I've been sending my daughter to Kiddy Tyme Learning Center for over two months now, and I've had nothing but positive experiences. While I was initially hesitant due to some older negative reviews, I'm glad I gave it a chance. The staff are genuinely caring and attentive. They always keep me updated--whether it's about a sheet or clothes change, a minor allergy concern, or just how my daughter is doing that day. I appreciate the informal, personal updates they provide every time I pick her up. We've received lovely little projects for holidays like Easter and Mother's Day, and I've seen real growth in my daughter's social development. She's noticeably less shy and more confident around others. I also love the structure they've helped her develop--she's gotten into a routine that she even sticks to on weekends. This isn't one of those big-name, fancy Montessori programs, but for the price, the quality of care is solid. The most important thing is that my child is happy, learning, and thriving--and that's exactly what's happening here. It's too bad that this place doesn't have a higher rating. Note this place stayed open during COVID lockdown which I was super appreciative of. My daughter has been attending this daycare for a few months now and her care has been great. I read the other reviews before I enrolled her and thought I'd check out the place for myself since I know how some parents exaggerate and like to put the blame on the school instead of what they should've been doing at home Thank goodness I did because my daughter is now talking more and really looks forward to going to school. Just want to update my review hoping the owner of this business reads the comments. First, we found a "REAL SCHOOL" for my kid where they value safety, sanitation, health and real education -- St. Stephen School in Monterey Park. My kid went there for a year without getting sick and has learned a lot in Reading, Spelling and Math. I know, i know it was a private school. But guess what, it's cheaper than this place. So parents, stop wasting money and put your kid in a real school. Second, we had to move to Murrieta to be close with our family and decided to put my kid in a public school. I was worried at first because of my experience with this horrible place but guess what, PUBLIC SCHOOL IS WAY BETTER THAN THIS PLACE (i dont even want to call this place a school). I want to reiterate how unsafe and unhygienic the playgrounds and the rooms were. We were fooled because it looked good from outside. And I want to reiterate how unprofessional and insensitive the people they call "teachers" in this place. I still remember when my kid used to be afraid knowing that every morning he has to go this place. I still remember when one time, I picked him up early to see why he was afraid to come only to see him in the corner sad while the woman they call "teacher" whom I guess was not really a qualified teacher, was sitting in the middle and kids are all over the place and not learning anything. So parents, this is the 4th time in a month i write this review. Someone has been very scared from the photo I uploaded, and tried to block the review and the photo. I will keep it simple this time so this review won't be deleted, and it is for both infant and then toddler class: 1) Be aware: They let babies cry for very very verrrrrry long time (as Mallory's review is saying below). I experienced it myself when I left my daughter for 20 minutes to bring her snack from market, to return and find her crying hysterically in the same spot, while the so-called teacher is chit-chatting on her phone. And yes, I have seen it with many babies, but didn't think for a second it would happen to mine since I was very respectful and kind with them (apparently this does not work)! 2) Be aware: My little girl got infection in her sensitive area, and when her pediatric told us to give an eye on how they clean her in the daycare, guess what: we saw them (apparently for long time) wipe her from back to front, using one wipes only!! Woow! Just be careful parents, such cleaning method can cause dangerous infections. 3) Be aware: They don't check on your babies' food expiration date. It happened to mine's two times that I found some of her yougart or milk ONE WEEK EXPIRED. 4) Be aware: Don't believe them about activities or some kind of educational stuff. I saw with my own eyes many times that the real job of the so-called teacher is to color, draw and scratch on papers, to be submitted to you as your own baby work! Seriously! 5) Be aware: My baby got injured three times. Each time they hand you notes on what happened. I believed them the 1st time, but after that, I questioned their safety preparation. 6) Be aware: check my photos and see how they let toddlers sleep, next to counter that has objects on them. 7) After my 1st review on this place in September 5th, I was ferociously sent many private texts attacking me, and saw some of them (attackers) writing positive reviews for in matter of days. I reported to yelp but nothing has been done to those reviews. Just be careful parents. ___________ Update to replay to the owner: 1. I'm not sure whom you're talking about, but anyway YOU DON'T HAVE to accept my opinion. It is directed it to parents like me. I'm not the only one whose rating you badly here. I've noticed that even in other websites you have very low ratings, which make me wonder how I never noticed it before I enrolled my precious one at your location. 2. Although again I'm not the person you're mentioning, I don't recall making conversation with you, except for being considerate (once or twice) to you by listening to some boring stories about how hard is your life, of which I don't really care "honestly". I was purely nice to the so-called teachers because as I said in the review, I wanted them to take care of my daughter, as I saw them not truly caring that much about many babies. 3. In all, honestly I didn't go through your whole response, because it seems like a very long ad more than a replay to real problems, so I skip it. 4. After surprisingly visiting the day care 3 times when my 2 year old baby was there , they manage to kick my toddler out of day care , there excuse was , he didn't listen and was out of control ....!!!!hello that is why you have the correct training to teach and manage children !!! my experience visiting with out announcing was terrible , manager and some employees were getting really nervous at one point manager told me I couldn't be there , I protested she didn't fight back after that we had a feeling we were no longer welcome .. to make the story short , a family member was friends with an employee , and sadly the employee advice us to check up on the baby because he was not getting the attention he needed and punished him often by not letting him participate because he didn't follow up . that was weird .. the place is nice and some people are great .. But parents !!!! Guardians !!!! Please !!! My one and only advice is to suddenly show up with out announcing to check up in your child just to make sure everything is on point ... hopefully I'm wrong . But places with children have to be checked often special by us parents ... read more

