Walking in, I was immediately reminded of the Chinese restaurants I grew up with. A quaint little hole in the wall, nothing fancy just a few tables with people waiting for their orders. We were greeted as we walked up to the counter by a friendly staff member. There were menus on the counter and pictures of dishes on the wall. My go to Chinese favorite is Shrimp with Broccoli extra spicy. If a restaurant can get that right they will have a long time customer. We ordered my favorite dish and my husband had the General Tso's chicken, both came with fried rice. We added a order of the vegetable spring rolls and shrimp rolls. We were in and out within 15 minutes or so after ordering and condiments are available on the side. The vegetable spring rolls were large and crispy, the taste was ok same with the spring rolls. My shrimp with broccoli included lots of shrimp and plenty of broccoli with a heavy brown sauce that had a weird aftertaste. The fried rice was good. My husband's dish he said had too much breading but the taste was ok. Overall it wasn't a bad experience. The portions are large, the prices are reasonable and the service was good. They offer a healthy menu with steamed food options without the unhealthy sauces which I will try the next time I order from here.

My only concern, and this is an exceedingly minor one, is that the noodles were a little bit chewier than I prefer. Otherwise, for food court food, it does the job well. In addition, the young woman working the cash register was the very model of speed and efficiency. I don't necessarily know that I would go out of my way to eat here, but it's good and does its job. It's a shame that the mall that it's in feels kind of deserted and post-apocalyptic, but that's a shopping mall in 2017.
