They have a few Christmas items, but not as much as they had before. Prices are on the average side. I overpaid a bit by a few dollars for a vintage apple pie plate they had, but I loved it so I bought it. The woman who owns it is super nice and very friendly. I have had nice conversations with her the times I have gone in. It is a place we only go to when up in North Conway because we live too far for a day visit, but we visit every time we are up there.

Upon returning home and checking our receipt, we discovered the man who checked me out just added the cost of the stolen drink to my bill. They stop for a bathroom break halfway through and this is the gas station they stopped in. The workers were really kind and fully prepared to handle the swarm of 50+ people all filing in at once. They have clean restrooms, a lot of snack and beverage options, and some good NH souvenirs. I definitely think this is the best option for a gas station within a few hours drive.

The people who work here are friendly and very knowledgeable about their products. Last year I was in Home Depot in Manchester picking up some trim molding. It seemed a little expensive. I called White Mountain Lumber to compare prices. I got Evie(super cute!) on the phone and when she gave me the price, I almost fainted! Buying it at White Mountain lumber paid for my gas on one trip from Manchester to Berlin, a trip I was frequently making at the time. Then it dawned on me. With Berlin quickly becoming a tourist destination with the 1000 mile Ride the Wilds" trail system exploding in popularity, people are traveling there from all over New England with trailers behind their trucks and SUV's. You are also only minutes from the Appalachian Trail, great fishing, jaw dropping scenery, kayaking, snowmobiling - the Berlin area has it all!
