Once the technicians were done, I noticed two gouges in my dashboard and scratches along the passenger A pillar. When I called Phil, he had the same technicians come out to inspect the damage as they thought it was residual glue. They admitted to dropping a saw and causing the damage. At that time, Phil offered my money back since going through an insurance claim would be to cumbersome. Fast forward to April 2025, I notice puddles of water on the driver and passenger floor. I bring this to the dealer for diagnosis and they advise the quality of the windshield replacement is at fault the water is coming through the cabin from the windshield seal. After paying the dealership $1,300 to replace the "replaced" windshield, I advised Phil of this. He got defensive and aggressive that I should have let him repair the leaks. Why would anyone, in their right mind, allow Phil and his technicians to repair their vehicle when it was already too much to fix the damage 4 months ago? Don't waste your time or money.

I had a crack that happened and spread Saturday afternoon and by Sunday it was fixed very well by Ian. He told me that due to the climate and moisture it wouldn't be a perfect job and that makes sense as it was snowing with cold temps. He was very responsive via phone and on a Sunday helped to schedule me in and have it taken care of. I had most places that would push me out a couple of days and maybe have me get a new windshield. The crack was bullseye crack a little smaller than a dime and spread about 8 inches. The quoted price was very fair and much less than the big shops. Others services required me to bring my car to them for an estimated 3 hour job. Also Phil was between $175 and $250 cheaper. Phil told me my windshield likely did not have to be calibrated, which would cost an additional $300. He was right--my smart cruise control and lane recognition systems work fine. I'm glad I chose Superglass and will use them in the future if another stone cracks my windshield.

I checked out reviews from the large chains as well as the local companies that did auto glass repair. Some of the larger companies wouldn't get on the phone & you had to go on their websites. They asked a lot of person questions like "What is your insurance company" and "What is the policy #"? I didn't think that this was necessary and started thinking that the price would be higher if they were going through insurance and/or how would this affect my deductible. So I when I called Re-Action, the phone was answered by a friendly guy who gave me a price over the phone right away. I was wondering if he was going to use was the same type of windshield that was on the car. He offered to stop by and see my windshield. It is during the Covid-19 crisis and he was wearing a mask and gloves. This made me feel very comfortable because I feared that if I took it to the dealer or a chain, they might not be wearing the PPE. He was able to get the same windshield and put it in on my next available day. He called first to confirm that he would be there on time. He came with another man and they did a beautiful job. They were fast, had all the right tools, efficient, very afordable, pleasant, professional and competent. They wore masks and gloves the whole time and wiped down the car where they made contact. The took the rearview mirror and inspection sticker off the old windshield and put it back on so that you would never know that it was replaced. The lifetime warrantee for work done was greatly appreciated. It's important to Shop Local at this time especially.
