Nevertheless, I have downgraded my rating to only four stars, because, before going to this service center, I had called the main FedEx number for information about it (although after hours). Absolutely the worst junk people working at a desk. I came to pick the order up. Damos or old glasses guy took my id to get my order. Then he asked for the order number which I did not have as I ordered on Canva. Old glasses guy started yelling at me rather than helping for no reason, he did not want to help me and started servicing the other client besides me. I told him to chill out, I'm a client he is an employee don't give me this attitude. Today I visited your FedEx Office location to pick up an order under my name. I walked in, gave my ID, and started giving my order number. The employee kept asking me for the number even though he had already been holding my ID for about two minutes. The email from Canva clearly states: "1. Tell a storeperson you're collecting a Canva order. 2. Bring this email as proof of purchase. 3. Orders are held for 30 days." I showed the email, but instead of helping me, the glasses guy gave me attitude and started raising his voice, getting nervous and impatient. I told him calmly to chill out -- I'm the customer, and his job is to help, not scold people. Then another employee, Casey, jumped in and immediately became verbally aggressive. He raised his voice, put his hands up in front of me, and escalated the situation for no reason. It got to a point where I felt the need to start recording just to protect myself. As soon as I started filming, Casey said he wouldn't give me my order while I was recording and went to the back of the store. I kept asking for the manager's name, number, and for my order so I could leave. After I stopped recording, Casey finally came back out, asked for my name, and handed me the order. Turns out the order was already under my name and didn't require any number at all -- meaning I was yelled at by two employees for absolutely no reason. This behavior was unprofessional, hostile, and completely unnecessary. I'm requesting that this incident be reviewed, and I would like the store manager or district manager to contact me regarding appropriate action so situations like this don't happen to other customers. read more

Absolutely, the rudest person on the phone that I have ever experienced. I would not have waited on hold for 10 minutes to talk to a live person if I had wanted to have him tell me to look it up on Google. I felt like I was talking to a 10-year-old brat boy with mother issues . I had a few simple questions and I was very courteous and nice, but he would cut me off mid sentence and tell me to Google it . Just a shout out to my local FedEx location. Super helpful nice guy and great service.

Went in to fax a large insurance application. Was quoted about $50 to send it using the self service copier. When I balked at the price, they suggested I copy the materials and they would ship it. Spent $5 to copy only to discover only a PO Box was listed as address, so it couldn't be shipped. The staff referred me to USPS to mail. Instead, I went to the UPS store and they sent it for me via fax for $20. I'll be using UPS in the future. read more

I have been a customer of this particular location for the last 8ish years of running my own business, and I've also been a customer of other locations nationwide. For those independent consultants/business owners who are navigating printing on your own - this is the best place to support you. I have printed hundreds (thousands?) of custom binders, color reports, and other materials of various shapes and sizes. The quality here is the best and you won't find better consultation/customer service. I've gotten to know these folks on a first name basis and not only do I trust them to get things done well and on time, and with ideas for saving me money, they have come to my rescue more times than I'd like to admit. If you're like me and depend in part on others to reflect the quality of your services, I recommend you work with this location, and these fine people. I went in there and had a perfectly wrapped secure package with prepaid label and everything only to have a clerk tell me they cannot send it because it was not properly packaged. I asked why and he couldn't give me a good reason why it was not acceptably wrapped and labeled.The other employees just stood there aloof and quiet as mice. I've sent hundreds of packages in my life, with no problems issues (caused by me). The incompetency of this employee baffled me - I've never went in there again and use other Fedex locations for Fedex needs. I have gone to this location for years because the staff is always very accommodating and thoughtful, even after I moved out of the neighborhood. Today I had such a terrible experience that I don't think I will ever return. The clerk was rude, interrupted me, and refused to print even one of my files because it was "too complicated" (two of them were just plain paper 8.5x11 documents). There was just one other customer present (at the self serve printer). I understand that using the online order feature might be more convenient for the staff, but I only had about 10 minutes of work and he wouldn't give me even one minutes of his time, even after I explained that the project was urgent. In the past I have had great experiences. I wish those employees all the best. read more

