The wood burned so beautifully that we used our wood-burning stove all winter, until we ran out of wood in February...so this year we ordered a whole cord. It was again neatly stacked, and the wood is burning great. After the delivery was made, the owner of the company called to make sure we were satisfied. This is an excellent company, their prices are fair, and we will continue to use them every year. We highly recommend them, and the extra fee for the stacking is well worth it.

I requested the oak and he said he had a cord and a half however he didn't send any because he said he didn't have enough. He advised he was sending mixed hardwood and no oak but the wood I received is a lot of soft wood as it very lightweight and powdery when it burns. I paid a lot of money for the wood to not be fully mixed hardwood. Disappointed.

In fact, they had multiple team members reach out to myself and my neighbor, whom we did a project together (tree removal). The project walk-through was excellent and the quote came the same day. I liked when the customer representative walked through with me, asked if I was a veteran (and I am), and provided me a veteran discount. The quote was obviously the best, as we went with them, but even if another vendor came in at the same price, I would probably go with JL Tree bc of their responsiveness. I had one vendor who didn't call me back for over 30 days! The day of the project was excellent. The foreman and I walked through the project (three tree removals). One large tree took 1.5 hours and two medium trees took one hour each. The team cleaned up everything nicely, and the bulk removal came two days later. Thanks JL Tree Service.

Edit: I did speak to someone, but it took three different tries. Responding directly to the email to coordinate times led to a real person, not a bot. They apologized and made sure to have someone there the same day. The wood was stacked as requested, although I did have to request they pass on the exact location to stack it since I wasn't going to be home. That's important because the email says "no need to be home, we will take care of it." Not sure how since the order form doesn't ask for a location to stack the wood. I don't enjoy giving bad reviews. I think they worked to make it right, but I still see some flaws in the system. 3 stars.
