Note: Yes, these guys take their time, but it shows and it's worth the wait. Bring something to do, or plan to catch a ride to do your business. They'll secure your car on the lot when they're finished. These guys are top notch! Very impressed with my car wash! Came in on a Friday morning, they got me right in. Wait was about an hour, but well worth it. Lobby could use some more comfortable chairs and possibly some water or coffee wouldn't hurt. Car was bug caked and deep set paint stains, but these guys turned it back to brand new again. Great job! read more

These fellas did an outstanding job washing my Ram 3500 DRW truck! It was pretty dirty after traveling from the San Diego area, thru Arizona and New Mexico, up into the mountains of Colorado where we drove up and back seven miles on a dirt/gravel road to visit relatives before finally driving to Amarillo. The truck looks brand new! Stop in and give your vehicle some love. No brushes, hand washed and dried. read more

If I could leave a 0 start review I sure would! My car was brought here under the conditions to get the stain from the backseat that I had got my from workplace. I took it in about 12:15 and there really wasn't even any cars there they took my name and number and told me they would call me when it was done. 5:00pm rolls around and they haven't called me so I stop by there and they told me another 30 minutes. When they finally get my car done i get in and the seats are SOAKING wet! When I was driving away i looked in my backseat and it wasn't even there they tried putting my backseat into another car! They tore up the dealership plastic off my floors so now I have to buy floor mats and now my car smells so bad like old musty water. I would never recommend this place to anyone EVER! read more

My wash that I paid $45 for was just mediocre. I had to pay $10 extra for bugs on my front vehicle and they didnt even remove them all. My chrome wheels were also streaked horribly bad, the interior doors casings did not even look great. The main problem is, they put the wrong floor mats back in my car. They were the back ones so I didn't immediately notice. They replaced mine with some that were way to small and completely filthy. I'm returning when they reopen and hope they will make it right but my nice floor mats were clearly put in someone else's vehicle. Always inspect your car before leaving, my fault for not immediately catching it but still this is a problem. read more

Called and made an appointment for 8:30am. I should have known that I made a mistake when the gentleman abruptly ended our call and I called him back to him telling me oh I hung up I have all your information on caller ID. Fast forward to the appointment date. I show up at 8:30 sharp to a closed location. Stayed around until 8:45 because I desperately needed my vehicle clean for a long trip out of town but no one showed up. Stopped by yesterday to verify they were going to be open today. The guy said yes and this morning emptied my truck and had someone to follow me so I could get complete detail and my truck. Drove 30 min just to find out the manager lied and they wasn't open today!!! read more

Let me preface this by saying that I don't normally post anything negative, but I am making an exception for this review. They washed my car but it took OVER an HOUR and I didn't even have to wait in line!!!. The guy talked on his phone and his coworker almost the entire time. Then when I asked how much longer because I was in a hurry and needed to get back to work , he MOCKED ME to his coworker and said " oh, SHE'S in a hurry" then proceeded to take his sweet time. We were just passing through town and needed to get the Texas sized bugs off of the cars and found Old Fashioned Hand Wash on Yelp and decided to give it a try. The staff was polite, professional, thorough, and fast. They did a GREAT job on my custom car and my wife's minivan. If I ever pass through town again I'll be sure to use them again. read more

Worst customer service ever. No customer service. I took my car to this business on dec 3rd to have car cleaned from top to bottom, they did fantastic job, however they destroyed my drivers side floor mat in the process. My mat has snaps that hold it to the floor, when they went to take them out of the car they just pulled, when they did they pulled the button out of the mat, now when I called to complain they acussed me of going home and tearing the mat up, REALLY!!!! They the manager from the coulter store refurred me to the manage of the western store, this gentleman assured me he would make it right by fixing or replacing. Well 2 weeks later 2 voice messages and many calls later he won't do anything and when I confronted him he turned into a greatbig 2 yr old screaming and refusing to talk to me. I too have a temper and was screaming at him. Then called the police. Which shows me he never intended to do anything he just thought I would go away, well it's to expensive to take him to court I've checked, so I will just review is awful, poorly functioning business. read more

This is for the Hillside/Coulter location: I chose this place because they appear to be busy all the time and it was close to where I live. I took my vehicle in on 06/25/16 @ 11:40 a.m. and got a call from them at 5:01 p.m. Oh, they charge a storage fee if you don't pick before 5:00 p.m. When I got up there they we working on another vehicle, otherwise I'm sure a fee would have been applied. The 1st thing I noticed was the popping and static coming from my speakers (factory not aftermarket) and the key wasn't in the ignition. 2nd: I felt the floorboards and they were soaking wet, even though they claim they use an "extraction process" so the carpets dry faster. I guess they didn't use this process for my vehicle. 3rd: My floor mats were not in the vehicle, but this was probably because the carpet was soaked still. 4th: The interior was not close to being clean. Imagine taking a dirty wet rag and quickly dragging it across the dash, console, seats and door openings. The center console did not look like it had been touched, the cup holder had not been cleaned and there was blue ink pen on the center arm rest. The seats hadn't been cleaned and there was still debris in the crevices (in all of them). The map pockets hadn't been touched. The instrument panel, stereo, A/C panel and seats looked like it was sprayed and let dry without wiping clean and could see the drips everywhere. Every headrest still had spots on them and had not been cleaned. When I asked what they had done to my audio system/speakers and he replied by saying, "Maybe they were that way before you brought it in and we didn't "touch" you stereo." Yeah, that was obvious you hadn't "touched it". 5th: the exterior wasn't clean and had streaks everywhere. The chrome wasn't clean and had streaks. The rims still had road grime on them. The tires had the tall tell sign they had been sprayed in one spot (had the dry spot on them after it had been moved). Basically, I could have driven across the street to T-N-T or Amarillo Auto Clean (both are drive throughs and do a better wash job). He said if we didn't mind leaving it until Monday, he would fix all the wrongs and he would be done by 1:00 p.m. On Monday the 27th, at 1:00 p.m. I got a text saying I could pick my vehicle up at 2:00 p.m. Ok, wasted my lunch break because he broke his promise, but maybe he's doing a really good job. Ummm, No! I send my daughter to pick it up and promptly get a phone call telling me it's still dirty. He tells my daughter he closes at 5:00 p.m., so I figured I'd take off a little early and then he tells her he wants to leave by 4:30 p.m now. So, now I have to take off a hour off early to discuss my still dirty vehicle. I get there and see that nothing had been corrected from Saturday, even though he said he personally cleaned it the 2nd time. I tell him it is unacceptable and not worth the $140.00 for a "complete detail" job. I ask him if he would be satisfied if it were him and he tells me "No" and understands why I'd be upset but he didn't give me any "guarantees". He refuses to negotiate or offer any discount other than he'd clean another vehicle for a reduced price. Again, ummm, No! They can't detail the 1st vehicle and now wants to con more money out of me by offering to "detail another vehicle". I explain to him that it was merely a bad car wash with a poor attempt at making look like it'd been detailed. Further, the soaking wet carpet was still wet to the touch and the vehicle has a moldy/musky smell. THE ONLY THING that looked like any effort had been put into it was the engine compartment, but could possibly be the root of the stereo/speaker problem. I would not recommend taking your vehicle to "Old Fashion Car Wash" or "Rick's Car Wash and Detail" as his text indicated. Maybe they do a good $10.00 Basic car wash as Madeline M. posted back on 8/22/13, but I would not recommend them to "Detail" your vehicle. Now, off to pay someone to diagnose the stereo/speaker problem and try to figure out how to get rid of the nasty mildew/musty smell. read more