Terrible service. I was given the incorrect receipt for tracking info and I sent the tracking number of someone else's package to my client. I got an angry response from my client when they told me the package had been delivered to the wrong address. When I discovered that the tracking number was incorrect I attempted to call to get the correct tracking number. The person who answered the phone said the team tomorrow could help be because there were 6 people there and he was the only person. I asked him to help as this should only take 1-2 minutes to solve but he said no and hung up. I drove in and arrived about 2 minutes after the phone call ended, there was no one in the store. Casey (told me his name was John on the phone) was able to help me quickly after repeatedly saying I should have just come the next day like he asked me to. The unwillingness to help is awful along with the mix up of receipts that had other people's addresses and personal information attached to the tracking number. read more

They are nice here! It's pouring rain. The baby is fidgeting. I have 6 big boxes to send. They should have been sent over a week ago. And I'm drenched and tired. The workers here took pity on me and I appreciate it. They helped moved the boxes inside for me and even helped make sure I had the forms right while I tried to control the little one from destroying the place. And they did this all in good humor. I was so relieved to get a decent price on everything too. And the little one loved the extra Halloween beanie baby she got. It's a nice facility, a little small, but carried some useful supplies. COVID what? Pandemic who? I visited this store today to get a shipping label printed, and after an employee (who was lovely, I wish I had gotten his name) helped me, another walked up to the counter without a mask on and asked what I needed help with. To see someone inside a business casually walk up to a register with no mask on at all and act like it was normal was honestly a bit shocking. Of course, it is also illegal in Washington right now and has been for months. Cases are skyrocketing. Another employee was chewing gum and therefore his mask was constantly falling completely below his nose, which he then barely pulled up before having it fall again (and again). They simply seemed not to care. Both of these employees were middle-aged adults who should absolutely know better, and should be following public health mandates. There were several elderly customers in the store at the time. There are no windows for ventilation. It is SO disrespectful, irresponsible, and again, illegal to put your fellow employees and your customers at risk like this. I realize there is a (very, very small) chance that this could be a case (of the employee who had no mask on, not the employee whose mask wasn't worn properly) where a mask cannot be worn due to a disability. If that were true, I'm still unsure why the company would allow that person to work a register and put customers at risk when there were clearly other employees working in the back, non customer facing, where this employee would at least be exposing less people with no mask on. There's a young black guy who works here who was kind, helpful, and wore his mask properly the entire time! He deserves a raise. If you're worried about COVID (as anyone with critical thinking skills should be) I would advise you to go elsewhere for your printing/shipping needs. read more

This is the closest FedEx location to where I live. I came a day ago to purchase colored paper and have something printed. In the middle of my visit their systems went down (not their fault). I came back a day later, because I still needed to get the printing done (mind you it's a 20 minute drive there and a 20 minute drive back - so I've already spent additional time just coming back because of their technical malfunctions). They pulled up the Microsoft document I need to print. And when they printed it, the formatting was off from the original document. The associate then said he'd had to charge me $7.50 to change the font size of one single part of the document and that I should have saved the document and sent it as a PDF to avoid formatting issues. I asked him if he could make an exception based on the fact I have to travel their twice to try and get the printing complete. He refused. I left without getting anything printed - awful customer service. read more

