weren't worth continuing to invest in it. I purchased a newer vehicle and initially started taking it to the dealership, but after seeing how expensive routine maintenance could be, I decided to go back to Kandi and Jason. I've been getting my oil changes and routine maintenance done with them ever since, and I plan to continue using them. Cars and repairs are expensive, and while none of us like seeing the bill, I'd much rather pay someone I trust who is honest, does the work correctly, and tells me things as they are. That's what I appreciate most about Kandi and Jason, they've always treated me fairly, never pressured me into unnecessary work, and have earned my trust. I highly recommend them.

I was verbally told that metal shavings were present inside the rear differential and that the entire differential assembly needed replacement. I was quoted approximately $3,600 for the repair. When I requested written clarification regarding how this diagnosis was made, including whether the differential was drained or opened, the condition of the fluid, whether photos were taken, and what specific testing procedures were used, no documentation was provided to support the claim. I then obtained a second opinion from another licensed mechanic. The vehicle was properly lifted, road tested, and inspected, and the rear differential was not identified as the source of the issue. The concern was resolved without replacing the differential. My mechanic also contacted this shop directly to ask about the basis for their diagnosis and did not receive any clear explanation. It is not possible to visually confirm internal metal shavings inside a sealed differential without draining the fluid or opening the case. No such procedure was documented on my repair order. Based on my experience, this did not feel like a transparent or customer focused shop. I strongly encourage customers to request written proof and seek a second opinion before authorizing major repairs.

The oil was changed and my wife was Happy. Friday evening we were in the carpool lane heading into Phoenix when we heard a loud bang and continuous scraping noise. My gauges were fine, no smoke, no significant change in the ability to steer the car so I exited the freeway and pulled into the first safe place to stop. I called Sun Devil Auto and left a message (it was shortly after 6PM and they were closed). That phone call was not returned. We got a tow truck and paid for them to tow our vehicle to Sun Devil Auto. As of this writing, we haven't been reimbursed for the cost of the tow. I submitted the requested receipt on Saturday. Sun Devil called Saturday morning because our car was in their lot and they had our keys. I explained what happened. To their credit, there was no pushback and they agreed to do the repair. We were notified at 3:30 yesterday that the car was done. We were watching a movie at Harkins which didn't get out of until 30 minutes after they closed so I said we'd use our other set of keys to pick up the car and get the keys Monday. Bottom line - Exceptionally bad experience with the oil change, promising response (the jury is still out since we haven't been reimbursed for the tow) September 11- Update. When I picked up my keys on Monday Jacob promised to call when the towing reimbursement is approved. No phone call yet.

Keep in mind i have an extremely limited tool selection so i can't really lift the truck off the ground or inspect anything without totally and fully ripping apart the engine bay, which is why i had brought it to the shop for a diag in the first place. After dropping off the truck, i walked next door and waited outside the starbucks for about an hour, to see my truck enter the shop. after maybe 10-15 minutes, i had received a diagnosis through email about the "cracked thermostat housing" I Spent 200$ for a diagnosis on a "cracked thermostat housing" and was quoted almost $1000 to replace, something i can in no way, shape, or form afford at the moment. After spending about 4 hours in a parking lot replacing said thermostat housing, inspecting the old part, and verifying there was NO cracks or leaks in the old thermostat housing, i had called back to ask about why the diag was incorrect. the incorrect diagnosis wasn't really the issue, it was more of the "oh well, i'm just going off of what the tech said" attitude that threw me off. is it reall worth 200$ for the tech to barely glance over the engine bay and return it to me with a false diagnosis? I guess you win some and you lose some :/

Service was a in house rebuild on a 2006 F150 transmission. Mike takes care of the rebuilds and his expertise shows. Oh I guess now is a good time to mention that this vehicle has 439,000 plus miles on it. And the transmission had never been touched as far as repairs, just fluid and filter changes when I remembered they were due. They stand behind the work and do understand the customers needs. Had a slight issue after picking the truck up that was promptly addressed even though it was actually not related to the rebuild. My shift cable was so old that it would not retain adjustment. It was 20 years old at least. Mike found the issue and actually walked me out so I could see what was happening. Part was ordered, wrong part was shipped over to there shop twice due to it not matching the vin number. When they found the part number after removal. Nadira actually ran and picked it up to help expedite the repair. Mike took care of the labor to install and I just paid for the cable. They didn't have to do this, this was above and beyond since this was not related to the actual work preformed or quoted. Transmission has about 350 miles on it now and wow its working way better than I could have dreamed of shifts are on point and smoother than I would have ever dreamed off. Way to go, This shop is on my highly recommend list and I will be taking all my business here if the need ever arises. Shop has my vote for business of the year, way to go to the whole crew involved.