My daughter came here in 2017 when she was 3 yrs old and I did n for have a pleasant experience her teacher was old and always seemed like she hated her job. This old teacher was definitely burnt out. If old women don't like working with children then they should reconsider their profession or retire! Anyways my daughter was afraid of this woman! I went in for a tour... It was horrible My son is 2 so they showed me where he would be. When the front lady showed me, I saw a small boy crying by himself on the table. He seemed to have been crying for awhile. And where was the teacher? Just standing not paying attention to the child! Plus everything looked very dirty !! read more

I have 2 kids that come to this school and they love the school. I have no problems with any of the teachers or staff they are very caring ppl and helpful. They do different activities with the children daily they also provide a morning snack and afternoon snack after nap time. They have a great playground with a lots of room to play and small tricycles. My son is always coming home learning new things. They even potty train your kids when they feel they are ready so they don't force them into it. They have been attending this school for over 2 yrs. I'm glad I choose this school for my kids. Please ignore all these negative comments I would never keep my kids in a school that would treat my kids in that way. This is a wonderful daycare. My 3 year old son currently attends here and he loves it. The center is always clean and kept. I especially love the fact that the front door is always locked and every parent needs to enter the code before it opens. Many of the teachers have been there for literally years, since my oldest son attended here 3 years ago and are still there. I have never had any problems with any of the teachers and they have always treated my boys great and I have never seen them treat any other children bad other than with love and patience. This is coming from a parent that is very loud and protective of her children and does not hesitate to speak up for the well being of any child had it been otherwise. My 3 year old son currently attends here and he loves it. He has learned so much and gained so much confidence making friends and gaining social skills. Educationally he has learned a lot as well from colors to new words everyday. Now for the cons: Please note they do not provide lunch, but this can be a pro as well. They charge 180 a week for my 3 year old full time. This is why they didnt get 3 stars. They do charge even if your child is out sick lets say that week and dont credit for missed days. Parking can sometimes be crazy on Fridays. Other than the above mentioned, I do highly recommend this daycare! read more

This place sucks my 3 yr old daughter came here for 5 months and she was scared of her older teacher. Red flag. This older teacher never seemed happy. She always looked moody. They do not teach them anything. My daughter didn't learn anything here everytime I unexpectedly stopped by they were just playing. I never saw them doing anything educational.And in the summer when it's extremely hot they take them outside to play even though they do not have shade in the playground. Idiots. read more