I would not go here if you need your passport photos taken. The photos came very washed out and the guy who took them, reassured me it would be fine and the passport agency would accept it. How wrong he was... I went to the passport agency this morning to expedite my renewal process so I can fly out to my father's memorial service in another country. I had my application, travel itinerary, and photos ready. They rejected the photo because it was too washed out and the agent told me that even if he were to accept it, I would be questioned by TSA on every travel. So I had to retake my photos and they were not cheap. (Note: the passport agency building in downtown Seattle has a bag check in process and just like the airport, you have to remove your jacket and shoes, to pass through... so I had to go through that again, just to go get my photos retaken) I went back to this FedEx location and told the manager about what happened. She was apologetic and when I asked her to refund me for these photos and compensate for the additional photos I had to take, she could only refund me for the bad shots I took there. Not great, but I didn't think they could do the latter anyway... was worth a shot. However. Just like the employee, the manager admitted they had lighting issues with where they take passport photos and it tends to wash people out. It's baffling to hear this is a known issue but nothing was done to fix it? Why put people through this? Especially people who are desperate to get to where they need to go. Do not come here to take your passport photos.... at least until they mitigate this issue. If they cannot get something like this done, knowing there is an existing problem but are willing to take the risk and put their customers through hell, then can you really trust the other service they provide? I've used this location for business faxing and once to enlarge an image for presentation during an important RPG session. The staff was friendly and answered all of my questions quickly. One older employee is quite cheerful though I remember his name. I wish prices were a little cheaper. Parking is decent and I've never waited for a space. read more

I have come to this Fedex for over three years, and everyone working here has been wonderful. An especial shout-out to Eric, who has worked here forever and remembers EVERYONE! He's the sweetest and he's always there to help or chat with you. Eric makes this store great! I hope they get more people in, they always seem shorthanded on the weekends. I wish prices were lower, but they do the job good and fast. I got a package to Japan within a week - for me, it was definitely worth the price. I've been using FedEx more lately since the UW libraries are on lockdown. Usually go to this location and the one in Downtown. I mostly print off documents on my USB drive on the self-serve printing machines with the refillable cash card. Be aware that the parking stalls are very small and angled, so if you have a big car/SUV, be careful! I've never had any issues finding a parking spot. The lines are usually short here, never a long wait if I need to ask for the worker's assistance. I want to shout-out their employee named Ashby N. He is always so friendly and helpful. I've had the pleasure of having him help me print out some documents. He goes the extra mile helping you with supplies, suggesting which particularly item is needed, and ringing up my purchases. Overall, great attitude and genuine service. I've overheard other employees being rude to some of the other customers there on my last visit. Fortunately I've only had to deal with Ashby and will seek his help specifically every time I go into this location. read more

Rude employee, bad poster lamination, disregard for services and products. I had 3 posters laminated here. One of them was wrinkled, so starting of, not great, the guy that actually did the lamination was friendly over the phone, however when I went to pick the posters up with my girlfriend, the guy at the counter was extremely rude to my girlfriend and myself. When my girlfriend told him what we were picking up, he said "I can't understand you" (my girlfriend has an accent), when we weren't quick enough to tell him what size the posters were, he grew exasperated and simply started interrupting. He was dismissive of the fact that they had messed up the poster during the lamination, to quote: "well we can't fix it now, can we?". And after processing the payment he tossed the receipt at us as he walked away. As far as customer service goes, there was none, as far as the lamination goes, it was a bad job. So nothing right really. The fedex feedback page is a joke as well. read more

I had the package held at this location. The first clerk told me somebody else had already picked it up a week ago, when it hadn't even been shipped then. After investigation, he told me it must have been somebody with a name similar to mine. He hadn't even checked for the specific package, before telling me it had already been picked up. The second clerk looked for it, but somebody else's package had been labeled with my tracking number. They ended up telling me to call FedEx's 1-800 number to get this mess straightened out myself. I have mixed feelings about this FedEx. In the end, I think the service will depend upon who is working with you. I had to deal with a number of faxes at one point recently, and one of the guys working there remembered me when I called in to inquire about something. I'm always impressed when people remember, especially when it's over the phone. He and the manager were always very friendly and knowledgeable. On a different day, I went in to ship some golf clubs to a friend across the country. The guy working was a bit more careless with the service and seemed impatient with me (I admit I can be a little slow sometimes, lol). But anyway, he and I both filled out portions of the delivery slip, and I got a copy and left. When I looked at my slip afterwards, I realized I hadn't written my friend's name on it anywhere since it was being delivered to a FedEx location rather than a home address. So I called the FedEx and talked to the guy who had helped me. "Do you need my friend's name to put on the slip so that he can pick it up?" The guy told me not to worry about it and that it would be okay. I thought that was weird. ANYONE could have picked it up. I asked if they would call me when it arrived, and he said no, just check on the tracker. I was like, well, okay... I'll just keep my fingers crossed! So of course I'm freaking out all week, and I didn't tell my friend! Haha. So I tracked it and told him to go pick it up. He got the clubs (whew!!), but when I talked to him, I told him the full story about the FedEx guy not taking his name. He said, "Yeah, when I went to pick them up, it was a huge ordeal because my name wasn't on it! The person almost didn't give them to me, and they had to bring out the manager!" All of that confusion could have been avoided if the guy had just taken my friend's name when we were on the phone and written it on the slip. Of course, I should have realized this while I was in the store, but come on people, help a sista out! read more

