I would give 10 stars if I could! We'll definitely be working with Chef Tonya for all of our future events. You won't regret booking her! We wanted to host an engagement party for 25 people at home with hors d'oeuvres and dessert bites. Upon reaching out, Chef Tonya quickly responded with her full menu offerings and suggested popular items, as well as what she thought would pair well with our "wine night" theme. On the day of the event, we were in awe of how delicious everything was. She's incredibly intuitive and knows exactly when to take initiative too, which we appreciated the most. We didn't need to direct her on where anything was--she simply found what she needed without interrupting the flow of the evening. At the end, she thoughtfully packaged all the leftovers using our Tupperware and Ziploc bags, making it easy to store or send food home with guests. Chef Tonya and daughter Chef Faye were amazing! They catered the rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding in Cathedral City. This was my first time to hire a caterer, as I usually do all the cooking myself. With my first phone conversation with Chef Tonya, I immediately felt very comfortable that Tine to Dine would do a wonderful job and that the food would be made with love and care. We had a group of 35 guests and chose a menu of small bites. The presentation was beautiful (they even provided a centerpiece!) , there was something for everyone (young children to special diets) and every item was absolutely wonderful! Chef Tonya and her daughter were PHENOMENAL. On top of being able to navigate a kitchen in an Airbnb (aka not organized, who knows what was in there) they were self sufficient while we got ready for our themed dinner! We chose a Mediterranean menu, and her prices were extremely reasonable. The mezze platter was KILLER, and the only thing we got a picture of before we attacked it her chicken shawarma was juicy and flavorful, the rice was delicious, as a non-falafel eater I LOVED her falafel, hummus on POINT, and basically everything was perfect. She even made a tasty cake for the birthday girl, which eliminated us having to find a baker in Palm Springs. All in all, amazing time and amazing food. Wow Tonyas food had my whole family SO happy. We were all blown away at the flavors, presentation and Tonyas great attitude! She is very professional and very organized. She comes in serves does her own dishes and jets out in order for u to seriously enjoy. She went well and above and offered to bake a cake for my sons Bday at no additional charge. I asked for muffins for the following morning and she hand made Apple Cinnamon muffins that were seriously top 5 of my life! VERY reasonable and just a great sweet woman to have. Hidden treasure! The highlight of our holiday season was selecting Tine to Dine for our family get-together in La Quinta. We hired the team to celebrate my 60th birthday. The guests included the who's who of food and wine enthusiasts, so the audience was discerning. They knocked it out of the park! The menu was inventive and delicious. The apps and main course made the menu flow perfectly. Our guests were corning them asking them how they made some of the incredible dishes. What's impressive is how they flexed to add more guests at the last minute and they accommodated our large party flawlessly. Honestly we had the best experience working with Tine to Dine. I got quotes from several private chefs to cater our weekend retreat in Palm desert, and I'm so glad I chose Chef Tonya and her team. I was a little nervous going with her at first since she didn't have any reviews, but I spoke with her on the phone and looked at her website photos, and decided to take a leap of faith and book her. I'm so glad I did because her food was delicious, and her team went out of their way to accommodate all our groups food allergies. Even dishes that I assumed she wouldn't be able to do gluten free, she surprised us and made a GF version. Our entire group was so grateful that we were able to hang out all weekend without worrying about food deliveries or cooking. Also they left our kitchen sparkling clean. These two were simply amazing. So fun and kind and the food was AMAZING. The appetizers were so delicious and it was incredibly hard to not splurge on them. I had to keep reminding myself that the main course and dessert were still on the menu. Everything was cooked to perfection, and I cried from pure happiness. I was never raised with veggies so I don't eat them often but I wanted all the veggies. They were prepared in such a unique and delicious way that I think I am officially a veggie man now.