The school environment & classrooms are great but I think the teachers doesn't know how to handle kids esp 2-3 yrs. They just teach apple ball etc etc but doesn't work on the behavioral part. Miss Mary, the lady at the counter, has her own assumptions about each kid and declares her thoughts as a final judgement. I have seen the teachers handling the kids roughly pulling them by their hands and dragging them to make them do something. I enrolled my kid in twaddler class (2-3 yrs). My kid, initially cried but when we tried part time (8-12:30) for 3 months and then moved to full time (8-3:00), she became used to this school and teachers and was comfortable over there. She was eating well, sleeping well but they the teachers here doesn't encourage kids to play with each other. They just leave kids to play or do watever they like during the play time. They doesn't encourage group play and they never teach kids how to talk, behave and even how to be friendly with other kids. Things I didn't like about Kiddy Tyme: 1. Miss Mary and her assumptions. I think that is the scary part. Her behavior and attitude is very BAD!! 2. Potty training (Miss Mary says they can give potty training to only those kids who are already trained at home....Excuse me? If they are already trained, what is the exact your so called "potty training" mean?? 3. Doesn't teach behavioral, speech and doesn't encourage group play. 4. Didn't like the teachers' behavior with kids. 5. This school is only for those kids who are already good at speaking and already potty trained. Kids able to speak are taken well care as they can say what they are experiencing at school to their parents . 6. 2-3 yrs kids doesn't speak clear english and the teachers don't even teach anything to improve their language skills. They just complain they are not understanding, they are not speaking, etc etc. Hellooooo, dats wat you guys must be teaching here. If you guys are not doing all this, then what are you guys making kids do whole day then? Things I like about Kiddy Tyme: 1. They give the Twaddler connection sheet everyday so that parents can know the details abt their kids like when they slept, how much they ate, when was the diapers changed, activities they made kids do etc. 2. My daughter attended this child care center for about a month and it was horrible.. For starters miss Mary and her staff are very rude, miss Mary especially. I would constantly hear her talking bad about parents, made you wonder what she said about you when you were gone.. Just so fake.. My daughter would get sick every week. They don't offer meals, and the meals I did provide for her seemed as if they had gone untouched all day but the heart breaking part was when I picked her up one hot day and they were playing outside before I left I got her zippy cup and it was full of the juice I had provided for her and when she saw it she drank it so fast she spilled it all over herself.. On another occasion I picked her up at an irregular time and she was crying on her own and the one teacher they did have there was clearly overwhelmed having about 15 kids on her own.. I even saw her telling kids to keep away from my daughter as she was crying instead of trying to figure out what was wrong.. This was the class for younger kids under 2.. I have my daughter in another daycare now and she doesn't cry when I drop her off and even wants to stay longer when I pick her up and has not gotten sick once.. Im not trying to talk bad about a business but this experience was heartbreaking, I'm just trying to warn parents about this place because I wish I would have been warned.. read more

My son has been attending Kiddy Time for over three years now and I couldn't be happier with the program. Ms. Mary is the director and she is always there to give you an update on your child and listen to any concerns you have even if they are happening at home. The teachers all know all the kids which is really helpful and it is clear that they love spending their day with the kids. My son has learned a lot already including how to spell his name and a few other words, potty trained and creative art projects. Pricing is very reasonable. Lunch is not provided but that is something I actually like so that I have more control of my son's meals. Each classroom has a little chart with if a child has an allergy and their picture next to it just in case another teacher is filling in that day. My son stops at each teacher before we leave to say bye and they all take the time to actually tell him bye for the day which I appreciate. read more

I called the school, the Director Mary was rude! I asked for info regarding my 2yr old, she said I have to come in. I said Im sorry i have no time, she said (rudely)well Im gonna have to place you on hold, and she did! She hung up on me!! I called back & told her that she hung up on me, she was not appologetic. She then placed me on hold again!! She was not informative at all, she told me the high price of $170 without any details. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She just lost out a customer. My son has been coming to this daycare for 2 years and he is now 2 1/2 he started in the infant classroom where she took very good care of my son and all the babies there and she was very attentive and then he moved on to the twaddler classroom where he enjoyed playing with the kids and was always happy to be there. Now he is in the toddler classroom where he has learned so much abc's, colors and numbers and he also sings songs like twinkle twinkle little star etc. His teacher is also doing a great job in helping me with potty training him over all I have had no bad experiences with this day care not to mention I work walking distance from this daycare and go and check on him everyday on my break simply because I tend to miss him and I always see the teacher taking very good care of the kids and teaching them so much i also talk with alot of the parents that have had there kids there for years. I would recommend this daycare before alot of other one that's for sure they are the best! read more