This kinkos location is a hit or miss. It really depends on who is working there at the time. When a manager is around, everyone is helpful. The self serve stations are great, as they are at the majority of other kinkos locations. In the absence of the manager, some of the employees are very reluctant to assist, even for a single letter size test print. When I was last there, two tall male employees in particular made it clear that they did not want to be there. I was one of the only two customers, and they barely made eye contact with us or supplied adequate customer service. They mumbled and waved at us to use the self serve stations before finding out what we needed. Autumn is awesome. She is always very very helpful with my print jobs, even during busy times. I would return only if I new I would encounter her or employees like her. Scope it out, find out which employees are helpful and avoid the lazy ones. read more

I've never had any issues shopping here here. I always try and buy my packing materials before actually getting here because their tape and boxes are vastly overpriced. It's super close to where I live and I usually just drop things off so I can't really comment on the service. It's always an easy in and easy out. Just a heads up though that their parking is awful. RE: Passport Photos Convenient location and service was good but there is usually a line for assistance so bring book or smart phone to keep you busy. This morning on a weekday there was actually no line! I'm posting 3 stars today because of the $16 cost for getting 2 standard passport photos. This FedEx Office is by far the worst around...first bad experience was the girl that opens in the moring strolling in 20 minutes late with a fresh cup of Starbucks in hand!! Seriously?? If you are running late, you dont have time to stop and get a cup of coffee. Tonight I showed up about 45 minute before closing to try to print up some brochures...after trying to figure out how to use these new USB port machines they purchased, I finally asked the guy who was helping me to ask his boss if she could quickly just print it up...mind you it was 100 copies double sided...her answer was that they were closing in 10 minutes and she just could not help me...I explained to her that I had been at the store trying to figure out how to work the machine (with another co-worker) but she still told me that the store was closing in 10 minutes and if I wanted I could drive to the U-Disctrict Store. Moral of the story...dont show up to Kinkos needing something fairly easy done that day. read more

This Kinkos is terrible. It only reason it gets two stars is because there is the occasional employee who is friendly and goes above and beyond. Otherwise, if there was another place within a reasonable distance I would go to said place instead. I've become used to the unhelpful staff who simply point to the self-service machines no matter what you're printing (hello? There's a reason I'm not printing this at home). But, today, I needed to do something that was apparently extremely complicated. I wanted to **gasp** print two to a page. The self-service machines can't perform the task and I didn't want to print 80 pages at home. So, I asked genius Jeff if he could do this small task for me. He couldn't figure out how to do this without reorganizing my entire file and charging me 10 bucks. I explained that he must be mistaken; I have done this many times at other Kinkos. He looked at me like I was an idiot and condescendingly told me all Kinkos were the same. So, I drove the 80 blocks to the U-District where I had gotten good service as a grad student. No, there they didn't charge me for clicking the one box to print two to a page. Summary: Use it if you have no other choice. They can perform basic services and it's next to a really nice coffee shop. Otherwise go to the U-District. read more
