I went with their mid-level car wash, which was about fifteen dollars (about the growing rate). The staff was friendly enough and the car wash left me car clean and me feeling better about getting the car washed (it was a bit too long between car washes). This Top Dog makes the one near us in East Orlando more of a bottom dog. This one usually has all of the parts working, it seems bigger, and although I don't use the other services here, it's nice to know Top Dog offers other things like oil changes and detailing. It's kind of hidden behind Popeyes and Sushi Pop and the Miller Ale House so if you can find it, you can probably weave your way to it on the south side of Mitchel Hammock road. There's a traffic light for ease of leaving if you're like Fievel and going west. They have an Express Only lane when entering the wash so if you're a member, you can use that lane and not get stuck behind someone who didn't pull close enough to the machine so they have to open their door to put the card in, and end up dropping it and you're watching the cars in the other lane go through when you stuck behind that dang silver Toyota Camry. read more

I only wish they would do the quick interior detailing that was available before. ALSO.....do these new owners not live and work in hot, humid Florida?? The pollen has been bad so far this year. I decided to take my car through top dog on the way home from grocery shopping. They tried to talk me into a monthly plan and I'm so glad I didn't agree. I paid for the second to top tier wash, got the wash and then headed to the gas station. When i got out of my car, I noticed the pollen was still all over the middle section of my hood. The sides were clean and the high part of my hood was fine but the entire middle was still covered. I've never had this problem before at any of the washed ice been through over the last few years of owning this car. read more

It's about time I've made a review of this place! I'll admit it, I'm pretty lazy when it comes to car washes so I always resort to the drive thru ones. When they first opened, they offered free car washes and I've honestly never been to any other Top Dog location since that free wash. Just for $30 a month, you can get unlimited car washes! They have gnarly discounts for health care heroes too! All the employees here are friendly and are responsive. The car wash itself does a really good job getting all the gunk off your car. They also have a bug washing station, vacuum and window wiping self service. I come here twice a month and I look forward to it! read more

The reason car washes exist is because of the Lake Jessup bridge..... If you drive 417 at night you know what I'm talking about. The amount of mosquitos that pile up on the front bumper of my WHITE car is disturbing. Trying to get them off is ridiculous and if you leave them on they'll chip your paint. Top Dog does an excellent job on the inside and outside of my car. For $20 a month you can get unlimited washes and for $10 more, each time, they'll detail the inside as well. The only reason I took off a star is because they did a pretty bad job detailing last time, but I haven't lost hope. This is the best car wash I've found in the area and I'll update my review to five stars if the detailing is back up to par. read more

I really hate washing my car, but I hate the idea of it getting jacked up in a machine washer too. Laziness prevails! In Florida, where it is so hot outside and washing your car by hand can be a miserable experience, it is nice to be able to offload that responsibility, particularly when love bug season hits. I signed up for their most basic prepaid service, which is $20/month. You get unlimited basic car washes at that price. That's a great deal in my book. They also have vacuums, with a designated separate area for the monthly prepaid members. My expectations for these vacuums were very, very low. Imagine my surprise when I discovered their vacuums actually have very good suction! So far, I am pleased with my membership here, and let's face it, the kiddos love a trip through the car wash (maybe the adults too). So yup, I'm a fan! read more

Today was my second and last visit to this location. I will start off by saying the staff is very friendly and are there to assist. I give this location 3 start because of the actual car wash. When I drive out and park to use the vacuum I noticed my car was so wet that you would think there was no dryer at the end, the vacuums are weak. As I drove home there were noticeable soap spots on my windshield. Once home I noticed the big bird poop spot was still on the roof of my car. This car wash is really going downhill. The last few times I've used it, the attendant no longer prewashes the grill and back and today their tire shine didn't work. This also comes after weeks with one of their rotary washer not spinning so the right side of the car didn't get clean. Also, even when running properly I give it a 6 or 7 on the wash job. I don't expect the wash to be perfect from the machine but it misses many areas. The old washing system down by Lockwood/Mitchell Hammock did a MUCH better wash job. Probably going to have to give up the monthly service or greatly lower my expectations. read more