I have nothing but good things to say about Kiddy Tyme. I sent my son, who is now 16 years old, to Kiddy Tyme. I was very apprehensive at first but couldn't have been more pleased. My son was only 6 months old when he started at Kiddy Tyme. The teachers always took great care of him and always made sure he ate well. My son was a little picky and would never want to eat at the designated times but Ms. Mary always took special care to make sure and keep checking back with him to see when he was ready to eat. All of the teachers were always very attentive and polite. I always felt like he was in good hands when he was there. They made us feel like family. When my son graduated from Kiddy Tyme he went on to a private school and was more than prepared for first grade. He was certainly ahead of the game. I had such a positive experience while there that when I had my daughter ten years later, my husband and I both agreed that if I could not stay home with her the only other place we would feel safe for her to be was at Kiddy Tyme. My children and I love to go back and visit. We spent many years there and it holds a very special place in our hearts. read more

My baby has been with Kiddy Tyme since she was 4 months and now she's almost 3 years old. I have so much trust in Kiddy Tyme with my baby. I do not feel worried about leaving her, I feel she is safe and in good hands. This is your child, their safety is the most important thing. There are always parents in and out, teachers around, and camera's watching. I do have to say the tuition is a little bit high but worth it. Not only is my baby safe, she is extremely smart, and ahead of a lot of other children I know. I can say its definitely due to Kiddy Tyme. My son has been attending Kiddy tyme for over a year now and I really like it there. When he first started he was not potty trained and they did a wonderful job of helping me get him potty trained. He has learned a lot while attending and enjoys all the teachers and staff. I like that the front door is always locked and you need a code to come in. If I have anyone new pick up my child they check ID and we have a password that is needed to check them out. I was NOT satisfied with kiddy tyme at ALL!!! This place seems amazing from what u see but at the end of the day ur child's actions says it all... I had my daughter at kiddy tyme for almost 3 months and she cried EVERYDAY that I dropped her off.. and for a while everyone was telling me she will be fine she just needs to get used to the teachers.. I think after 3 months she should be used to everything.. then when she finally started getting used to the teachers they switched her classroom and teachers.. so I asked teacher Veronica (who by the way has a major attitude problem) why did they switch her so fast and she said becuz it's a new school year. And she told me that they usually get them used to switching classrooms through the summer but they didn't get a chance to get the kids used to the transition becuz miss Mary was out on leave. And i stated to her that my daughter was just starting to show some improvement and teacher Veronica told me with attitude.. "well she can't stay in my class forever" and that just pissed me off and after that day I started looking for a new day care. Which I found... and my daughter is A LOT better and my daughter stopped crying after the first week.. so that just made me wonder what did kiddy tyme do or not do that my child cried everyday for 3 months. And i feel bad as a mother that I kept her there all that time.. but it's ok becuz where my daughter is at now the lady has learned my daughters likes and dislikes and she is getting to know my daughter in a way kiddy tyme never did. And then the directors are so pushy and just want ur money.. they don't care and out ur kids well being at all!!! DO NOT COME TO THIS DAYCARE!!!!!! My son came to this daycare for about two months, but he got sick after the first week. One day we came to pick him up early, he had all buggers over his face, and nobody clean his face, Very very poor when you see your kid are treated like that. Overall teachers are ok; but majority in this daycare, especially, Ms Mary, all about MONEY. When my son is ok to transit to high class, which is a little bit cheaper, Ms Mary said my son cannot go to the higher class because the tuition is so much different. I was listening and felt that..What!! he cannot go to higher class because of the tuition? he is wasting time to stay in this class if he actually qualify to the next class. I would love to hear she gave me a better reason like "he is not ready to go to the next class because...etc" not because of Money. And every single little things we request, Ms Mary first come up is all about money first. And the way she says things is very rude and not polite. Please read other people comments, I am not the only one to have the same comments. DON'T GO TO THIS DAYCARE. IT IS A TRAP AFTER YOU COME TO THIS DAYCARE!!
