I have found that cleaning…read moremy vehicle by hand drastically comes out better than taking it to an automatic car wash and following the car wash process as recommended at auto max definitely makes the exterior of even my 2007 vehicle look almost brand new. However, being that I am a bit ocd I have a tendency to run the 20-minute clock out more than once whilst getting it perfectly clean so I then have to restart the clock and I'm not sure if that's costing me extra. I would really like it to run until I stop it. Another thing, the car wash down the street offers free rags and TootnTotum offers free vacuums. This car wash has no extra amenities like that and is also the most expensive (that is partially my fault). I feel like since the drying option is often broken and when even when it is working, is very subpar, some free rags or a better drying method should be available. The spot-free rinse will definitely leave horrible water spots on all glass, especially the mirrors. Another thing is that the vacuums are absolutely horrible, honestly 10/10 bad. They barely do the job and the nozzle is way too large to fit into crevices. Not only that but they shut off too soon as well. Lastly, almost every time I come, some instrument is broken. Most of the time that's the dryer, today it was the Tire/Engine cleaner that stopped working as I was trying to clean my engine bay, sometimes it's the foam brush. Can't really ever know what is not going to work but I do expect that every time I come, something that I am planning to use is not going to work. I really do like that they added the tap pay so that is definitely great and the soaps available are also definitely great. I do hope this review helps.

We had a tire blowout just outside of Amarillo late in the evening. Roadside assistance initially…read moreindicated they could tow the vehicle to a shop, but that all shops were closed, leaving us trying to figure out how to possibly get us and our cargo to a hotel in addition to fixing the car. Luckily, after some digging, they found that Flowers was open until midnight, and scheduled a tow truck to drop off there. Two hours later, however, the tow company still hadn't even started a trip out, and the number provided for them simply went to a voicemail that was misconfigured. I called Flowers directly instead, hoping to just confirm that they were in fact open until midnight (which was quickly approaching), and that's where things turned around. Not only were they still open, but he said that he'd wait until we got there -- even if it was after midnight -- and to call him back if the tow company still wasn't en route and he'd make arrangements to come out instead. And he did exactly that, driving out and picking us up, dropping the rest of the family off at a hotel, mounting and balancing a replacement tire on the wheel, and then driving back out and installing the tire, getting me back on the road just before 2 AM. To top it off, he did all this with the focus on getting the problem fixed before worrying about how he was going to get paid. If that's not the definition of excellent service, I don't know what is.
