Miguel's two-man crew (Angel and Manuel) worked incredibly hard, putting in long days (roughly 9am-8pm) over 3 days to get everything done. The finished floor looks great, and the installation quality was excellent -- clean lines, tight seams, and they clearly took care with the details, including the stairs. The one area for improvement was scheduling at the start of the project. After our special-order floor materials arrived, it took several days of back-and-forth to actually get a firm installation date on the calendar, and there was a bit of uncertainty about timing along the way. Once the crew was on-site, though, communication and work quality were great. We purchased a property that I knew I would not be able to move in unless it had new flooring needed new flooring. Knowing nothing about flooring and not knowing a contractor, I went to Floor and Decor and called the number they gave me to request flooring installers. I gave them the date escrow closed and requested I meet with someone as soon as possible after that date. Well the Gods were smiling on us when we got Miguel and his crew from Top Notch Flooring. Miguel came out the day after escrow closed and Ramon started work just a few days afterward. This was a very difficult installation. I recently contracted with Top Notch Flooring to remove old tile and carpet and replace it with luxury vinyl planks. All I can say about their work is WOW!! Ange and Manuel were amazing. Due to the dust that would occur when removing the tile, they took great care by sealing and covering everything with plastic. Once that was done, these two were like machines getting rid of the old flooring, prepping the area and then laying the new flooring and baseboards. I pointed out concerns about their work and the reply was "we are not perfect"! Now having carpet placed and because they didn't do their job correctly the carpet can't be placed until their poor work is corrected. Not by them, but my husband since due to our schedule the carpet has to go in today. We have no issues with LL Flooring. We have used them twice.
