The pieces were smaller and easier to handle than I'm used to as well. It lights easily and burns very clean. This is an EXCELLENT product. My only problem with it is that it comes at a very premium price, at least 3 times what I normally pay for firewood. Also, the pieces were a couple of inches too short for my racks, which are designed for 18" logs. If you're a firewood connoisseur, this is the place to get your wood.

Terrible company. The guy who runs this is argumentative and has a reputation for being a jerk. My…read moreown personal interaction with this company resulted in a full blown argument because he wanted to come over with no notice and trim my trees a day before it was scheduled to be done. This was, he said, because it was convenient for him. When I informed him it wasn't a good time for my family, (My kid was taking an exam for a college course online) he went nuts, screaming and yelling about it being a "scheduling error" and saying "my wife screwed up my schedule, it's all her fault". Eventually I was told that either he was coming to cut my trees right then, or it would be never. I opted for never. Personally, I got no respect for a guy who puts his name as the owner, but blames his wife for the problems. In speaking with my friend, a fellow business owner who knew this guy very well, I found out that he's got a real reputation for this type of interaction.
