This place runs Saturdays (11-7) and Sundays (Noon-5). I tried it out for the first time last fall and found the overall experience great. They pick you up from the SW commuter lot near highway 40 in a shuttle bus (think senior citizen trip shuttle bus). They then take you to just about any winery you want in the area (the exception being Montelle because Montelle will no longer allow buses near their premises). I found it extremely affordable, especially after seeing what other places in the United States charge. It was only $20, which can't be beat unless you travel out to Hermann. The shuttle buses were clean and the driver was super friendly and accommodating. This is definitely the way you want to travel when visiting the Augusta wineries. My only complaint would be that one of their buses was broken when we went, which made for some long wait times in between the wineries. Hopefully that is fixed now. Finally, I would recommend making a reservation online because they seem to fill up fast (even in the fall). This is definitely something I will do again this year.

My son is a freshman at SEMO, and we had booked a shuttle to take him from campus to the St. Louis airport after an incredibly difficult week--he had to travel home for his father's funeral. Plans unexpectedly shifted when his university stepped in to handle his travel arrangements, requiring us to cancel the shuttle. When I called, the team at STL Shuttle Service was incredibly understanding and compassionate given our sudden family loss, handling our cancellation with so much grace and empathy. I had booked an earlier ticket with a different travel agent and had to cancel at the last minute due to a family situation. The other agent made things difficult by not helping in anyway and in turn losing me money in the process. Finally after many calls to the airline directly, I was issued a credit for the cancelled ticket. Recently when I planned to use the credit I realized it would be complicated and result in further loss of money due to archaic rules imposed by the airlines! I finally called Jignesh at Shriji having worked with him before and knowing he was an efficient and straightforward person. As expected Jignesh promptly booked me a ticket meeting my needs (multiple destinations). He went above and beyond and dealt with the airline directly and negotiated with them to waive a couple hundred dollars in fees and allow them to keep the booking which included partner airlines (this was not allowed as per the rules of my credit voucher). My out of pocket expense was minimal and the credit issued on the earlier ticket was applied entirely! These days when you can good find deals online, one wonders why a travel agent is needed. In my opinion, Jignesh proved why a good agent is invaluable and can do wonders for you and save you money... not to mention peace of mind!!
