The playground for the littles is awesome! It's shaded with several play structures. They always made sure the kiddos had water and wore sunscreen. The 2-3 class is so fun! Ms. Nancy and Ms. Adrieanna are always leading the class in playful activities. Just this week they have played with bubbles, had a water fun day, and baked cookies. At pick up, the class has been dancing, reading, or playing. I walk into a room of joyful learning everyday. The big kid class is amazing. Ms. Yolie and Ms. Jessica are an all-star team! The students develop friendship skills, emotional awareness, and early literacy practice. They celebrate imagination through play. The classroom set up is a dream- a house, sensory tables, dress up options, and plenty of art. My kiddo adores Ms. Yolie because she made her feel special and loved every day. Overall, some of the highlights of Smart Tree include an in-house chef that prepares delicious lunches and snacks. There are community building events like Back to School breakfast, Mother's/Father's Day celebrations, Halloween trunk or treat, and the absolutely spectacular art show! The directors communicate frequently and respond promptly. They- like the rest of the staff- are so kind. We also receive pictures of our kiddos throughout the day through the app. We are so happy here! Highly recommend! My husband and I toured a good amount of schools before deciding to have them go here since we know that we would like to keep them at the same school until they go to kindergarten. Teachers and administration really care about the well being of all the students. My 4 year old that started when he was 2.5 and my 1.5 year old have grown so much since being there. They have their daily routines and activities keeping them busy and helping them learn (something that would be really hard to do at home). During summer they even have summer activities like foam parties, swim day and a day where they bring wild life to the school for the kids to see. It seems like it was recently renovated so it's pretty modern and clean. All the rooms have windows so they get a good amount of natural light and they are so spacious! Parents are able to stop by anytime to check on our little ones as long as it doesn't interfere with their naps. We could always message through the app Lillio if we have any questions or concerns. Teachers keep us posted through out the day with pictures what they ate and their nap times. For the younger ones we even get their diaper updates. We were afraid we couldn't overcome such a terrible experience that gave us nightmares or we couldn't even sleep just thinking about our child's entire experience and how can a daycare run with advertised as "high quality/STEM," but no integrity and moral values....We absolutely could not continue our child's daycare program there anymore. We continued our search again for another daycare and big thank you to San Gabriel Kids Klub and staff for being there for us since the very first day we took our tour. What we saw was night and day, compared to the previous daycare and were stunned that we didn't find this hidden gem daycare earlier. My wife and I kept saying "what a blessing in disguise" that we found this place after such a horrible experience at the other daycare. What we saw on our tour: - front desk greeted every single family/childs name. - children are all so happy - the teachers knew all students names, even if the student was not in their classroom. - all students were engaged in activities (not a single kid by themselves or a group of 2-3 by theirselves). - the teacher/student ratio was fair. - All the teachers engaged and were attentive to all the students. - My wife loves the scheduled program and Curriculum based for developmental skills for each age. - Staff is extremely caring - Diverse and Cultured - Private kitchen for entire school/cafeteria - Children's Restroom are separate from classroom - All students knows each other from all ages - Tons of different activities for kids - Easy to talk to and welcomes you with open arms - Respectful where rules around - campus is strict but fair to understand We love how all teachers work together and care for each students personality. They all take their time with the students and consider the parents, along with understanding how important it is to teach culture to all ethnicities. This showed me how special it is to be a part of Kids Klub. Also, they have 3 locations and have night and weekend programs as well. We love the flexibility Kids Klub offers, from different schedule of programs, to night/weekend care, to seeing Summer CAMP, to picking up older students for after-school care program. We are so sad to be moving away from the area, and we hope to be lucky enough find a camp and aftercare that is just as wonderful. I cannot say enough about the the staff as well as the other families who attend- it feels like a little family. My two children love going and easily scamper off at drop-off and don't want to leave when it's pickup. The staff is loving, patient, kind, and have great communication, and the activities are engaging and fun. The hours of the camp are dream come true for working parents (7:30- 6 pm), and even when I get off a little early, my kids beg to stay til close to closing. The field trips are also great. The freshly prepared food is also kid-friendly but nutritious, and my kids enjoyed the breakfast, lunch, and snacks included with the camp, and it made it easier getting out of the door in the morning. We are grateful that our children were cared for with such loving care, and as they like to say at the camp, "Kids Klub rocks!" Thank you for everything Kids Klub SGR!

My son had a difficult start being in school the first time, but REC always showed compassion and patience to help him adapt. They provide breakfast and lunch which allowed my son to try new foods. He would come home with worksheets and drawings daily. REC always have updates on my son's growth and things he was learning at the time. My son enjoyed the playground a lot, said his classroom was fun, and at the end didn't want to leave REC. He would ask to be picked up later so he can stay with his class. Our child began with major separation anxiety, but thanks to the teachers who stuck by her side, she began dancing and having fun in as little as four days and the crying at drop-off stopped after 2 weeks, at which point she began to run inside to be with her teachers and friends. The facility is very clean, safe, and built with growing kids in mind. They have a really good curriculum and great activities in each classroom. In the toddler class (ages 18-36mo & where our child was) they have a 6-to-1 child/teacher ratio. If I had to complain about one thing, it's that I wish we could get more photos/videos and updates throughout the day, but since I also don't want the teachers on cell-phones all day long, it's an okay trade off knowing that our kid will come home happy everyday and sometimes with cool art projects in hand! The staff also does a great job notifying us of any incidents (booboos, bites, runny noses) that need our immediate attention or knowledge. They have a good, effective covid policy in place too and if I'm not mistaken only one child tested positive for covid since the pandemic began, but the child stayed home and quarantined. The entire school/staff was then dismissed to get tested and the results were all negative. To protect everyone, they check everyone's temps upon arrival and they won't hesitate to send children home for high temps or any covid-like symptoms. I would highly recommend anyone to come here, especially if it's their child's first school. They do a wonderful job.

My son has grown to be so well mannered because of the care that Landy has provided. There is a long waitlist, I waited almost 8 months before I was even consider. I applied while I was living in Chicago, and was waitlisted. Also her school is small could only accommodate maybe 15-16 students max so that is why getting in is so hard. I wish I had more children to send to her but I don't. My son was taught everything other schools probably would never have focus on, he was able to dress himself and be fully potty train by the age of 14months. He was always super clean when he came home, they changed his clothes about 3 times a day. My little one continued being super clean on his own because of this. I just had lots of laundry weekly The whole school was super clean, it's a home daycare/preschool. Speaking Chinese at home was required to come to her school so she could continue this with the kids, I'm so glad I found her. My little boy speaks fluent Cantonese and Mandarin because of this. The bad thing about being at Landy's is that the families especially us all got spoil, now trying to find anything close to this will be difficult and transitioning my son to a public school has been hard....he now comes home all dirty Another thing I have to praise her about is that she stayed open for all the essential families during the pandemic, she gave life to the kids while the rest of the whole world was suffering with in-home learning with their schools.
