Chef Brynn was great to work with and very reasonably priced. He made a 3 course meal plus hors d'ouerves for our bachelorette party of 21 and everything was delicious. HE IS AMAZING!!! So accommodating, incredible fresh food, came on time and was SOOO lovely, couldn't have made a better dinner for us ladies at a bachelorette. The ceviche was legit amazing, and every meal course (8 courses) was truly delicious, fresh, and incredible. He paced the courses perfectly based on what we needed. Was so accommodating for the vegetarians in our group. Very classy in serving our host first for every course. everything was done with us in mind, including bringing to-go baggies so that we could enjoy all the leftover (SO MUCH FOOD!) the next day. My family has used Bryn on several occasions ranging from smaller dinners to large parties. Bryn can cook a wide variety of cuisines excellently. Most recently he cooked for 9 girlfriends for my birthday and served the following: - Dinner #1: Hot Chips, Shrimp and Octopus Ceviche, Guacamole, Taqueria Salsa and Pico De Gallo, Grilled Ling Cod Tacos, Al Pastor, Margaritas: Hibiscus and Paloma, Strawberry and Blueberry Crostata The taco bar and ceviche was delicious plus the homemade chips were out of this world and so much more than just a device to eat guacamole Dinner #2: Ricotta Gnudi with Pea and Mint Puree, Potato Gnocchi with Pesto, Marsala & Mushroom or Homemade Sausage sauces, Lacinato Kale Salad, chocolate chip cookies Bryn did a pasta demonstration so my friends and i got to roll and cut the gnocchi. The sauces were all excellent Late night munchies: Margarita and Putanesca Flat Bread Pizzas - yum Breakfast #1: Veggie Frittata, Turkey Sausage and Spinach Frittata, Yogurt and Granola, Fruit Plate Bryn delivered this with dinner the first night so we could pull it out in the AM whenever we woke up Breakfast #2: Omelette Bar, Breakfast Potatoes, Fruit Plate These made to order omelets put life back in the group after a long night out Bryn is super personable, fun, knows his way around the kitchen and has a true passion for his craft. Bryn is phenomenal, we had him cater our Corporate Offsite (both Dinner and Breakfast) the food was amazing - seriously jaw dropping and everyone raved about it (and we have some super picky members of the Exec team) To start we had delicious appetizers: Mediterranean Kebobs, Tofu spanikopita's and some amazing Chicken skewers. The main course was some of the best Ribeye steaks and baked Chicken I've ever tasted. The steaks we're perfectly cooked and had a red wine reduction that people literally wanted ti drank straight out of the carafe! The mushroom reduction for the chicken also was mouth watering and all flavors we're singing to each other perfectly in concert. But the piece de resistance was the dessert, he made a apple / pear pie with fresh sweet cream, and a Pot de crème that literally had my eyes rolling in the back of my head on the first bite (OMG it was divine!) He made enough food for all 17+ of us and we had the perfect amount of leftovers for the Team to snack all night. He also came in the next morning and made us Egg Frittata, Potato pie with ranchero sauce (OMG again), Homemade granola + yogurt parfaits, and a chicken breakfast hash with spinach - which was also killer. He's a solid guy, has a very engaging personality and was a delight to have at the event - would HIGHLY recommend. Cannot wait to have him put together a 'cooking class competition' for our next offsite when we're here next Quarter for the next Leadership Offsite. I need to thank Bryn and let the world know what an amazing service and Chef he is. My family decided to get out and rent a villa in the desert. It was an amazing venue that was made unforgettable by Bryn. We had a 9 bedroom 14 bed Villa. It was just family. A bunch of kids, cousins, parents and in-laws. Bryn completely organized from top to bottom an amazing weekend of catered personal & custom exsperiances. My favorite was the Hawaiian 80's themed BBQ on Saturday night. I'll never forget that pineapple sticky rice. My wife's birthday unfortunately not only fell on a Wednesday this year but with the current unavailability of venues we weren't able to give her the special night she deserved. Burn made up for it in spades by hosting a very personal Champaign brunch on Sunday morning. Eggs Benedict, omelet bar, frittata, Belgium's waffles & pancakes for the kids and a fruit display. We found Bryn as a suggested concierge service add-on to our already amazing vacation rental at The Coachella Estate by Palm Vacation Rentals (another 5 stars btw.) We had a large group of ~20 people staying together for a family reunion, so when it was suggested to us, we thought it was a great idea because who wants to cook for 20 people for an entire week while on vacation? Or deal with the logistical headaches of trying to coordinate dinner reservations for such a large group every night? Or getting everyone to agree on what to eat for every meal? From the moment we first contacted Bryn to discuss our options, we knew immediately we made the right decision. It was obvious that Bryn has a lot of experience cooking for families in a private house environment. He was formerly the personal chef for a well-known musician's family. (I was sworn to secrecy!) The best part about Bryn is he is extremely flexible and versatile with his menu options, and knew the right questions to ask. He had several prepared sample menus to help stimulate ideas, but at the same time was also very accommodating to our own specific requests. It didn't matter that for some meals we wanted informal and simple dishes like tacos and burritos, while on another night, we had an incredible, celebratory, fine-dining, surf & turf feast! Bryn even had no problems doing ethnic foods like Chinese stir fry or Indian samosas for us. By the end of the week, we just gave him a budget and let him decide with directions to just surprise us! His fine dining meals were well executed and less expensive than eating out and way less of a hassle than slaving away at the stove during vacation! Hiring him was the proverbial having your cake and eating it too. We didn't know it at the time, but his meals will definitely be a delicious part of our magical memories of the vacation that we will always cherish and will be talking about for years to come! read more