I will be honest with you.... I mainly go to this car wash to entertain my almost 3 year old son. I do this on days when he is driving me absolutely nuts. I say "Hey! Let's go to the car wash!" and then away we go. Happy happy! I have only ever done the manager's special here and it's about $20... and I have heard only $14 on Wednesdays so I will keep that in mind for next time. The people who work here are very courteous and helpful with any questions you have. The car wash itself is like a night club once you are in it. I usually put on "Let it Go" and jam out with my kid... you think i am kidding but this is my life, folks. haha There's also a rain coupon... if your car gets rained on 48 hrs after your wash you can come in for a free wash! They get a 1-star for the sole purpose of having to write this review. When you have to take your car through the same car was MULTIPLE times in order for it to get clean, you might have a problem. No, my car is not filthy; I'm simply trying to get dirt and bug guts off of it. What I get in return is spots all over the windshield and spots of residual from whatever chemical du jour they utilize at the wash. This isn't the first time I've utilized this car wash; I'm a firm believer in chances. But I'm done. I took my car to get washed and paid for the middle grade wash (guard dog I believe). When I came out the grill of my car was still extremely dirty (it only had bugs on it, nothing too hard to clean). I requested another wash from an associate and was given a free wash of the lowest level. After coming out of the second wash the grill of my car was still filthy. It did not even clean the marks on the outside of my windows. I do not recommend this business. read more

Clean and seems to be well managed. Employees are courteous. Coming from Miami, I thought prices here would be a bit cheaper but this exact same wash down south is a bit cheaper and my old wash honestly did a better job but no biggie. My biggest issue is that this particular wash barely dries your car as well as adds soap at the end without properly rinsing. I paid for the top service and this is still the case. I wound up having to dry way more of my car than I should have and there was still soap left. Not worth complaining to an employee in my opinion as they're not about to change the programming of the machine, but maybe the owners will. I'll stick around for a bit and hope things improve. read more

It's been a been a long time coming for the Mitchell Hammock Mister Carwash. Over the past 2 years I seem to get less while paying more. Gone are the simplest, most basic things towels, bug pre scrub and brushes. I've been a titanium member for almost 3 years and now new GM Tarin says that the car can't get brushes anymore and the pressure washer nozzle isn't working. He said that I'm still getting an underbody rinse and a tire shine --only $45 to get some cheap tire shine guys. I told him that my car still has soap and dirt all over it, I pointed out that my windshield still had bugs on it after 2 washes. I told him that the pressure nozzle didn't work and he didn't believe me and told me that my car received the service that I paid for. I went again and then he realized that the nozzle was broken, so apparently everyone didn't get the wash that they paid for that morning. Apparently he told me that he was aware that this part breaks a lot and he needs to call maintenance to fix it. Tarin refused to provide me with his full name or a business card, he told me to go on their website and call the number. Basically, he wanted me to call 800 number and make me someone else's problem. I canceled my membership right there and then. The staff at this place ruined my day and still made me leave with dirty car. The absolute worst customer service of any business I have ever used. Machine was broken and only washed one side of the car. I notified the Manager (I use the term loosely) and he said to run the car through again. Same results, only this time he says that he told me the right side wasn't working properly - he never said that. He KNEW the machine was only washing one side of the car (the back of the car was not washed either) and yet he was happy to take my $14. Not an "I'm sorry, here's a credit for a future wash" - nothing - he literally turned around and walked back to his "office". Interesting approach. Rather snotty attitude as well. Really bad customer service. Maybe that will change when Mister opens their Oviedo location, but I'll never know since I will never go back. Went in a week ago to get my car cleaned not only is there equipment sub par to actually clean, it damaged my car I called afterwards not only with a dirty car but about the damage I was told to come in and fill out a damage report I did it the same day. I was told someone would call me back within a few days it's 7 days later I have made multiple phone calls each and every day I have been given empty promises and promised the regional manager Austin would call me back He must be some sort of figment of imagination because he has never called back even after me calling again multiple times a day!!!! This isn't the only car wash in the area save yourself the headache and go somewhere else! These kids that run this place could care less about you, customer service, your vehicle or any damage! Be very clear I had to ask why am I filling out this damage form I was advised because your damage will be covered by us. We will make the appointment with a dealership and pay for the repairs! I got a detail with wax, clay and polish. My car winded up looking a lot better when it was done. The only thing missing was the detail. Windows and dashboard were filthy and not even touched. Some spots on the car needed to be done as well. For the price it was not worth it. Not to mention from drop off to pickup it took about 6 hours when I was told 3. The unlimited car wash for 19.99 gets 5 stars, detailing a 1 for bait and switch! I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, to late for a full detail. At the window is a board with pricing. The full interior and exterior is $199. I am holding this board when approached and asked it there is anything I am looking at. I point at the $199, and am told it's to late to get in for that one. I ask if I can make an appointment for Sunday, and am told I can just bring car in early and leave with them. We settle on 10am. I arrive at 9:30 and am told it is $229. Ask for a manger, show him the board with price, he takes the board and throws it in the trash, then tries to hand me a blue sheet with the higher price. I explain that wasn't the price I was shown when I set the appointment. He says sorry. I say bye! Bait and switch really is about as low as you can go, and is no way to treat a customer. read more
