The man who works there is verbally aggressive. This business is an emotional hazard. I went there to get a digital passport photo (they previously confirmed that they do it). The file they sent me was too small, so I came back and asked for a refund to save everybody's time, and brought in a page with the official requirements for the photo size. Shakeel refused the refund, blamed me for not telling him before, talked over me nonstop, and talked down to me. He does not understand that the image file is measured in pixels and bits because he insisted that the photo was 2x2 inches, and, therefore, the size was correct. He also said it was not up to him because this is how the camera is set up. When I asked why he kept interrupting me, he said he had no time. After I left, he sent me several edits of the same file. He does not understand the basics of digital photography. The image itself is dark (both the background and my face) and would require editing if it were larger. Not sure the editing would help, though. Business quality: 0. Customer service: -10. This place is not good for customers' health. read more

I reached out by phone on Monday morning to confirm the order (they are closed Sundays), and it was ready early afternoon. They offered and cut the print to the exact size without any additional charge, and the print turned out beautifully. Price was around $14.99 and received a discount with Yelp check in! Yaay! Location and parking was easy to find and I'll surely return for future projects. They have teeshirts hanging on the walls (prints they've done for local businesses in the area), which reminded me of how fun it would be to have family teeshirts made for our next vacation or birthday party. Ask any bride to be and she will tell you that no matter how much you plan and schedule ahead, things get hectic and even the littlest things that didn't seem like that big of a deal can turn disastrous if you don't get the right help. I was a bit over ambitious and decided I wanted hand it napkin wraps and hand scrolls for each place setting - helpful hint don't be like me and do this the week of the wedding! I was scrambling to find a good print shop that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg. The owner and I became buddies - partially because I was in here every day with a new task but mainly because he was so awesome. He was very helpful. I brought in designs I needed to print and even the paper I wanted things printed on and he helped me look through my options and even showed me different types of papers. And before running the two 200 sheets - he preprinted a sample of each one for me before I left so that I could see exactly what my prints would look like. My goodness how horrific would it be if I came back to pick up 200 copies of the wrong thing?! Most visits he was able to get everything printed while I waited - for the more intricate works where I needed him to cut it only took a few hours. I was an artist selling at this year's Sakura-con in the Seattle Convention Center. I am from Los Angeles and realized that I did not print enough posters to sell (first day all sold out). Knowing that I have 2 more days of the convention, I was stressing to look for a place to print more and I needed TOP QUALITY printing services. That's when I found TOP NOTCH! They were a 13 min drive from our hotel and lucky my roommate had her car and was able to drive me. The worker there, Shakeel, was very very patient and helpful. He defiantly showed great knowledge of prints, paper, files, colors, quality etc. (most knowledgeable local print shop owner I've met). His printers, though small, produced GREAT results. Since he knew I was a first timer there, he gave me TONS of discounts. I printed a total of 127 pages on 11x17 80lb cover matte paper. Since my files didn't have a bleed, he offered to print it on 12x18 paper for the SAME price so that the white boarders could be cut off. He even had a cutting service, WHICH IS GREAT! Normally he charged $4 per stack of image to cut, but since I had like 6 different images, he gave me a discount of a flat rate of $15 to cut. Plus the more copies you order, the cheaper it is. VERY awesome place and an EXTREME life saver. Shakeel defiantly lived up to his slogan of "where quality matters". I really wish he was in Los Angeles to be honest, lol. read more

I went in this last weekend for a simple passport photo, and Shakeel could not have been nicer or more helpful. He produced pictures that were in perfect proportion to what the passport form requires (something other places mess up). And all for a really good price! A man named Shaquille (I don't know how he spelled it) had a poor disposition while I attempted to explain how I'd like my cards designed. We spoke for several minutes, during which he told me he would call or text me the following to give me a price quote for the design and printing. He never called me back. We needed pictures for our German Visa asap and the reviews suggested Top Notch to be the best rated in the area. It didn't fall short at all. The gentleman at the store went out of his way to get us some good prints. We needed a specific grey background for the image and he hunted it down, took trial pictures, spent over 10 mins trying to get my 3yr old to get a stand steady for a picture, whilst taking into consideration all our requests. I love this place for small and medium size print projects. They do excellent work, the prices are good, and turn times are very reasonable.

We have gone to Vista Copy and Print now for two projects. The first was our Holiday cards, which we ordered from VistaPrint and did not order enough. Shakeel took these cards and duplicated them, including some design work due to the fact that parts were too faint to be scanned. They turned out great, and he matched VistaPrint's price! The second project he did for us was t-shirts for my husband's 30th birthday. I didn't know where to start, but remembering the great experience I had there with the holiday cards, I called Visa Copy and Print first. He explained the process, the pricing, and even offered to order the special shirts that I wanted, since he got them cheaper than I could find them anywhere. He finished this project in less than 4 days, and the shirts were perfectly done! He even did some design work to enhance the text so that it would be more visible, and he blew up the photo as well - all for no cost. He had me look at a proof of one shirt before printing, so there were no surprises. Bottom line - this shop is fantastic. They do great work and go above and beyond to get you the best outcome. The printing quality was okay, but the service was horrible. I personally would not go back a second time. I was told my files would be done at 9am the next morning, the owner called me that night and changed his mind said that I could come in at 11am. I went to get a print out for a document I emailed. The owner/manager told me the email didn't go thru or it might take time and told me to print out from the computer. I did as I was told using default printer. I told him that I printed out then he yelled at me why I didn't use a certain printer. When I tried to print with the document with the printer he chose he told me to download the document first .. with a tone and condescending attitude. We argued and I was not happy, we went back and forth and call me "African Ass" being a black person it was offensive. I left the premise to go to my car. He touched his crutch and gestured offensively toward me. It was the worst customer experience I've ever experienced. I've heard similar stories about this business treating people with black African decent. read more
